Product Usage Instructions
- Step 1: Prepare Steel Cables
- Prepare steel cables in appropriate lengths for the fixing points. The spacing should be around 3m from the center of the mast. Use cables with lengths of 7m and 4m.
- Step 2: Arm the Cables
- Arm one side of the cables with thimbles (10) and secure them with clamps (9).
- Step 3: Install Turnbuckles
- Unscrew the turnbuckles (16) and arm the other end of the cable without tightening the nuts tightly at the clamps (9). This will allow the guy-wires to be pre-tensioned.
- Step 4: Partially Extend the Mast
- Partially extend the mast and install clamps (9) and (12). If necessary, screw the cap (14) onto the upper section.
- Step 5: Attach the Mast Base
- Attach the mast base (2) to the ground using the screw (4) and washer (3). Secure the mast with one bolt (5).
- Step 6: Extend the Upper Part of the Mast
- Extend the upper part of the mast by setting it on the markers and secure it with a clamp (6 or 12) according to the diameter of the pipe. Tighten the clamp until the segments (pipes) are jammed. Repeat this operation for each segment.
- Step 7: Hook the Cables
- Hook the cables with links (13) to the clamps (6).
- Step 8: Fix Hooks in the Ground
- Fix hooks (15) in the ground at appropriate distances from the base.
- Step 9: Raise the Mast
- Raise the mast with at least two people. One person should support the mast while the other person puts the second bolt (5) on the base (2) and hooks the cables to the hooks.
- Step 10: Pull and Align Cables
- Pull the cables by hand, keeping the mast perpendicular to the ground.
- Step 11: Tighten Cables
- Tighten the cables using the turnbuckles.
FAQ
How often should I inspect the mast?
- The mast requires periodic inspection of the bolted connections and general condition. It is recommended to inspect it regularly to ensure its stability and safety.
Can I use different lengths of steel cables?
- It is important to use the appropriate lengths of steel cables as specified in the instructions. Using different lengths may affect the stability and load-bearing capacity of the mast.
Can I assemble the mast alone?
- While it is possible to assemble the mast alone, it is recommended to have at least two people for safety and ease of installation.
