Product Usage Instructions
Changing the Nib
- Rotate the tip of the pencil clockwise to remove the current nib.
- Take the new nib and turn it counterclockwise to attach it to the pencil.
Bluetooth Connection
- Press the up button to turn on the device. If the indicator light is steady, it needs to connect Bluetooth within 30 seconds.
- Go to Settings on your iPad and turn on Bluetooth.
- Search for the Active Pencil Bluetooth name and click Connect.
- Wait for 10 seconds when the Bluetooth name appears for the first connection.
- If the connection is displayed, the connection is successful.
Key Functions
Up-key Function
- Press the up button to start up. The light will turn on after startup and you have 30 seconds to connect Bluetooth.
- Long press the up button for 3 seconds to power off. The indicator light will turn off.
- Press the up button to switch to the eraser function in Procreate/GoodNotes. Double-click in other software to undo the previous step.
Indicator Light
- When the blue light is on, the power level is 100%-70%.
- When the green light is on, the power level is 70%-10%.
- When the red light is blinking, the power level is 10%-0%.
Down-key Function
- Press the down button to return to the main screen.
- Double click the down button to activate split screen mode.
- Long press the down button to take a picture in Camera mode.
- Press and hold the up and down buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds to restore the pencil to factory settings.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
Q: Is the BENWIS Pencil Pro waterproof?
A: No, the product is not waterproof. Do not use it when the product is wet and dry it immediately. Do not reuse after completely soaking and flooding to avoid accidents and danger.
Q: Can children use this product?
A: This product is not a toy for children. Please ensure that infants and toddlers do not use this product as a toy. For children under 12 years old, please use it under the care of a guardian.
Q: How often should I charge the capacitor pencil?
A: It is recommended to charge your capacitor pencil regularly, preferably once every 3 months, to maintain its long service life.
Q: Can I use the BENWIS Pencil Pro in high temperature environments?
A: No, you should not use or store the built-in battery in high temperature environments such as stoves, heaters, exposed car rooms, etc., to avoid battery explosion and other accidents.
Q: Can I disassemble the battery?
A: No, do not squeeze or disassemble the battery. Also, do not put the battery in a high temperature environment for a long time (above 60°C) as it may cause leakage or explosion risk.
Q: What are the power adapter requirements for recharging?
A: When using the pencil adapter to recharge, ensure that the power adapter’s input voltage is within 5V and the rated current is within 2A. The adapter should only be used after obtaining the national mandatory safety certification.

Attention:
The stylus pencil is already ready to use. If it doesn’t automatically start
working, follow the suggested instructions (A and B) below to resolve the
issue:
A. Open SETTINGS > APPLE PENCIL and turn off “Only Draw with APPLE PENCIL”.
B. Open SETTINGS > Bluetooth disconnect from the original Apple Pencil (if
present)

- This product is not a toy for children. Please ensure that infants and toddlers do not use this product as a toy Play: For children under 12 years old, please use it under the care of a guardian.
- The conversion rate of the stylus pencil exists, so the battery capacity of the capacitor pencil is not equal to the rechargeable amount.
- Please charge your capacitor pencil regularly (once every 3 months is recommended) to maintain it for a long time service life.
- The product is forbidden to beat hard, do not collide with sharp objects while using and storing.
- This product is not waterproof, do not use when the product is wet and dry in time. Do not reuse after comletely soaking and flooding, in order to avoid accidents and danger.
- The built-in battery is prohibited to be used and stored in high tempe- rature environment, such as stove, heater near, exposed car room, etc… In case of battery explosion and other accidents.
- Do not squeeze/disassemble the battery or put the battery in a high temperature environment for a long time (above 60 ), or it may cause leakage or explosion risk.
- When consumer use this pencil adapter to recharge, its power adapter input rated voltage should be within 5V, rated current within 2A, the adapter can only be used after obtaining the national mandatory safety certification.
- This product uses lithium batteries. Overcharge or over-discharge can affect the service life of the product, please charge in time or discon- nect the power after full charged.
- If the pencil breaks down, please contact sales or the company, do not try to disassemble or change the structure of the product, in case of unnecessary breakdowns and hazards.
The Harmful Substances and Definitions in The Product
The icon indicates “Effective Eco-protection Use of Period”, while not the quality warranty of the product. Electronic of product contains lead, mercury, cadmium and other harmful substances, it can cause leakage or mutation of toxic substances when the warranty of the pencil expires, damage to persons, and properties. “Eco-protection Use of Period” means that some of electronics should be within their validity period, we are no longer responsible for any damage or safety risks once its invalid.

Compatible devices
The anti-mistouch mode applies to iPads from 2018 to 2019 onwards. The iPad
must be upgraded to iOS13.4 or higher.

- Method 1: Find model number (AXXXX) by looking on the back of your iPad. Just like the picture shows above.
