  • The following precautions are intended to prevent injury to you and others. Before you start using this product, be sure to understand and follow these precautions.

  • Warning: Follow these warnings to prevent death or serious injury.

To avoid fire, overheating, chemical leakage, explosion, and electric shock, please follow the following safety precautions:

  • Do not use any batteries, power supplies, or accessories other than those specified in the instructions. Do not use homemade batteries or modified batteries, and do not use them if the product is broken.
  • Do not short-circuit, disassemble, or modify the battery. Do not heat or weld batteries. Do not allow the battery to come into contact with fire or water. Do not expose the battery to a strong physical impact.
  • Do not insert the positive and negative battery terminals in reverse.
  • Do not charge the battery at a temperature beyond the allowable charging (operating) temperature range. In addition, do not exceed the charging time indicated in the instruction manual.
  • Do not replace the battery without permission.

Even if the product does not feel too hot, prolonged contact with the same body part may cause skin redness or blistering due to low-temperature contact burns. A tripod is recommended when using the product in very hot places, or for people with circulation problems or dull skin sensation.
  • When products or accessories are not in use, be sure to keep the device turned off and unplug the charging plug. This is to prevent electric shock, overheating, fire and corrosion.
  • Do not use this device in an environment with flammable gases to avoid explosion or fire. If the shell of the device is broken and internal parts are exposed, do not touch the exposed internal parts. Otherwise, there is zero chance of electric shock.   • After this product is installed on the tripod, do not carry it to move, otherwise it may cause injury or accident. Please also confirm the tripod can firmly support the body of the product.
  • Do not leave this product in a low-temperature environment for a long time. The temperature of this product will decrease and may cause injury when touched damages or damage the screen.
  • When using audio playback, do not change the sound recording Settings. Otherwise, the monitoring sound of the headset may suddenly increase, which may damage your hearing.

Product maintenance

  • This product is a precision instrument, do not drop it or expose it to physical impact.
  • This product is not waterproof and cannot be used underwater.
  • If there is water on the product, wipe it with a clean dry cloth. If there is dirt, dust, or salt on the product, wipe it with a clean, damp cloth that is wrung out.
  • Using the product in an area with a lot of dirt or dust may cause a malfunction.
  • It is recommended to clean the product immediately after use. If there is dirt, dust, water, or salt on the product, it may cause failure.
  • If the product accidentally falls into water or is concerned that moisture, dirt, dust, or salt may enter the product, please consult the product customer service center immediately.
  • When using products near objects with strong radio waves or placing products near such objects, such as large antennas, strong magnetic fields may cause product misoperation or destroy audio and video data.
  • Do not place this product in a place where the temperature is too high, such as in a car in direct sunlight. High temperatures may cause product failure.
  • There are precision electronic circuits in the product, do not disassemble the product yourself.
  • If the product suddenly enters a warm room from a low temperature, it may cause condensation on the surface of the product and its internal parts. To prevent condensation, put the product in a sealed plastic bag first, and then take it out of the bag after the temperature gradually rises.
  • If the product appears dew, do not use, so as not to damage the product. If there is condensation, do not turn on the device immediately to avoid device failure or battery fire or explosion caused by short circuit. Wait until the condensation evaporates before using the product.
  • If the product is not used for a long time, please place the product in a dry and cool place with good ventilation. During storage, please charge the product once in a while to confirm the service life of the lithium battery and the normal operation of the product.
  • Avoid storing products in chemical laboratories and other places where there are chemicals that cause rust and corrosion.
  • If you have not used the product for a long time, test all functions before use. If you have not used the product for a while or if there is an important scenario to use (such as going abroad), please have the after-sales technician assist you in checking the product or you check the product yourself and make sure it works properly.
  • If the product is reused for a long time, real-time display or audio and video data transmission, the product may become hot, which is not a fault.
Liquid crystal display instructions
  • Although the LCD screen is manufactured with very high precision technology, its effective pixels are as high as 99.99% or more, but 0.01% or less of the pixels may have bad spots, there may be black, red, or other color spots, and bad spots are not faults. Bad spots do not affect your output of video images.
  • If the LCD screen is left on for a long time, there may be a screen shadow phenomenon, which is to see the residual image of the displayed image on the screen. However, this condition is only temporary, and after a few days of not using the device, it will disappear.
  • The LCD may display slower at low temperatures and darker at high temperatures, and it will return to normal at room temperature.

Memory card usage instructions

  • To protect the memory card and recorded data from corruption, please note the following.
  • Do not drop, bend, or get wet the memory card. Do not apply excessive force to it, so that it is subject to physical impact or vibration.
  • Do not touch the electronic contacts of the memory card with your fingers or any metal objects.
  • Do not paste any stickers etc on the memory card.
  • Do not store or use memory cards near anything with a strong magnetic field, such as televisions, speakers, or magnets. Also, avoid places that are prone to static electricity
  • Do not expose the memory card to sunlight or close to heat sources.
  • Do not store the memory card in the product card slot for a long time.
  • Do not store memory cards in hot, dusty, or humid environments.
  • If it is a new memory card or a memory card that was previously formatted (initialized) with another device or computer, use this product to format that memory card.

Charger, battery instructions

  • This product can be used for chargers that meet the corresponding national or regional standards and are compatible with the PD3.0 fast charge protocol. (It is recommended to use a charger with a power of 45W and above to charge, and the charger with a smaller power will fail during the process of charging and using the product, which is caused by the smaller power of the charger, not equipment failure or battery failure)
  • Fully charging a fully drained battery at room temperature (23°C) takes about 4 hours and 30 minutes. The time required to charge the battery varies greatly depending on the ambient temperature and the remaining battery power.
  • Charging during use will make the charging time longer.
  • For safety reasons, charging at low temperatures (5°C – 10°C) takes longer (up to about 6 hours).
  • The battery was not fully charged at the time of purchase.
  • Charge the product battery before use.
  • Charge the product the day before or on the same day you use it.
  • Even during storage, a charged battery will gradually discharge and lose its charge.
  • After charging, remove the charger from the power socket in time
  • Chargers compatible with the protocol can also be used abroad. The charger input power supply is compatible with 100 V AC to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz power supply.
  • If necessary, please install the plug charger available in the corresponding country or region. Do not install any portable transformer to the charger, otherwise it will damage the charger.
  • If the battery is quickly depleted after a full charge, the battery has reached the end of its useful life. Contact the manufacturer or seller to purchase a new battery.
  • After unplugging the charger, do not touch the plug for about 10 seconds.

Setting Up YoloBox Ultra

  1. CAPTURE
    • Capturing is the process of taking the signals from your video and audio sources and encoding them so they’re ready for streaming and recording.

    • YoloBox Ultra supports all SD file types including FAT32,exFAT, and NTFS with less than 1TB of storage. If the SD card is not detected, it should be a compatibility issue. Try a different brand or report it to us via contact@yololiv.com.

    • YoloBox Ultra supports a charger with DC 5V/9V/12V/15V 3A output.
  4. Why my camera is not recognized by YoloBox Ultra?
    • YoloBox Ultra works with most video cameras on the market, particularly well with Sony and Panasonic, JVC.If your camera is not recognized by YoloBox Ultra, here are a few workarounds to try out:
    • Try a different cable
    • Check if it’s an issue with the HMDI IN ports by connecting a single HDMI cable with both HDMI IN and HDMI OUT ports.
    • Switch the camera output setting from 1080i to 1080P ·Try an HDMI-UBS splitter/converter.
    • Or if you happen to have a switcher like ATEM Mini, you can use ATEM to recognize the signal first and then output it to YoloBox Ultra.
