Product Usage Instructions

Installing Batteries

  1. Using a Phillips screwdriver (not included), remove the battery cover on the Laser Blaster.
  2. Insert 3 AAA (1.5V) batteries into the Laser Blaster, following the polarity markings inside the battery compartment.
  3. Replace the battery door and securely screw it closed.

Game Play

  1. Select your team by sliding the Team Selector switch to the desired team.
  2. To access multi-colour teams, switch to the Ultra Mode.
  3. Blaster Colour Change : To customize the team colour combination of your Blaster, select the Neutral Setting on your Blaster. Then turn the Colour Change Dial to select the desired team colour combination. Note that you cannot change the team colour combination during the game.
  4. Blaster Reload : Pull the Quick Slide Reload back to reload, and then release it. Each reload gives you 10 blasts, and you can reload at any time during the game.

During Game Play

  • If you are hit by an opponent’s blast, the Hit Indicator on your Receiver will flash, and the game life indicator will change from Green to Red.
  • To get one hit back, turn your Blaster OFF and re-select your team to start a new game.
  • Tips : Use the walls and mirrors to hit your opponent. Leaving your Blaster in any of the team settings will drain the batteries. If your Blaster stops working, replace the batteries with brand new ones.

  • Q: Is Laser X safe for children?
    A: Laser X is safe for children ages 6 and above. However, adult supervision is required.

  • Q: Can Laser X be played outdoors?
    A: Yes, Laser X can be played outdoors. However, do not play Laser X in streets, parking lots, or anywhere near moving cars or other vehicles.

  • Q: Are the flashes produced by Laser X safe?
    A: The toy produces flashes that may trigger epilepsy in sensitized individuals. Please exercise caution while using the product.

BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION

  • Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the Laser Blaster before being charged.
  • Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
  • Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed.
  • Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended are to be used.
  • Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity (+ and –).
  • Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the Laser Blaster.
  • The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
  • Keep instruction sheet for reference since it contains important information.
  • Do not mix old and new batteries.
  • Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.
  • Alkaline Battery is Recommended.

Installing Batteries

  • Insert 3 AAA (1.5V) batteries into Laser Blaster as shown.
  • Replace the battery door and screw it securely closed after installing batteries.

To access multi-colour teams, switch to can hit any other team colour but can NOT be hit by their own team colour.

Ultra Mode (blaster cycles through ALL colours) is the first colour combination in and can hit and be hit by every team including other players playing in Ultra Mode.

Blaster Colour Change

  • To Customize the team colour combination of your Blaster, Select the Neutral Setting on your Blaster.
  • Turn the Colour Change Dial to select the team colour combination you want.
  • You can’t change team colour combination during game.

Blaster Reload

  • Each reload gives you 10 blasts.
  • You can reload at any time.

Scoring Hits

  • Blast your opponent’s Blaster’s Receiver.
  • The more accurate your shot, the more likely of scoring a hit BUT the Receiver is designed to register hits on most of a player’s body front.

During Game Play

  • Blasters can hit Receiver up to 90 m away.
  • When hit, the Team Colour of the player that hit you will flash on your receiver and then the game life indicator will change from Green to Red.
  • 8 Hits and you are out.
  • For each minute you are not hit, you automatically get one hit “back”.
  • When you are out, you must turn your Blaster OFF and re-select your team to start a new game.

Tips

  • Very bright sunlight will decrease Laser Blast Range.
  • Indoors, Laser Blaster beams can be bounced off walls and mirrors to hit your opponent.
  • You can blast through windows.
  • Turn your Laser X Gear to OFF when not in use. Leaving it in any of the team settings will drain batteries.
  • If your Laser X Gear is not working properly, replace the batteries with BRAND NEW batteries.

Be a Good Sport

  •  Don’t cover your Blaster’s Receiver or hide it.
  • Don’t reset your Blaster during play.
