Thank you for purchasing Nokia WiFi Beacon
1. Download the mobile app
Download the Nokia Wifi app to set up yo1.1r Beacon, or follow the steps in this guide.

2. Plug in and power on
Plug in the power adapter and connect it to your Beacon.
Press the power button to turn it on.
3. Connect Ethernet
Plug the Ethernet cable into the blue WAN port on your Beacon.
4. Connect modem
Connect the Ethernet cable into a LAN port on the modem and restart it.
5. Wait for the blue-green light
The Beacon’s LED light will turn blue-green when it is ready.
6. Place additional Beacons
Use the Nokia Wifi app to set up additional Beacons.
They should be placed no further than two rooms apart.
7. Connect to Wi-Fi
Connect your devices using the 551D and Wi-Fi Key shown on the bottom of the beacon.
Enjoy your Wi-Fi network
Your system may reboot after setup to optimize your network settings to your
environment. This will take a couple of minutes and your network will be
temporarily offline.
