- Most of the functions of this computer can be set and controlled through the APP, making it very simple to use.

Please install the on your smartphone by downloading it from the . Chinese users can download it through Xiaomi App Store, Huawei App Market, or OPPO Software Store. You can also scan the QR code on the right to download the app.

When the computer prompts for pairing, press to agree.To ensure a smooth experience, please authorize the app permissions for phone calls, messages, location, camera, storage, and battery in your phone’s system settings. If you have any third-party system management software installed on your phone, make sure it does not interfere with the app’s normal use. Please update your phone’s system to the latest version to avoid any issues. For more information on using the computer and app, please visit the “Help Center” and “Feedback” sections within the app.

Safety Warnings and Usage Notes
Failure to observe the following safety instructions may result in serious injury or loss:
- The account information and user ID you use when registering are the only information we can use to confirm your legitimate use, so please keep it safe.
- When you log out of your account or delete a sports record, our server will permanently delete your data, which is an irreversible loss and also a protection of your personal privacy.
- Since you have agreed to share your data with third-party APP platforms, the data you share through the to third-party platforms will no longer be under control, so please pay attention to the security of your data.
- The navigation planning function provided by this computer can only be used as a reference. Due to the possibility of road changes or delays in map data updates, please journey to ensure your safety. Do not focus on the computer while riding.
- Do not impact this computer, do not place it in high temperature or fire, and do not immerse it in water or other liquids. Follow local laws and regulations when disposing of waste items.
Computer Usage Instructions
2.1 Installation of the Computer
- Select a set of rubber bands that are suitable for the diameter of your vehicle’s handlebars, and fix the computer mounting bracket diagonally onto the bicycle.
- Align the computer with the insertion port and rotate it 90 degrees to securely insert the computer.
State
A. This package does not provide a forward extension mounting bracket. You can
purchase a suitable forward extension mounting bracket for your bicycle
separately according to its structure.
B. To prevent breakage, this computer’s mounting bracket interface uses a
patented metal interface. Please use a bicycle mounting bracket that is of
appropriate specifications and has a quality guarantee. Any damage caused by
unofficially recognized mounting brackets will be borne by the consumer.
2.2 Button Function/Backlight on/Status Pages

Short press to turn on the backlight. Short press again to turn off the
backlight. Press twice in quick succession: Display the status page. In the
status page, short press to adjust the backlight brightness. After adjusting,
short press any other key to exit the status page. This computer has automatic
backlight function, it will automatically turn on/off the backlight when the
ambient light changes.
2.3 Communication Interface and Charging
The TYPE-C interface of this computer has communication function. In the
power-off state, you can quickly copy files from a computer. You can charge
the computer using a mobile phone charger or a computer USB interface. Maximum
input standard: DC 5V, 1A. When the computer is overheated, the charging
process may be interrupted.
2.4 Computer Activation
Long press to power on the computer. After GPS positioning, press to begin
your journey. Press twice in quick succession to display the status page;
press any other key to exit the status page.
Short press to switch to the next page. During recording, press to segment
your journey. An unfinished journey will be automatically continued after the
next power-on. To end the journey, long press and save the record. Upload the
file to the app, and you can see your wonderful journey on the app.
2.5 GPS Status and Symbols
When the computer has not been used for a long time, GPS may require up to 1
minute for positioning, depending on the strength of the GPS signal in your
environment. If recording is started before GPS positioning, some of your data
may not be saved or the time may be incorrect. Please wait for GPS positioning
before starting recording. You can confirm GPS positioning on the following
interface.GPS may not work properly near
tall buildings, bridges, tunnels, indoors, etc. If your computer is close to
any other global positioning computer using a similar frequency band, it may
be interfered with. In some sensitive areas, it may even cause the GPS to stop
working completely. Please stay away from these environments. 2.6 Password
Setting & Unlocking
After the computer is successfully connected to the APP, you can set a
password for the computer through the APP. Please keep the password properly.
After the password is set successfully, the password is the only credential
for you to enter the computer. Forgetting it will result in the inability to
use the computer normally.After you set the
password, the computer will ask you for the password every time you turn it
on.
You can unlock it in two ways:
- Connect the mobile APP to the computer, and it will automatically unlock when you get close to it.
- Enter the password on the computer to unlock it.
Note:
- If the computer is reset to factory settings, the password will be reset to zero.
- This password setting is only one way to protect your personal property and privacy. Its security level is low, so please do not use it as the only way to protect your property. Consumers are responsible for any losses caused by this.
2.7 Connection of Speed/Cadence/Heart Rate/Power Sensors
Click “Pair Sensor” in APP-L1. L1 will start searching for sensors. Please
pedal the bike to ensure that the sensor is activated. Select the
corresponding sensor and add it, and the connection is successful. When a
speed sensor is connected, you can set the wheel circumference under the
sensor menu (you can also select it directly from the model list).Supported sensors and wireless

