Plug the DM3 amplifier into an audio interface/ mixer with 48v phantom power supply and connecting it to a dynamic or ribbon microphone by a xlr cable as shown in the picture above. Please turn on the 48v phantom power on your audio interface/mixer when using, otherwise the DM3 mic preamp will not work .

Plug the DM3 preamp into your dynamic or ribbon microphone and connect it to a an audio interface/ mixer with 48v phantom power supply by a xlr cable as shown in the picture above. Please turn on the 48v phantom power on your audio interface/mixer when using, otherwise the DM3 mic preamp will not work.

If the microphone does not work after DM3 mic preamp is connected, please confirm:
- DM3 in-line mic preamp is only suitable for dynamic microphone and ribbon microphone. If your microphone is a condenser microphone, DM3 will not work.
- DM3 in-line mic preamp requires a 48v phantom power supply to start working. If your audio interface does not have a 48v phantom power supply, DM3 will not work.

confirm whether the 48v phantom power supply is turned on, because DM3 can
only work with 48v phantom power supply. 3. Check whether the microphone
switch is on. 4. Check whether the volume control button of the monitoring
headphone is on.
Q: Whether there will be noise after connecting DM3.
A: The function of DM3 is to improve the sensitivity of the microphone
and boost up 28db gain to your mic, which is larger than other products
(average 20-25db gain). Therefore, after connecting DM3, the performance of
the signal collected by your microphone will be greatly improved, including
amplifying the ambient noise around you. Therefore, please use the DM3
amplifier in a quiet environment.
Q: DM3 needs 48v phantom power supply, will it damage my microphone?
A: The 48v phantom power supply only supplies power to the DM3
preamplifier, the power will not be transferred to your microphone, so it will
not damage your microphone.
