Product Usage Instructions

  1. Step 1: Remove broken or damaged parts from cooler
    Before starting the installation process, ensure that any broken or damaged parts are removed from the cooler.

  2. Step 2: Place pump inside the mesh pump basket
    Take the pump and place it inside the mesh pump basket (C). Make sure that the cooler pan is free of aspen, rust, and other particles.

  3. Step 3: Thread water distributor adapter into distributor head
    Take the water distributor adapter (D) and thread it into the distributor head securely.

  4. Step 4: Attach pump hose using ring clamps
    Take the ring clamps (F) and place them onto each end of the pump hose (E). Attach one end of the pump hose onto the pump outlet and the other end onto the water distributor adapter.

  5. Step 5: Reposition ring clamps
    Reposition the ring clamps onto the pump adapter and water distributor adapter to prevent the hose from loosening.

Step 6: Install drain bushing and overflow pipe
To install the drain bushing and overflow pipe (B), follow these steps

  • Thoroughly clean the area around the drain hole of the cooler.
  • Place the rubber washer onto the drain bushing.
  • Insert the drain bushing through the cooler drain hole.
  • Attach the nut securely to the drain bushing without applying excessive force with a wrench.
  • Add Teflon tape to the overflow pipe threads to create a watertight seal.
  • Screw the overflow pipe into the drain bushing without applying excessive force.

Step 7: Install float valve
To install the float valve (A), follow these steps

  • Place the float valve body fitting through the mounting bracket hole or the hole provided by the cooler manufacturer.
  • Place the washer and nut onto the float valve body fitting and tighten the nut.
  • Connect the water supply using poly or copper tubing:

Poly Tube

  1. Cut the end of the tube square to ensure a proper fit.
  2. Place the nut and sleeve onto the poly tube.
  3. If using poly tubing, insert the poly tube adapter into the end of the tube.
  4. Tighten the nut with a wrench.

Step 10: Optional – Use Pump Hose Restrictor Clamp
If desired, you can use the pump hose restrictor clamp (G) to regulate water flow to the pads and eliminate excess water from overflowing the pad trough.

NOTE : ALL WIRING MUST BE IN ACCORDANCE WITH COOLER MANUFACTURERS’ SPECIFICATIONS AND ALL APPLICABLE BUILDING AND ELECTRICAL CODES. PUMP MUST BE SECUREDTO COOLER WITH MOUNTING BRACKET

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Remove broken or damaged parts from cooler.

  2. Place pump inside the mesh pump basket (C). Cooler pan should be free of aspen, rust and other particles.

  3. Thread water distributor adapter (D) into distributor head.

  4. Place ring clamps (F) onto each end of pump hose (E).

  5. Attach pump hose onto pump outlet and onto water distributor adapter.

  6. Reposition ring clamps onto pump adapter and water distributor adapter to prevent hose from loosening.

  7. Install drain bushing and overflow pipe (B): a. Thoroughly clean area around drain hole of cooler. b. Place rubber washer onto drain bushing. c. Insert drain bushing through cooler drain hole, as shown. d. Attach nut securely
    to drain bushing without applying excessive force with wrench. e. Add Teflon tape to overflow pipe threads to create water tight seal. Screw overflow pipe into drain bushing without applying excessive force.

  8. Install float valve (A): a. Place float valve body fitting through mounting bracket hole, or through hole provided by cooler manufacturer. b. Place washer and nut onto float valve body fitting. Tighten nut. c. Connect water
    supply using poly or copper tubing:

  9. Cut the end of the tube square to ensure proper fit.

  10. Place nut and sleeve onto poly tube.

  11. If using poly tubing, insert poly tube adapter into end of tube.

  12. Tighten nut with a wrench.

  13. Fill cooler pan with water to about ½” below the height of the pipe. Set proper water level by adjusting (moving or bending) float valve arm.

  14. Optional: Place (G) Pump Hose Restrictor Clamp on pump hose to regulate water flowing to pads and eliminate excess water from overflowing pad trough.
