Furthermore, the rollator is intended to carry a load either in a specially designed basket, on a tray or in a bag. The maximum product load referred to in ANNEX A. This weight limitation includes the weight of the user and the content of the basket or in the bag.

  • This manual MUST be given to the user of the product.

  • If you don’t understand the usage or the precautions, please contact with the dealer or the proper technical person before you use the product because may be caused damage.

  • Be careful when children are nearby and do not allow the children to play with the product.

  • Do not go up or down stairs with the rollator.
  • Do not use the rollator on escalators.
  • Do not use unauthorized parts, accessories, or adapters other than those approved by MOBIAK.
  • Do not stand on the product.
  • Loads must only be transported in the basket or in the bag. Be careful when there is a heavy load, the max load in the basket or in the bag is 5kg

BEFORE USE

  1. Check if the frame is damaged in order to guarantee a safe use of the product. (There are no cracks or fractures in the frame)
  2. Check, if the product is properly assembled.
  3. Check If the frame is completely open. The product is in full extension and is locked in this position.
  4. Check that the brake works correctly.
  5. Check If the screws and the knobs are securely fastened and in good condition.
  6. Always check the condition of wear for the mechanical parts to ensure the absolute safe use of the product for people and objects.
  7. If there are quick release axes, check that they have been secured correctly.
  8. Check for wear to front and rear wheels.
  9. Check tires, tire pressures (if need id) and wheel locks (brakes). The brakes will not work properly if the pressure is too low or the gap between the tire and the wheel locks is too long.
  10. Make sure that the wheels are free of hair, lint and other debris.
  11. We do not recommend that the product is issued to anyone without first carrying out a full assessment of their specific needs. It is important that the user is given the necessary support by the product as prescribed by a qualified professional. This is both for the safety of the user and also their recovery pattern.

WALKING WITH THE ROLLATOR:

  1. Position the product close as to you.
  2. Take a step towards, while you are using the handgrips for support.

SITTING DOWN ON A CHAIR WITH THE ROLLATOR:

  1. Stand in front of the chair with the Rollator, the back of your legs should touch the chair.

  2. Engage the parking Brakes in braked position.

  3. Place your hands on the arms of the chair, lean forward slightly and sit down carefully.
    STANDING UP FROM A CHAIR WITH THE ROLLATOR:

  4. Engage the parking Brakes in braked position.

  5. Place the Rollator in front of you, use the armrests of the chair as support and rise carefully to a standing position.

  6. Once steady in a standing position, transfer your hands to the hand grips of the Rollator.

  7. Disengage the parking Brakes and step towards.

OTHER INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Avoid stairs or obstacles, otherwise ask help from an attendant:
  2. Users should not use the product while are using any means of transport.
  3. The product have a brake on the wheels, which should be secured when It is not moving.
  4. DO NOT touch moving parts while moving DANGER OF INJURY.

MAINTENANCE & CLEANING

  • Periodic checking and inspection of the product will help to maintain it’s life and effectiveness.
  • Clean each section of the walker frequently.
  • Use only a cloth and mild soap on surfaces that need cleaning.
  • Use another clean & damp cloth to clean the wheels or a brush, (but no wire brush!)
  • Clean the wheels with warm water and mild soap. Pay attention in drying the wheels. it is dangerous use a wheelchair with wet wheels.
  • Then use a clean cloth and dry well before using the product.
  • DO NOT leave the wheelchair wet.
  • If you need to disinfect the product, use a common, mild disinfectant by wiping down all generally accessible surfaces
  • Do not use an abrasive detergent cleaner.
  • Do not use a steam cleaner.
  • Never use acids, alkalies or solvents.

IMPORTANT!
Risk of corrosion, The rollator must not be stored outside in wet climate or in humid environments for a long period.

  • In case of damage or malfunction of your product DOT NOT use the product and please contact the authorized and trained representative.
  • Do not use the product for a purpose not indicated in this manual

ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
If one day you find that your product needs to be replaced or it is no longer working for you, consider protecting the environment:

  1. Do not dispose your product along with the rest of the public waste (this is also the meaning of the shown recycling sign).
  2. Contact your Public Authorities and they will instruct you of the Recycling centers to which your product must be disposed of.
  3. Correct disposal of your product helps the protection of the environment as well as the recycling of the product’s components.

INCIDENT REPORTING:
Any serious incident that occurs about use of the device must be reported to the manufacturer and a competent authority of the Member State in which the user and/or patient resides.

DECLARATION OF CONFORMITY:
We are solely responsible for declaring that the Medical Devices mentioned in this statement are of Low-Risk Class (Class I) and comply with the requirements of the European Regulation 745/2017 and where appropriate, the standards and legislation referred to.

WARRANTY

  • The product code 0810616 is guaranteed for a period of one (1) year from the purchasing date.
  • The product code 0808491 is guaranteed for a period of two (2) years from the purchasing date.
  • The warranty covers factory defects & DOES NOT cover damages resulting from misuse, poor maintenance, modification, overuse or non-compliance with the product’s operating instructions. Also DOES NOT cover the parts that can wear out during use or over time, like the upholstery, wheels, brakes or other plastic parts.
  • Damages or defects caused by natural disasters, unauthorized maintenance or repair, supply problems (where applicable), carriers are not covered by the warranty.
  • No service or spare part is covered unless it has been inspected by an authorized service department or the manufacturer of the product. Shipping costs for goods of warranty are to be paid by the user- customer or by dealer.

ANNEX A SPECIFICATIONS- DIMENSIONS

ASSEMBLY

  • The Rollatos are delivered assembled & ready to use. We may need to assemble the handle part.
  • The product that you have in your hands may differ from the one in the following photos. The assembly process is similar.

Unfold the Rollator:

  1. Hold the product and make sure that all four wheels are stable on the ground.
  2. Push the steel rod downwards to unfold the product.
  3. When the side braces are in a straight line the product is completely unfolded.
  4. Lower the seat to the correct position.

Adjusting the handle height

  1. Insert the handles into the special notches. Fit the handle tube with the main frame tube.
  2. Secure the handles, to the desired height, by tightening the washer or handle (depending on the model).

Folding the Rollator:

  1. Flip up the seat.
  2. Lift up from the steel rod or the side braces, upwards to fold the product.

Mounting the basket

  1. Attach the basket C on the attachment hooks. or place it under the seat, according the model you have.

Using the hand brakes

  1. Apply the running brakes by pulling both brake handles A upwards.
  2. To apply the parking brakes, press the brake handles A completely downwards. You will hear a sound that indicates the brake is in the correct position.
  3. To release the parking brakes, pull the brake handles upwards.
  4. In case of poor brake effect, the adjustment of the brake must be done by qualified personnel.
