WIFI FAN HEATER
The TCP Smart WiFi Fan Heater offers an efficient and quick heating solution
which is portable and easy to use. Control your heating exactly as you desire
either using the control panel situated on the heater or mobile phone using
the TCP Smart App and /or voice control via Alexa or Google hub.

IMPORTANT: Read these instructions fully before using the heater. Retain these instructions for future reference.
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
(to be read before operating the heater).
- Before using set the power-level switch which is located at the back of the heater to “I”. Please note: there may be a trace of odour during the first few minutes of initial use, or after a period of storage. This is normal and will quickly disappear.
- CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to be given where children and vulnerable people are present. Children 3 years and younger should be continually supervised when in close proximity to the heater. Children aged from 3 years to less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the appliance provided that it has been placed or installed in its intended normal operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in, regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
- Use this heater on a horizontal and stable surface.
- Keep the power cord away from the hot body of the heater.
- Indoor use only.
- Do not place the heater on carpets with a very deep pile.
- Do not place the heater close to curtains or furniture in order to avoid a fire hazard.
- Do not insert any object through the air grilles of the heater.
- Do not use the heater in areas where flammable liquids are stored or where flammable fumes may be present.
- Always unplug the heater when moving it from one location to another.
- Do not use this heater if it has been dropped;
- Do not use if there are visible signs of damage to the heater;
- Do not leave the heater switched on when your property is vacant
WARNINGS
- In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the heater.
- Always use the heater in an upright position.
- Do not use the heater to dry your laundry. Never obstruct the intake and outlet grilles to avoid the danger of overheating.
- Do not place it up against walls, furniture, curtains, etc.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, their service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or a swimming pool.

OPERATING THE HEATER
Note: It is normal when the heaters are turned on for the first time, or when
they are
turned on after a long period of time not being used, the heaters may emit
some smell and fumes. This will disappear when the heater has been on for a
short while.
Choose a suitable location for the heater, taking into account the safety instructions above. Insert the plug of the heater into a suitable socket.
MODE/ON/OFF BUTTON
Before using, set the power-level switch which is located at the back of the
heater to “I”.
Press the MODE/ON/OFF button located on the front of the fan once to start the
operating modes. The fan will automatically start on fan mode.
Press this button to select one of the 3 operating modes: Fan, Low Heat or
High Heat.
To turn the device off, press the MODE/ON/OFF button until the fan light is
lit. The fan will then begin a 30 second count down. When the 30 seconds have
counted down, the heater will turn off.
This feature can be performed using the TCP Smart App.
OSCILLATION
Press the swing button to activate or deactivate the oscillation function. When it is activated, the oscillation light indicator will turn on and air flow will be moved from left to right.
This feature can be performed using the TCP Smart App.
TIMER BUTTON
Press the timer button repeatedly to increase the operating time by 1-hour intervals. The time can be set from 1 to 12 hours. To cancel the timer, press the timer button repeatedly until the 00 is displayed.
This feature can be performed using the TCP Smart App.
TEMPERATURE BUTTON
Press the temperature button repeatedly to increase the room temperature, from 15 to 40°C. Once the temperature is set, the digits will flash for 3 seconds and then the display will show the current room temperature. The device will then work to achieve the desired temperature. The device has a safety tilt switch, which will turn the device off.
This feature can be performed using the TCP Smart App.
CLEANING THE HEATER
Always un-plug the heater from the wall socket and allow it to cool down before cleaning. Clean the outside of the heater by wiping with a damp cloth and buff with a dry cloth. Do not use any detergents or abrasives and do not allow any water to enter the heater.
STORING THE HEATER
When the heater is not used for long period of time it should be protected from dust and stored in a clean dry place.
CORRECT DISPOSAL OF THIS PRODUCT
WARRANTY INFORMATION
The manufacturer provides warranty in accordance with the legislation of the customer’s own country of residence, with a minimum of 1 year, starting from the date on which the appliance is sold to the end user.
The warranty only covers defects in material or workmanship.
The repairs under warranty may only be carried out by an authorized service centre. When making a claim under the warranty, the original bill of purchase (with purchase date) must be submitted. The warranty will not apply in cases of:
- Normal wear and tear
- Incorrect use, e.g. overloading of the appliance, use of non-approved accessories
- Use of force, damage caused by external influences
- Damage caused by non-observance of the user manual, e.g. connection to an unsuitable mains supply or non-compliance with the installation instructions
- Partially or completely dismantled appliances.

CONNECTING THE APPLIANCE TO WI-FI

To control the heater using the TCP Smart App the unit must be turned on.
Before you get started you will need the following:
- Smart device such as a mobile phone or tablet
- Access to the Google or Apple App store, log on and passwords
- The name of your Wi-Fi network and password to your Wi-Fi network
- Confirm your home Wi-Fi router is running on 2.4Ghz and not 5Ghz. If you are unsure, please consult your broadband provider for details on how to change the settings.
- Turn off any Wi-Fi extenders during set up
- Check you do not have any limitations on the number of devices with your broadband provider

With the heater turned on, hold down the On/Off button until it beeps and the LED light above the button blinks quickly, the device is now in paring mode. In the TCP Smart App, enter your WiFi password and follow the instructions in the App to connect.

SWITCH
ON / OFF
Press Switch to turn heater on and off remotely.
Set Target Temperature by using + or – buttons.
MODES
Press Mode for options, one mode can be selected at any one time. Press
selected mode once to activate.
COOL
Press Mode. Press Cool to activate the cool mode.
Set Target Temperature by using + or – buttons.
LOW HEAT
Press Mode. Press Low Heat Mode to activate.
Set Target Temperature by using + or – buttons.
HIGH HEAT
Press Mode. Press High Heat Mode to activate.
Set Target Temperature by using + or – buttons.
AUTO
Press Mode. Press Auto Mode to activate.
Set Target Temperature by using + or – buttons.
TIMER
Using the Timer function, the heater can be set to turn off after a specified amount of time. Choose Timer at the bottom of the screen, select the duration of time that you want the heating to stay on for. The heater will turn off after the selected amount of time has passed.

Press Settings. Slide oscillation button to right to
activate. Slide to left to deactivate.

SCHEDULE
In settings operate the schedule by pressing the Schedule > button. Press Add
button.
To add just one occurrence select the time you want to start the heater, press
Switch and select on. Press Done followed by Save.
Select the time you want the heater to turn off, press Switch and select off.
Press Done followed by Save.
WEEKLY SCHEDULE
To turn the heater on for specific day(s) and time(s).
Press repeat to show days of the week. Tick the day(s) of the week you want
the heater
to turn on.
Press < button on top left hand of the screen. To receive a notification to your phone to alert when the schedule has activated, before saving press Notification.
Select the time you want the heater to start. Press Switch.
Press on followed by Done. Press Save.
To turn the heater off, press the repeat button to show the list of days.
Tick the same day(s) you selected to turn the heater on.
Press the < button on top left hand of the screen.
Select the time you want the heater to turn off.
Press Switch followed by off.
Press Done followed by Save.
This screen will list the times and dates you have selected to turn the heater
on and off.
Press < button to return to the previous screen.
