Detector installation

Friendly reminder: This accessory has nothing to do with waterproofing, and is only suitable for special needs when the sensing angle is very narrow; After installation, the sensing angle is small, which may not recognize fast- passing objects

Function and Use

Battery and power

  • How to open the battery cover of the detector: Open the battery cover of the detector with the package including the ejector tool, Install 2 alkaline batteries, and then the indicator light of the detector will flash to indicate batteries were successfully ‘installed. When the infrared detector is turned on the power switch, the LED indicator light will breathe about 5 times, preheat for about 15-20 seconds, and then it can be tested normally
  • How to power on the receiver: Install a 3 AA alkaline battery into the receiver, the receiver will flash a colorful indicator light and make a “du” sound first, and then ring the power-on prompt sound to enter the power-on state; To turn the receiver off/on, short press the power button and you will hear the on/off prompt sound.
  • The receiver can also be powered by a 5V Micro USB power supply. Battery power will be automatically disconnected if you plug the power supply, and it will be reconnected when the power supply IS cut off.
  • Ensure the positive and negative polarity of batteries are correct. It is recommended to use alkaline batteries. If other batteries are, the standby time will be shorter and the sound will become quieter.

Turn on/off the indicator light of the detector (Figure 6)

  • The indicator light of the detector can be turned on/off. If you need to conceal the detector and want to turn off the sensor indicator, please do the following steps:
  • Open the battery cover and install batteries, long press the hidden setting hole as shown in the figure with the ejector pin. If the LED in the hole flashes twice quickly, it means that the sensor indicator is turned on; if the LED in the hole keeps on once, it means the sensor indicator is off.

Installation and Shakedown test

  • It is recommended to install the detector with screws.
  • To reduce false alarms, please do not place the detector in direct sunlight, do not put the PIR sensor in a place with strong air convection, and do not place the PIR sensor aimed at objects that move by wind(such as leaves, clothes, curtains)
  • This sensor passively detects the human body surface temperature of about 34 degrees or the change amount of the infrared signal released by the car engine and air conditioner.
  • Please refer to (Image 4) to adjust the direction of the detector.

How does the motion sensor work?

  • If people, animals, or vehicles pass in front of the detector sensor, they will be detected by microwave radar first, and the blue indicator lights on, then they will be sensed by the infrared sensor, and the red indicator lights on to display purple light ( blue + red-purple).
  • At this time, the wireless signal is immediately transmitted to the receiver and the receiver makes sounds
    • Note: After batteries are installed, the test cannot be performed until the warm-up is over and the breathing light stops flashing
  • If people, animals, or vehicles pass by the detector sensor from the side or behind or don’t enter the infrared detection range, they will be only detected by microwave radar and the blue indicator lights on, but no wireless signal Will be transmitted to trigger the receiver.
  • If a special environmental factor triggers the infrared sensor by mistake, the red light will light up and no wireless signal will be er the receiver transmit to trigger the receiver
  • Research shows the combined feature of infrared sensors and microwave radar can dramatically reduce the false alarm rate of detectors when outdoor use
  • The receiver is recommended to be placed on the desktop with a receiver stand base, which is convenient and flexible to move; it can also be mounted on the wall with screws.
  • After installation, press the power button to power on the receiver, test the wireless transmission distance, adjust the detection angle of the detector, and repeatedly test to ensure the receiver makes sounds when oeoole oas

Use and operation

  • Please know receiver and PIR sensor were paired when you received them.
    • Press the I button to power on or off. It sounds like the selected tone vibrates to indicate it in power on status, and it sounds like the power-off prompt tone to indicate its power off.
    • Press the button to adjust the volume level. It has 5 volume levels including the silent vibration warning. (Two vibration modes that can be switched by pressing the ( button)
    • Press the button to select the ringtone.
    • It can’t be raised after reaching the top, and can’t be lowered after reaching the bottom.

Add transmitters

(PIR detector/magnetic sensor/doorbell button/remote) You can add more PIR sensors/magnetic sensors/doorbell buttons/remotes. See Figure 9 about how to pair.
Note: The receiver has 4 different color zones, each color zone can program up to 8 transmitters.

  • So one receiver can add up to 32 transmitters. If the current color zone is over 8 transmitters, the latter transmitters will cover the former.
  • When the transmitter is triggered the corresponding color will flash, it allows you to quickly distinguish which transmitter is triggered.
  • One receiver can add up to 8 remotes. If over 8 remotes, the latter remote will cover the former.
  • The remote does not occupy color zones, ignore the receiver indicator light color when paired with the remote.Greencycle-KS-SF30R-Long-Range-Split-Driveway-Alarm-Pro-fig-1 \(15\)
  • Triggered the transmitter for pairing, then the receiver’s LED light flashes once and it makes a “du” sound to instate the successful pairing.
  • Only one transmitter can be paired at a time. The next time pairing, the indicator light will light up in the next color, the color order is red—green—blue—white.
  • When repairing the paired PIR detector, the color zone will not change, but the ringtone can be changed.

Delete all transmitters

Operation with caution!

Low Battery Alert

  • If the detector battery is low, the detector indicator light will flash every 3 seconds no matter if the indicator I get is in on or off status, and it will send a low battery message to the receiver. Replace new alkaline battery in time
  • If the receiver battery is low, it will make a low battery alert when power is on or the mode switch, replace the new battery in time; If the receiver battery is very low, all functions will not work but make a low battery alert, replace new battery in time
  • Replace the remote’s battery if the wireless range is reduced or the indicator light is dark.
