Replace the cap on the detector pen immediately after use. False readings can result if the pen tip is left exposed for more than a minute or two. This product is highly effective if used correctly, but is not guaranteed to detect 100% of counterfeit tones. Simple to use. Make a small mark onUS currency. A clear/amber mark indicates genuine US currency paper.
A dark mark means the bill is probably counterfeit. Since currency paper stock is not available to the public, Dri Mark’s special ink authenticates the paper’s stock by color.

The UV Light

For maximum protection against loss due to counterfeiting. Two effective tests in one convenient pocket-sized unit. The powerful UV light will test thousands of bills. Button cell batteries are included, and easy to replace. This product is highly effective if used correctly, but is not guaranteed to detect 100% of counterfeit notes.

FOREIGN CURRENCY:
The UV light is excellent for testing the currencies of most countries.
EURO:
Small colorful fibers will glow under UV light.
BRITISH POUND:
Small fibers will glow under UV light,
CANADIAN DOLLAR:
Directly on the portrait of the Queen, the bill denomination will glow in multi-colors under UV light.