How to determine the wheel circumference?
- Find the corresponding model from the wheel check the table.
- Make a mark O on the wheel, mark a starting point A on the ground, let the wheel roll one circle on the ground and return to the mark O. The distance between point A and point B on the ground is the wheel circumference.
2.8 Basic Settings
2.8.1 Language Setting
- Language Setting: Quick settings can be made in “APP → L1 → Basics → Language”.

2.8.2 Time Setting

After your computer is paired with the APP, the time of the computer will be automatically corrected to the time displayed on your phone.

Please turn on the power of the computer, set the time zone of your location in the → → of the computer (you can search it on the Internet), and then
push the bicycle to an open road to wait for GPS positioning (try not to have high-rise buildings or bridges around, how to judge the positioning success, please refer to(2.5 GPS status and symbols). The first positioning or long- term non-use, or when the surrounding GPS signal is poor, the positioning time may be slightly longer, which is within the normal range within 2 minutes. After GPS positioning, the time and date will be automatically corrected to the correct time. -
Summer Time setting:
If you often use the APP to connect the computer to correct the time of your computer, the daylight saving time of the computer will change with the network time of the phone, and you do not need to do anything special.
If you use the GPS positioning of the computer to correct the time after setting the standard time zone, please turn on the switch to use daylight saving time on the computer.
2.8.3 Unit Setting
- When the APP is connected to the computer, you can set the unit to metric or imperial by going to “More → Profile → Unit” in the APP.
- You can also set the unit in the computer by going to “Setting → General → Unit Measure”.
2.8.4 Altitude Calibration
When measuring altitude with a barometer, there may be some initial errors in
the value. It is recommended that you check the accuracy of this value before
each ride. You can manually input the correct value to calibrate the actual
altitude. If this value is incorrect, many altitude-related data or charts may
be inaccurate.
- When the APP is connected to the computer, you can calibrate the altitude value by going to “L1 → Riding Settings → Altitude Calibration” in the APP
- You can also set the unit in the computer by going to “Setting → General → Alti. Calibrate”.
Use the right button on the computer to move the cursor and the button to
change the altitude value.
2.8.5 ODO Setting
- When the APP is connected to the computer, you can set the ODO value by going to “L1 → Riding Settings → ODO” in the APP.
- You can also set the ODO value in the computer by going to “Setting → General → ODO”.

