INSTALLATION AND OPERATION
- The Power Conditioners are the perfect accessories for any rack mount system. Install in the top slot of a standard 19-inch rack, and the 4 Front and16 switched AC outlets on the rear panel will provide full safety protection to all your rack equipment. These conditioners protect your delicate electronic equipment by combining a high-voltage varistor surge and transient suppressor with an RFI/EMI interference filter. The filter helps prevent noise from fluorescent lights, motors, and similar sources of “electronic pollution” from contaminating the AC feed to your sensitive video, audio, VTR, or computer circuits.
- Plug Power Cord (7) into a standard grounded 120V outlet.
- Plug sensitive electronic equipment into the 8 Rear Panel Outlets (4)
- Turn the Outlet Power Switch (1) to the “ON” position. Lit LED indicates conditioned power to the connected equipment.
- MAXIMUM LOAD: The Power Conditioner 4 Front and 16 Rear Panel Outlets are rated at 15 amps total load (or 3600W at 120VAC). If this maximum load is exceeded, the Circuit Breaker will trip, cutting off power to all connected equipment in your rack. If this happens, reduce the load by unplugging one or more units from the power conditioner, and push the circuit breaker to reset it.
