SET UP GUIDE
Power Up
-
Insert 2-AA batteries into your Outdoor Sensor.
-
Insert the USB Cord into a USB Power Adapter (not included), be sure the adapter is securely plugged into a working outlet. Then insert the Power Jack end into the back of the station.
Optional: Insert 2 AA batteries for backup. -
Once the sensor is reading to your station, place it outside in a shaded location to protect it from the sun’s heat.

Adjustable Backlight
- When operating with the USB Cord, press the LIGHT button to adjust the backlight (4 brightness levels, plus an off option).
- When operating on battery power alone, press any button to light up the display for 10 seconds.
Settings Menu
- Hold the SET button to enter the Settings Menu.
- Use the +/- buttons to adjust values.
- Press SET to confirm values and move to the next setting.
- Press the LIGHT button at any time to save and exit.
Settings Menu Order:
- Language (English, Spanish, French, German)
- Beep ON/OFF
- 12HR/24HR Time Format
- Hour
- Minute
- Year
- Month
- Date
- Celsius/Fahrenheit
- Pressure: hPa / InHg
- Pressure Number setting
Language: The language selected in this menu will control other menu
items, as well as your full weekday readout.
Weekday: The Weekday will set automatically when your Year, Month, and
Date are set.
LCD Display Brightness
Adjusting the LCD Display Brightness
Press the LIGHT button to adjust the backlight intensity. There are 4
brightness levels, plus an off option.
Auto-Dim Settings
Program your display to automatically dim during preselected times.
- Hold the LIGHT button to enter the Auto-Dim Settings Menu.
- Press the +/- buttons to turn the Auto-Dim feature on or off. Press LIGHT to confirm.
- Press the +/- buttons to adjust the starting hour. Press LIGHT to confirm.
- Press the +/- buttons to adjust the stopping hour. Press LIGHT to confirm and exit.
Please Note: Only the hour can be set.
The icon will appear on the LCD when the Auto-Dim feature activated.
Indoor Comfort Level Indicator
Using relative humidity, these arrows will indicate your indoor comfort level. A feature that can help keep your home safe and comfortable.
Forecast
The forecast icons use the station’s internal barometer to predict condi-tions to come within the next 12 hours. The Snow Icon will show when temperatures are below 0°C (32°F) and rain or storms are predicted.
The sun icon will show in daylight hours and the moon icon will show during nighttime hours if the forecast is for sunny or partly sunny.
Seasonal Foliage
Seasonal Trees
The foliage scene in the forecast section changes seasonally. The dates are
pre-programmed.
Moon Phase
The moon phase is based on the Lunar Calendar and the year, month, and date settings.
Pressure / Extra Sensor Area
Pressure
Your Relative Pressure reading will come from your station’s internal
barometer. Allow up to 10 days for automatic calibration. Or you can program
your local pressure value in the Settings Menu. The arrows on the left
represent rising and falling tendency.
Extra Sensors
The station can display extra data from three additional Temperature and
Humidity Sensors, as well as one Rain Sensor.
Add Extra Sensors

Install batteries into your extra sensor(s).
Note: For Temp/Humidity sensors, be sure to select different channels (1,2,3) before you insert batteries. -
Hold the EXTRA button on the station until the Reception Indicator starts to animate. This will start a search for your sensors.

Your sensor(s) should connect within the next few minutes. Press the EXTRA button to cycle through Extra Sensor and Pressure data. The Auto Scroll Icon will appear when activated.
Button Functions
ALERTS| Hold to enter Alert Settings.
Alerts: Press to move to next item.

EXTRA| Press to view Pressure or Extra Sensors (if added). Hold to
search for all sensors.
+ (PLUS)| Settings: Press to increase values.
Alerts: Press to arm/disarm alerts.
SET| Hold to enter Settings Menu.
Settings: Press to confirm and move forward.
-(MINUS)
| Settings: Press to decrease values. Alerts: Press to arm/disarm alerts.
History: Hold to reset History Records.
HISTORY| Press to view History Records.
LIGHT| Press to adjust backlight.
Hold to enter Auto Dim Settings.
ALERTS & LIGHT| Hold to Factory Reset station.
Note: When programming your station, press or hold one button at a time.
Search for Outdoor Temperature
If you are seeing “NO” or dashes for your outdoor readings, please try the following steps:
- Hold the EXTRA button to search for your outdoor sensor. The Reception Indicator will begin to animate.
- If after 3 minutes the sensor still isn’t connected, bring the sensor inside next to the display and remove power from both the sensor and station.
- Press any button on the station 20 times and leave the parts sit for a few moments with the power off.
- Install a new set of alkaline batteries into the sensor, then into your station. For additional help visit: bit.ly/basic_restart
- If your outdoor data is still not appearing after these steps, please contact our support staff via the links below.
Low Battery Indicator
- Low battery by Outdoor Temperature, replace batteries in the TH sensor.
- Low Battery by Indoor Temperature, replace batteries in station.
- Low Battery in the Extra Area, replace batteries in sensor that shows.

Care + Maintanence
- Do not mix old and new batteries.
- Do not mix Alkaline, Lithium, standard, or rechargeable batteries.
- Always purchase the correct size and grade of battery most suitable for intended use.
- Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
- Ensure the batteries have been installed with correct polarity (+/-).
- Remove batteries from equipment that will not to be used for an extended period.
- Promptly remove expired batteries.
Please help in the preservation of the environment and return used batteries to an authorized depot.