2.8.6 Setting for Weight / Heart Rate Zones / Power Zones
When the app is connected to the computer, you can set the weight, heart rate
zones, and power zones through “L1 → Profile” in the app. However, the current
settings will not take effect immediately if you are already in a recording
session. They will only be applied and take effect during the next recording
session. 2.8.7 12 Main Data Pages
(Zoom In/Out, Data Modification, Sorting/ Hiding/ Adding)
This feature can only be operated through the app. Please ensure that the
computer is successfully connected to the app. Go to “App → L1 → Page
Configuration” to access the page settings interface.
The computer includes the following pages:
1. Common display pages and zoom in/outClick on the icon within the red box to switch between
displaying 2-3-5-7-9 data variations. Page 6: Altitude data Page 7: Track Page Page
8: LAP data Page 9: Heart rate data (only displayed when connected to a
heart rate monitor) Page 10: Power data (only displayed when connected to
a power meter) Page 11: Route (only displayed when the route is enabled)
Page 12: Virtual Rival (only displayed after starting a race or recording)
2. Data modification
The computer supports displaying 107 data types, including speed, pace,
distance, gradient, heading, heart rate, cadence, pedal power, CORE
temperature, and more. Click on the data box and select the desired data name
from the data list menu. 3. Page sorting /
hiding / adding
Click on the page display settings at the bottom of the page, drag the page to
the desired sequence position.click to hide or add
the display of that page.
Operation of the Main Menu
Long press to enter the main menu options:
Recording Function & LAP Segmentation
- After GPS positioning is completed, you can start cycling by pressing on the computer panel. The recording will automatically pause when cycling is paused or turned off. When cycling resumes, it will continue from where it left off.
- To end the cycling session, long press to save the record. When the computer panel is connected to the app, the cycling record will automatically upload to the app for displaying. The next time the computer panel is used, it will start recording from zero.
- LAP segment: You can divide your long-distance trip into several segments based on days or different destinations, which is very meaningful. However, please note that this function can only be used during recording. Press to mark the start of a new route segment.
Record Viewing Function
- After each ride, connect the computer, with the APP, and the computer will automatically upload the newly generated records to the APP for you to view.
- The speed displayed after the riding record is uploaded to the APP may vary, depending on the network conditions in your location. If you find that there is missing data, you can click to transmit again in “More->Management” in the APP.
Exercise Function
- Set the cycling scene to sports mode, the default is road mode.
- When the computer detects a speed of more than 3km/h, it will automatically start recording, and when the computer is turned off, it will save the record. When this mode is enabled, you do not need to manually control the start and save of the record, and one on/off will generate a record. If you need to continuously record for multiple days during long-distance travel, please turn off this function in advance.
- You can set an automatic segmented standard based on distance or time according to your exercise needs.
- Set the data page cycle display time of the computer.
- You can set the exercise goal for this time based on time or distance.
- Set a virtual opponent for training.
- According to your exercise needs or doctor’s advice, preset a warning value for speed, cadence, heart rate, and power. When the actual exercise status exceeds this warning line, the computer will remind you. You can also set a reminder to drink water or replenish energy based on exercise intensity and weather conditions.
- Enter the maximum heart rate value during normal training (as shown in the figure on the right), and then press “OK”. The computer will set the heart rate interval for you according to the maximum heart rate value method. It is recommended that you use the APP to operate this function.
- Enter the power zone (as shown in the figure on the right), and then press “OK”. The computer will calculate and display the power interval. It is recommended that you use the APP to operate this function.
Route Functions

Create a route in the “App— Route”
Click + to create a route. First, click on the map to determine a starting point, then mark the waypoints you want to pass through (up to 10 can be added), and the final waypoint is the endpoint you choose. After the route is created, click to save it. -
Send the route to the computer
Connect the computer to the app, select this route in “Route → Route Management” in the app, and click “··· → Send to the device.” to start transmitting. During the transmission, do not leave this page or operate the computer , and wait for the progress bar to show that the transfer is complete. For large files over 300 km or frequent interruptions in transmission, it is recommended to use the computer copy method for transmission. For details, please refer to [9. How to Transfer Large Files]. -
Long press to enter the route list. Press to select a route, and then press “OK”. After GPS positioning is completed, a route guide page (as shown in the left figure) will be added to the main page

On the trajectory or navigation page, press and hold to zoom in / out the route. When on the navigation page, long press to end the current route.

