WARNING

• To prevent electrocution, do not work on any appliance live. Turn off the mains supply before commencing work.

• To prevent fire hazard do not exceed the load rating of this device as stated on the rear of the product.

• The minimum box depth (flat faceplates) required is 25mm.

• If this product has a metal front plate it must be earthed.

• Use with dimmable LED, CFL bulbs, Incandescent or halogen fixtures only.

• When multiple bulbs are used with one dimmer DO NOT mix bulb types. All bulbs shall be either LED, CFL or
  Incandescent. Using the same model of each bulb will enhance dimmer performance.

• Waste electrical products should not be disposed of with the household waste. Please recycle where facilities exist. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for recycling advice.

SETTINGS

1. Minimum Brightness Setting
   Method 1 manual
   Step 1: Turn on the light, short press the knob twice, then long press for 3 seconds for the 3rd time. When the light is automatically adjusted to the minimum brightness, it shows that the dimmer has entered min brightness mode*.
   Step 2: Rotate the knob to adjust to the required brightness level and short press the knob to save the settings.

• Min brightness mode activates for 60 seconds only.
  Method 2-in-app
  Step 1: Open the Tuya App. Tap the connected dimmer icon. Turn the lights on, tap the “ ” settings icon.
  Step 2: Touch the “ ” padlock icon to unlock the current setting. Adjust brightness settings to the requried level.
  Step 3: Touch the “ ” padlock icon to save the current settings.

  2. Dimming Mode Setting
     The dimmer is pre-set to operate in trailing edge dimming mode. Follow the below steps if a leading mode is required.
     Step 1: Turn lights on. Short press the knob 4 times and long press for 3 seconds the 5th time. The lights will FLASH 5 times indicating that the Leading edge mode is on.
     Step 2: To switch back into the trailing edge mode, short press the knob 3 times and long press for 3 second the 4th time. The lights will FLASH 3 times indicating that the Trailing edge mode is activated.

  3. Connect TUYA Mobile App
     Step 1: Download Tuya Smart from App Store > Log In or Sign Up > Follow in-app prompts to complete the logon process
     Step 2: Ensure Bluetooth and WIFI is enabled on your phone. Tap ‘+’ > Add Device to enable Auto Scan function.
     Step 3: Turn the lights on, press and hold the knob. The lights will FLASH twice indicating the pairing mode is on.
     Step 4: Follow in-app prompts on your phone to complete the pairing process

  4. Voice Control Setup (Optional)

Google Assistant
Step 1: Open the google home app and sign in to your google account.
Step 2: Tap+ and select Set Up Device > Have Something Already Set Up?
Step 3: Select Tuya Smart from the list or type Tuya smart in the search bar.
Step 4: Type in your App login details.
Step 5 : Tap Link Now > Authorise.

Amazon Alexa

Step 1. Open the Amazon Alexa app and sign in to your Alexa account.
Step 2: Tap More > Skills & Games.
Step 3: Search for Tuya Smart and tap ‘enable’,

GUARANTEE

This product is guaranteed for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The guarantee is invalid in the case of tampering, improper use or installation not in accordance with the current edition of the I.E.E. Wiring Regulations (BS 7671). This product must not have been overloaded beyond its rating. It must only have been used on a 200-240-Volt supply. Should this product fail during the guarantee period it will be replaced free of charge, subject to correct installation and return of the faulty unit. Samotech does not accept responsibility for any installation costs associated with replacement of this product. Your statutory rights are not affected. Samotech reserve the right to alter specifications without prior notice.
