The collapsible octagonal softbox provides a translucent fabric that will soften and diffuse the light of ordinary 45-watt LED bulbs or LED bulbs specifically made for photo and video applications. An internal reflector amplifies the light while the nylon fabric and included diffuser create a soft diffuse beam that’s great for portrait and product photography.
This softbox opens like an umbrella for a quick setup that will have you shooting in minutes. And it collapses down to 23 inches so it’s perfect for travel.

PRECAUTIONS

• Please read and follow these instructions, and keep this manual in a safe place.
• Keep this unit away from water and any flammable gases or liquids.
• Do not stare at the light when it’s powered on.
• Clean the unit with only a soft, dry cloth.
• Make sure that this product is intact and that there are no missing parts.
• Allow LED bulbs to cool before touching or moving them.

MOUNTING THE SOFTBOX

1. Loosen the locking knob and place the mounting bracket onto the light stand’s 5/8-inch stud.
2. Tighten the locking knob until secure.
3.  Loosen the tilt lock, and adjust the softbox to the desired angle. Tighten the tilt lock until secure.

SETTING UP THE SOFTBOX

1. 1. Press the locking ring down over the base until it snaps into place.
2. Screw an LED bulb into the light socket.

ATTACHING THE DIFFUSER

Fit the diffuser over the edges of the softbox. Make sure the diffuser’s seams match the softbox’s corners.

POWERING THE SOFTBOX

Plug the power cord into an available power socket, and press the power switch to the on position.

CLOSING THE SOFTBOX

Make sure the light has cooled down sufficiently, and remove the LED bulb from the base.

Pull the locking ring up off the base, and fold up the softbox.

ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

This RAYA product is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal consumer use for a period of one (1) year from the original purchase date or thirty (30) days after replacement, whichever occurs later. The warranty provider’s responsibility with respect to this limited warranty shall be limited solely to repair or replacement, at the provider’s discretion, of any product that fails during normal use of this product in its intended manner and in its intended environment. Inoperability of the product or part(s) shall be determined by the warranty provider. If the product has been discontinued, the warranty provider reserves the right to replace it with a model of equivalent quality and function.

This warranty does not cover damage or defect caused by misuse, neglect, accident, alteration, abuse, improper installation or maintenance. EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN, THE WARRANTY PROVIDER MAKES NEITHER ANY EXPRESS WARRANTIES NOR ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. This warranty provides you with specific legal rights, and you may also have additional rights that vary from state to state.
To obtain warranty coverage, contact the Raya Customer Service Department to obtain a return merchandise authorization (“RMA”) number, and return the defective product to Raya along with the RMA number and proof of purchase. Shipment of the defective product is at the purchaser’s own risk and expense.