You can also copy external route files (only supports .GPX format) into the computer through the TYPE-C interface or import them into the app. For details, please refer to [9. How to Transfer Large Files].
Meanings of commonly used symbols
Inform:
A. A very small number of Android phones may not be able to smoothly download,
you can use a data cable to connect to a PC and copy the route file. Please
refer to [9. How to Transfer Large Files].
B. Due to delays in map updates, temporary road closures, weather conditions,
and differences in navigation algorithms, there may be some deviation between
the route guidance, road names, and actual road conditions. This route
guidance is only for reference as an exercise.
C. If your destination is not on an actual road (such as in a lake or on a
roadless mountain), route planning may not be possible.
D. The route planning process will be affected by the network speed in your
area.
E. When you purchase this computerthe route function is free to use for 2
years, and there may be fees involved after that.
Additional Feature: Cute Eye Taillight Connection
You can search and add the Cute Eye taillight in the “L1 → Pair Sensor”
section of the app. Once connected, you can quickly switch and manage the
taillight’s flashing mode, brake warning, and other functions. You can also
turn on the automatic turn signal function, which will allow the taillight’s
left and right turn signals to be controlled by the computer’s turn signal
information.
Extended Functions of the APP
8.1 Synchronizing and Uploading to Third-party Platforms
Please authorize the third-party platform you need to upload to in “More →
Application Authorization” of the APP. After authorization, the data you
upload to will be synchronized and shared with other third-party platforms. If
you find that some data is missing, you can click “Upload to Strava again” in
“Record Details → Share” to transfer it.
Note: Strava’s data may be delayed in different regions; Komoot does not
support uploading records without tracks; due to different calculation
methods, the same data displayed on different platforms may have different
values, which is normal.
8.2 Downloading and Sharing 3D Track Videos
Please open a record in the APP, click the play button on the track to enter
the 3D video page, click “Save” and share the video. After saving, you can
share it on platforms such as WeChat and Facebook.
Note: There may be charges for using 3D videos.
8.3 Upgrade of the Computer
When the APP displays “A new version needs to be upgraded”, you can click this
button to upgrade the computer Please note that during the upgrade process,
the computer and phone battery should be more than 20%, do not operate or exit
the relevant interface during the upgrade process, and wait for the upgrade to
complete. If the upgrade process is interrupted unexpectedly, please continue
to complete the computer upgrade with the same account. If the Bluetooth
connection of your phone is not good, you can switch to another phone to
continue the upgrade. Generally, the stability of iPhone is stronger.
Transfer of Large Memory Files
For routes (GPX format) or records ( .FIT format) with a distance of more than
500Km, or if the Bluetooth connection is unstable when connected for a long
time on a very small number of Android phones, we recommend that you use the
TYPE-C data cable to transfer your cycling data for reliable operation. Please
carefully evaluate this phenomenon. The reason for the loss of your important
data may be complicated, and we will not be responsible for it.
Turn off the computer , connect the computer to the computer with a TYPE-C
data cable, and then two mobile disks will appear on the computer: L1 Record
and L1 Route. You can:
- Copy the large file records generated on the computer from the Record folder, and then transfer them to the phone through the computer (please refer to the “Add Activity” section on the APP for the path). Manually add this record in “More → Add Activity” of the MEILAN APP, and it will be displayed.
- Save the route file generated by the APP on the phone, then transfer it to the computer, copy it to the “Route” folder of the computer through the computer, and then enable it in the computer ‘s navigation. This navigation file can be run on the computer.
- Similarly, you can delete, format and perform other operations on the files in these two folders through the computer to free up more storage space.
Management of Computer Files
You can view the routes and record files saved in the computer through the “L1
Settings Menu → Route Management / Record Management” in the app. From there,
you can perform operations such as re-uploading, deleting, or formatting
them.You can also delete or format
files in these two folders using a computer to free up more storage space. For
detailed instructions on how to transfer larger files, please refer to the
guide on [9. How to Transfer Large Files].
Note: By default, the records uploaded to the APP will be automatically
deleted by the computer . If the computer storage is full, it will prompt a
message and start deleting the earliest record to free up storage space. If
you still want to keep the records on the computer , you can turn off this
switch in the “L1 → Basics → Delete History Records” of the APP.
Setting for Displaying Mobile Phone Information
After the APP is connected to the computer, you can turn on in the “L1 → Basics → Call/MSG Reminder” of the APP, and in the “System Settings → Applications → Permission Management” of your phone, grant permission to read phone calls and messages. Once authorized, phone calls and messages on your phone will be displayed on the computer .
