Product Usage Instructions

Before you begin planting:
If your pot has holes in the bottom, please be sure to place it on a saucer or tray large enough to encompass the bottom.

Planting Instructions:

  1. Prepare the planting media.
  2. Plant the bulb with approximately the top 1/3 of the bulb showing above the media surface.
  3. The media should be moist, and additional water should not be needed at this time.

Maintenance and Care:
Water regularly throughout the flowering period, ensuring that the media remains moist but not soggy. Avoid overwatering as it may lead to root rot.

After Flowering:
Once the flowering period is over, remove the flower stem just above the bulb. Continue to water the plant regularly.

  2. Once media has been prepared, plant bulb with approximately the top 1/3 of the bulb showing above the media surface. Media should be moist and additional water should not be needed at this time.
  3. Keep the amaryllis in a warm location (70-75°F), but not in direct sunlight.
  4. Water regularly throughout the flowering period. Keep the media moist but not soggy. DO NOT OVERWATER.
  5. After flowering, remove the flower stem just above the bulb and continue to water regularly.
  6. In the spring, plant outdoors and fertilize throughout the summer. After the first frost, dig the bulb up and store bulb in a cool dark place for at least 8 weeks. Then, repot the bulb and a new cycle will begin.
