TIPS & HINTS FOR FOOD PROCESSOR

SLICER AND GRATER ATTACHMENTS

  1. Place the pillar and bowl onto the motor base.
  2. Put the slicer blade on the slicer support or the grater blade onto the grater support. Insert the lid.
  3. Put the feed tube onto the bowl and turn it clockwise.
  4. Insert whole foods (such as a block of cheese) into the feed tube. Insert the pusher into the feed tube with one hand; with the other press the large, easy-push pulse button.
CAUTION : Never put your fingers into the feed tube.

NOTE:

Use fresh ingredients.
Don’t cut food too small. Fill the width of the feed tube fairly full.
This prevents the food from slipping sideways during processing.
When using the chopper disc, place ingredients horizontally.
When slicing or shredding: food placed upright comes out shorter than food placed horizontally
There will always be a small amount of waste on the plate or in the bowl after processing.

WARNING : This product is equipped with a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Never use the plug with an extension cord unless you can fully insert the plug into the extension cord. Do not alter the plug. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug.
