THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING RAYA
Raya’s Triple Crossbar Background System makes it easy to use three backgrounds at the same time. It supports seamless paper rolls measuring 53 inches to 9.8 feet long. This background support is easy to set up. and it’s ideal for shooting portraits of people and pets. and product photography.
PRECAUTIONS
- Please read and follow these instructions, and keep this manual in a safe place.
- Clean the unit with only a soft, dry cloth.
- Make sure this product is intact and that there are no missing parts.
- Do not exceed the maximum load capacity of each crossbar.
- It is recommended to use a sandbag around the base of each stand for added stability.
- All images are for illustrative purposes only.

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS

Select one light stand and turn the leg locking knob counters-clockwise to unlock the legs. Spread the leg struts until they are parallel to the floor. Tighten the leg locking knob clockwise until secure.

Attach the triple bracket to the top of the stand, and insert the threaded post through the bracket’s hole.

For the second stand, repeat steps 1 and 2. Make sure both stands have the same height and leg width.

Place the stands where you want the backdrop to hang.
Make sure the background system s steady and in position before adding the backdrops.
Note: It’s recommended to secure the legs of the stands with sandbags or weighted bags. -
Assemble one crossbar by inserting crossbar A’s locking pegs into crossbar B’s peg holes Twist the two bars until the pegs click into place through the holes Repeat this step for the other crossbars.
INSTALLING A BACKGROUND
Warning
Do not exceed the crossbar weight limit of 121, Weight should be evenly
distributed over the crossbar. It is necessary to remove the wing nut and one
washer from each threaded post.
Seamless paper backgrounds:
- Slide the paper roll over the crossbar, and fit the crossbar onto the threaded post on each side.
- Oneachside, place the second washer over the crossbar. Replace the wing nut. and tighten it until secure.
- Pull down the background paper to the desired length. Secure the paper with gaffer tape or clamps.
Cloth Backgrounds:
- slide the crossbar into the looped hem at the top of the cloth background. If your fabric doesn’t have a looped hem, secure the background to the crossbar with clamps o tape.
- Mount the crossbar onto the threaded post on each side.
- Oneachside, place the second washer over the crossbar. Replace the wing nut on each side and tighten it until secure.
ADJUSTING THE HEIGH’T
Note: It is recommended that two people perform this next instruction.
Adjust the stand’s height by loosening the height locking knabs, starting with
the lowest knob

Watch your fingers when raising and lowering the stands.
Important!
Always support the riser section directly above the locking knob with your
free hand while loosening o tightening with the other. Each section is spring
cushioned and helps protect anything ‘mounted to the stand in case the riser
section is loose and inadvertently drops down.

defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of
one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after
replacement. whichever occurs later. The warranty provider’s responsibility
with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or
replacement, at the provider’s discretion. of any product that fails during
normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended
environment. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by
the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued. the warranty
provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality
and function.
This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect.
accident, alteration. abuse. improper installation or maintenance. EXCEPT AS
PROVIDED HEREIN. THE WARRANTY PROVIDER MAKES NEITHER ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES
NOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES. INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY
OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty provides
you with specific legal rights. and you may also have additional rights that
vary from state to state.
To obtain warranty coverage. contact the Raya Customer Service
Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization (‘RMA’) number. and
return the defective product to Raya along with the RMA number and proof of
purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk
and expense.
