CAUTION!
To avoid damage to property, ALWAYS place this appliance on a surface which is
suitably heat resistant as this unit will get extremely hot during operation.
WARNING!
Do not use this product indoors or in a confined space as it could ead to
carbon monoxide poisoning. DO NOT leave flames or hot embers unattended.
IMPORTANT- Carefully remove any packaging before use, but retain the
safety instructions.

These instructions should be stored with the product.
This product is for domestic use ONL V and should not be used commercially or
for contract purposes.
Safety Caution:
- DO NOT light the fire with petrol, paraffin, methylated spirit, lighter fuel, fire lighters or alcohol.
- Always stand your BBQ outdoors and on level ground away from trees and wooden fencing.
- Keep children and pets at a safe distance from the Charcoal Starter.
- During use, always use protective gloves when touching any part of the Charcoal Starter.
- Always ensure the Charcoal Starter is completely cooled down before storing away.
- To prolong the life of the metal parts, do not leave the Charcoal Starter outside and unprotected from the weather. Ideally it should be stored in a garage or garden shed when not in use.
Instructions
- Turn the Charcoal Starter upside down.
- Crumple two full sheets of newspaper and stuff them in the bottom of the Charcoal Starter.
- Turn the Charcoal Starter right side up, and place on the charcoal grate of your BBQ.
- Add appropriate amount of briquettes/charcoal but do not over fill.
- Strike a match, and insert into one of the bottom air vents to ignite the newspaper.
- When the top layer of briquettes/charcoal have a light coating of grey ash, carefully lift the Charcoal Starter using barbeque mitts and empty the coals onto the charcoal grate for either the direct or indirect cooking method.
- Please note the Charcoal Starter will still be hot so allow it to competely cool down in a safe place out of reach of children and pets before cleaning or storing away.
