WARNING
Please read and retain these important instructions for future reference.
The product is supplied with a USB cable for mains-powering the device. If an
alternative cable is needed, make sure it has the same power ratings. Using a
different cable with the wrong power ratings may damage the device or stop it
from working as described. Do not stare at the UV light as it can cause
discomfort or retinal damage with prolonged exposure.
- Keep the product away from children.
- Do not wash or soak the product in water.
- Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types.
- Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium, lithium-ion) batteries.
- Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
- Insert batteries in the correct polarity position as indicated inside the battery compartment.
- Never short circuit battery terminals.
- Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended.
- Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from product.
- Dispose of batteries safely & properly.
- Do not dispose of product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
DO NOT USE RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES WITH THIS PRODUCT.
INTRODUCTION
The Nuby™ UV Dummy Steriliser combines the latest sterilisation technology with style and portability. Using highly specialised LED bulbs, the UVLED soother steriliser destroys microorganism DNA and prevents any further growth. The compact size and portability is perfect when out and abour, and with a 1 minute cycle time it’s quick and effective. As it uses light and not steam to sterilise, there’s also no risk of burning, making it a safer alternative to traditional steam sterilisation.

INSTRUCTIONS
This product is designed for the sterilisation of soothers. Other items that
fit inside without blocking UV light may also be suitable for sterilisation,
but this is at the discretion of the user and not advised by Niby.
Only sterilise one soother at a time. Attempts to sterilise more than one
soother could reduce effectiveness. Do not use latex soothers with this
device. Latex can breakdown when exposed to UV light.
PREPARATION
Wash soother or wipe clean to remove debris before sterilisation. Open the
lid, place the soother inside, then close the lid.
POWER SUPPLY
Battery Powered: Remove battery cover by pushing the lid forward. Place 3 x AA
batteries in the correct orientation and replace the battery cover. Mains
Powered: Connect the USB adapter to the product and a suitable power source.
OPERATION
Press the sterilisation button to start the sterilisation function. The sterilisation button will light up and blink to indicate that the cycle is in progress. The sterilisation button light will be a solid light when the cycle completes. If the lid is opened during a cycle, the UV LED bulbs will shut off. This is a safety feature to prevent UV exposure. Closing the lid will continue with the cycle.

CLEANING

WARRANTY
Naby’s UV Dummy Steriliser includes a one-year limited warranty against defects from the date of purchase. In the event of a malfunction or defect during the in-warranty period, Naby™, at its discretion, will replace or repair the product under warranty. Upon receipt of the product and the Froof of purchase with a valid date of purchase, the defective part will be immediately repaired or replaced and returned to you free of charge.
