Animooz A2201177 Adult Diapers Instruction Manual
Game content : 50 Animal cards (5×10 animals : elephant, rhinoceros, gorilla, lion, tiger, leopard, crocodile, snake, hippopotamus & chameleon), 20 Challenge Cards, 5 Camera cards (1 to 5), 1 trench rulebook and 1 English rulebook.
AIM OF THE GAME
Be the first player to obtain three Challenge cards facing up, while avoiding penalties in order to not be eliminated.
SETTING UP
Discard the Chameleon Animals cards and the Chameleon Challenge cards, which are only used in the Leon the Chameleon variant.
- Randomly spread the Animal cards across the centre of the table, facing both up and down, and letting them overlap: this area is the Savannah.
- Shuffle the Challenge cards and place them face down in a pile. This is the Challenge deck. Place the deck where all players can see it.
- Place the five Camera cards face up in numerical order, around the Savannah.
Tip: For smaller children, spread the cards out more, making it easier to see the Animals.
THE GAME
The game takes place over several rounds comprised of 2 phases:
PHASE (1) : TAKING PHOTOS
A designated player turns the top card from the Challenge deck over, and
places it face up, for all to see. The players must then observe the Savannah
WITHOUT touching the cards and deduce the number of animals as seen on the
Challenge card!
While observing the Savannah to find the animal, look carefully at the partly-
covered cards, you may recognise the animal you are seeking.
(!) Take your time; this is more a game to test observation skills than a test of speed. Mistakes can cost you dearly!
When a player is sure of the number of animals, they take the camera with the
number in question, they place it before their eyes and says 3 times “SNAP”
loud and clear, then start counting down.
During the countdown the other players may pick up a Camera card with a higher
number if they think there are more animals.
Once the first player has finished the countdown, the Taking photos phase is
over.
(!) Once a player has picked a Camera card up, they cannot put it down or pick up another.
PHASE (2) : DEVELOPING PHOTOS
OUT OF LUCIC I
The animal is not visible in the Savannah ?I
During the Taking photos phase, instead of taking a Camera, a player can shout
OUT OF LUCK! if they think the animal sought is not visible in the Savannah.
In this case, the Taking photos phase stops immediately. The other players may
agree to a counter-proposition to show that the animal in question actually is
in the Savannah.
SUCCESS for the player who shout OUT OF LUCK I
If the counter-proposition does not show animal sought, the player who shouted
OUT OF LUCK! wins the Challenge and places the card, face-up before them.
FAIL for the player who shout OUT OF LUCK I
If the counter-proposition shows the animal sought, the player who shouted OUT
OF LUCK! gets a penalty and places the card face-down before them.
END OF THE CAME
The first player to have three Challenge cards face-up has won the game.
NB: if all but one player have been eliminated, the player left is the
winner.
