INSTRUCTION
How to put It on
- Loop the thumb and wrap the strap around the hand-wrist area. Adjust to desired for light, medium, or maximum support. One-handed fitting for left or right hand. Can be used three ways for various support around the palm, hand, and wrist area (see website video for further instructions).
- Straps can be used around the elbow area also.
To treat or prevent conditions
- Use the Magnetic Wrist Support to treat injury or chronic conditions of the hand, wrist, arm, or elbow. Accelerates recovery from injury, sprain, fractures, and or surgery. Continue use until healing is complete. Use for fast recovery from arthritis in the wrist or recovery from carpal tunnel surgery.
- Also, a preventive if used consistently.
- This product may be used occasionally or long-term. Prolonged use has no harmful effects. For best results, use at least 8 hours per day. To maintain maximum effectiveness, remove at least 6 hours in any 24 hours.
- To protect the power of the magnets, do not expose magnets to extreme heat (Over 180 C/ 280 F).
- Care: Hand wash in lukewarm soapy water, and hang to dry. No washer or dryer. When not in use lay flat on a hard surface.
- Folding over and unfolding repeatedly can cause the magnets to dislocate.

According to recent scientific studies, 75 to 95% {depending on the condition)

HOW LONG SHOULD I USE A MAGNETIC PRODUCT?
Listen to your body and decide according to your personal results. Some people
use magnetic therapy until the pain or symptoms disappear and re-apply when
pain or symptoms return. Other people use magnetic products most of the time.
Generally, magnetic therapy is used
short-term to recover from injury and enhance the healing process. For chronic
conditions and to promote wellness, vitality, and balance,
it is recommended that the magnetic product(s) be used most of the time.
IS MAGNET THERAPY SAFE?
The World Health Organization study on magnetic fields, published in 1987,
declared magnets safe. All the scientific studies to date confirm that magnet
therapy is a safe form of natural therapy. Persons fitted with pacemakers,
defibrillators, implanted insulin pumps, or other electro-medical devices must
keep magnetic products at least 18″ (45cm) from the device.
DOES MAGNET THERAPY HAVE ANY SIDE EFFECTS?
As indicated in the results of all the essential scientific studies, no
adverse side effects have been observed with magnet therapy. An exceedingly
small percentage of users may experience mild, temporary symptoms such as
light-headedness, tingling sensation, feeling of warmth, and increased thirst.
In rare instances, as part of the healing process, a particular condition may
feel worst before starting to improve.
These sensations are temporary and can be eliminated by removing the product
and introducing it to the body at a slower rate.
HOW QUICKLY DOES MAGNET THERAPY WORK?
This can vary from a few minutes to several weeks. Generally, people will
notice an improvement within several hours to one week. With some conditions
the results are dramatic, while with others the results can be very subtle. If
you are not sure if your magnetic product works for you, simply take it off
for a while. If your pain or symptoms re-appear, it is a confirmation that
magnets are helpful for your condition.
HOW DO I DECIDE WHICH MAGNETIC PRODUCT TO USE?
In general, the rule of thumb is “put the oil where it squeaks the loudest”-
and choose the product(s) you would be most comfortable using. Nothing works
if it is not used!
- Back problems-back or waist wrap, magnetic pad, sleep systems.
- Foot problems -magnetic insoles.
- Stiff neck-necklace, neck wrap.
- Wrist, elbow, or shoulder problems -bracelets.
Small but powerful magnets placed on pain trigger points or acupuncture points can also be used for most painful conditions. For general health and well- being, energy, and balance, most people prefer easy to wear, attractive magnetic jewelry, insoles, and sleep systems.
WHATISGAUSS?
Gauss is the unit used to indicate the strength of a magnetic material. It is
greatly misused by unscrupulous manufacturers who use material gauss strength
to indicate the strength of their products when in truth, the strength of a
magnet depends on:
- Strength of material
- Size and weight of the magnet
For example: The earth’s magnetic field is 0.5 Gauss, and a refrigerator
magnet is 10 Gauss. Considering only these numbers one would think that a
refrigerator magnet is more powerful than the earth. This, of course, is
incorrect; the earth is immeasurably more powerful due to its immense size.
Unfortunately, there is no standard mathematical formula to calculate the
strength of a particular magnet.
Generally, magnets used in magnet therapy products range from 300 to 3000
Gauss.
WHAT IS TODAY’S MAGNET MADE OF?
The four most common types used in magnet therapy products are:
- Flexible Magnetic Rubber. Most used in shoe insoles. Material Gauss Rating: 2500 Gauss. On average, products made with this type of material will measure 200 -350 gausses on the surface, depending on the thickness of the material.
- Ceramic. Most used in body wraps, pads, and cushions. Material Gauss Rating: Grade 8-4000 Gauss. On average ceramic magnets used in magnet therapy products will measure 800-1100 gauss on the surface depending on the size of the magnet.
- Neodymium. Most used in magnetic jewelry and individually on pain triggers or acupuncture points. Material Gauss Rating: 12500 Gauss. A typical neodymium magnet used as above will measure 1000-3500 gauss on the surface depending on its size.
- Samarium Cobalt. Most used in good quality jewelry where rusting is to be avoided. An expensive magnet, very brittle, therefore I abor-intensive. Material Gauss Rating: 11,000 gausses. On average, a samarium cobalt magnet used in jewelry will measure 1000-2500 gauss depending on its size.
CAN YOU EXPlAIN NORTH POLE, SOUTH POLE, BIPOlAR?
Every magnet has a north and a south pole. In bio-magnetic terms, the side of
the magnet attracted to the earth’s South Pole is designated as the North Pole
of the magnet. The side of the magnet attracted to the earth’s North Pole is
the South Pole of the magnet. In North America, reputable magnetic products
are either North Pole or Bi-Polar. When a magnetic product is called North
Pole, all the magnets in the product are placed so that the North Pole
contacts the body. When a magnetic product is called Bi-Polar, the magnets are
arranged so that both North and
South Poles contact the body. The polarities are said to have the following
effect:
North Pole: Calming, relaxing effect
South Pole: Stimulating, activating effect.
Caution:
Persons fitted with pacemakers, defibrillators, implanted insulin pumps, or
other electro-medical devices should keep magnetic products at least 18″
(45cm) from the device. It is safe to wear or use magnetic products while
working on computers. However, it is recommended that strong magnets do not
come in DIRECT contact with data discs or cards containing a magnetic strip.
Pregnant women should consult their healthcare professional before using
magnetic products.
