Product Usage Instructions
- Download and install the APP
- Scan the code to install
- To download and install the UBOXAPP, follow these steps:
- Open the app or browser and scan the QR code provided below. This will initiate the download and installation process.
- App Market Installation
- If you are using an Android phone, search for “UBOX” in the app store and install the app. For Apple phones, search for “UBOX” in the App Store and install the app.
- Add wifi camera

- To add a wifi camera to the UBOX app, follow these steps:
- Turn on the camera power and wait for the camera to issue a configuration status voice prompt. The indicator light should be flashing blue.
- Open the UBOX app and click on “Add Smart Device” to enter the Install Device screen.
- Click on “Install WiFi Device” and follow the prompts to complete the device setup. (Refer to Figure 4 and Figure 5)

- Video Playback and Download
- Cloud Video Playback and Download
- To play back and download cloud videos, follow these steps:
- Click on the cloud video on the main page of the app.
- Click on the calendar icon in the upper right corner and select the date you want to play back the video. Click OK to enter the video playback page.
- Click on the desired period of the video to play it back. (Refer to Figure 6)
- To download a video, click on the selection button in the upper left corner, check the video you need, and then click on download. The downloaded video files can be viewed in the app’s album and on your mobile device. (Refer to Figure 7)
- TF card video playback and download
- To play back and download videos stored on the TF card, follow these steps:
- Enter the preview interface.
- Click on the Cloud/TF button at the bottom right corner of the image to switch to the TF card video.
- Click on the desired period of the video to play it back. (Refer to Figure 8)
- To download a video, click on the download button on the left of the video file. After the download is complete, the video file will be automatically saved in the app’s album and in your cell phone’s video library. (Refer to Figure 9)
- Cautions
- The battery time of the device will be affected by the device’s wake-up time and the number of wake-up calls. It is recommended to close or set the device to low sensitivity in crowded environments to extend the battery time.
- During installation, ensure that the installation environment has a normal network connection. A weak WiFi signal may result in abnormal image quality, especially for outdoor or door installations.
- This device is a low-power intelligent product and supports various wake-up methods. It will enter a hibernation state after working for a short time after each wake-up. The working time of the device can be set in the app menu.
- In mainland China, system push messages from Google cannot be received. To receive push notifications, make sure to turn on the self-start function of the app on your phone.
- The device provides one month of free cloud storage service. After the trial period expires, you can purchase value-added services within the app if you wish to continue using cloud storage.
- FAQ
- Q: What should I do if the camera’s battery life is short?
- A: The battery time of the device is affected by the wake-up time and the number of wake-up calls. To extend the battery life, it is recommended to close or reduce the sensitivity of the device’s human body sensor alarm detection function in crowded environments.
- Q: Why is the image quality not normal during installation?
- A: Please ensure that the installation environment has a normal network connection. Weak WiFi signals, especially for outdoor or door installations, can result in abnormal image quality.
- Q: How long does the device work after each wake-up?
- A: The device enters a hibernation state after working for a short time after each wake-up. You can set the working time of the device in the app menu.
- Q: Why am I not receiving system push messages from Google in mainland China?
- A: In mainland China, system push messages from Google cannot be received. To receive push notifications, make sure to turn on the self-start function of the app on your phone.
- Q: What happens after the one-month free cloud storage trial expires?
- A: After the trial period expires, you can purchase value-added services within the app if you wish to continue using cloud storage.

- Add camera
- Add 4G camera
- Insert the traffic card into the camera (if a traffic card is included in the factory, you can ignore this step).
- Power on the camera and wait for the device to enter the configuration state, enter the configuration state indicator shows “blue light is always on”.
- On the main page of UBOX App, click “Add Smart Device” or the “+” sign in the upper right corner to enter the “Install Device” interface. Click “Install 4G devices” and follow the instructions until the installation is completed (As shown in Figure 2, Figure 3).

- Click the cloud video on the main page, then click the calendar icon in the upper right corner, select the date you want to play back the video and then click OK to enter the video playback page, click the time period of the video to play back (Figure 6)
- Click the selection button in the upper left corner, check the video you need to download, and then click download (video files can be viewed in the APP album and mobile video) as shown in Figure 7.

- After entering the preview interface, click the “Cloud/TF” button at the bottom right corner of the image, switch to the TF card video, and click the video time period to play back (Figure 8)
- Click the download button on the left of the video file to download the video, after the download is complete, the video file will be automatically saved in the APP album and in the cell phone video (Figure 9)
- Cautions
- The device uses battery power, and the battery time will be affected by the device’s wake-up time and the number of wake-up calls, so the human body sensor alarm detection function, used in a crowded environment, is recommended to close or set the device to low sensitivity to reduce the number of device wake-up calls to extend the battery time.
- In the installation process, please ensure that the installation environment network is normal, especially outdoor or outside-the-door installation, if the WiFi signal is too weak, it may be caused by the image is not normal.
- This device is a low-power intelligent product, that can support APP remote wake-up, PIR body detection wake-up, and key wake-up, and will enter the hibernation state after working for a short time after each wake-up. The working time of the device can be set in the APP menu.
- Because the system push message from Google cannot be received in mainland China, you need to turn on the self-start function of the app in your phone.
- This device provides a one-month free cloud storage service, after the trial period expires, if you want to continue to use the value-added services, please purchase in the APP.
- After the WiFi device is powered on, you can hear the voice prompt “enter configuration status”, if there is no such prompt, please reset the device, after the reset, you can add the device by hearing the voice prompt.
- After the 4G device is powered on, observe the indicator light and add the device when the blue light is always on.
- WiFi version indicator status display: blue light blinking (configuration status), red light long (WiFi connection failure), blue light long (device connected successfully/working status), red and blue lights on at the same time (device is connecting to WiFi), red and blue lights off (power off or standby status).
- 4G version of the indicator status display: red light is long (network connection failure), blue light is long. (network connection success/work status)
