Product Overview
The Chime is a companion product to the SkyBell video doorbell. The Chime
connects via Wi-Fi to the home’s router and receives notifications from the
doorbell on the same wireless network. The Chime has a built-in speaker that
will notify the user of a doorbell button push or motion activity detected by
the doorbell. The Chime can then be placed at a location within the home that
can alert the user to these activities in cases where the traditional wall
mounted mechanical doorbell is out of audible range.
Various notification tones can be selected by using the SkyBell Mobile App.
The volume of the tones can be adjusted through the App as well. The SkyBell
logo on the front face of the Chime is illuminated by multi-color LEDs. The
LED color is user defined through the App. A custom color can be selected to
indicate a doorbell push and a motion detection.
