Please check the trap as below two steps: 1.Please separate the top and bottom and check the sensor posts as below picture. Check to see if too much bait or any other obstruction is covering the sensors. Then clean the posts, make sure no dirt or debris is covering the sensor system. 2.Wash the bottom enclosure metal plates with water, and use some detergent if necessary. This will remove any urine the rodent may have left on the trap’s metal plate. The urine conducts electricity to cause the red and green light problem. 3.Dry the trap completely, under sunshine or blow by hairdryer if necessary. Re-assemble and tum on the trap, Ensure proper working order has been restored.

Q16: After placing there for few days, no mouse entered into the trap.

A: One of our clients suggested the following method for training mouse to enter into the trap: “I take the time to train the rat to go in. With the trap set to OFF: First I put a small amount of food near the entrance. Once they eat that | put a small amount of food near the entrance and first plate. When they have eaten that I put a small amount of food near the entrance and middle plate. When they have eaten that I put a small amount of food near the entrance, the bait dish and a very small amount just in front of the bait dish. When they have eaten that I put a small amount of food near the entrance, the bait dish and a very small amount just in front of the bait dish (two sunflower seeds). I turn the trap ON and by the next morning I've got a dead rat. A little patience goes a long way. It helps if the bait is something they really like. They love my bird's food, mixed seeds. They seem to like safflower & sunflower seeds the best.”

A: Please contact us to replace the part bitten by the rats.

A: The battery compartment should be kept away from direct sunlight especially in summer to prevent the heat rising very high and causing plastic deformation.

A: Please first check if the batteries are installed correctly. There is +- marking in the battery compartment. Second, check the metal contact plates and ensure they are clean and not dirty. If still couldn't solve the problem, then please contact us to solve the problem for you.
