MiniMed 740G Medtronic Diabetes for Healthcare Professionals
Mit Smart Guard Technologie
The Mini Med 740G System is an advanced insulin pump system with
SmartGuardTM technology designed to provide better glucose control for
patients with diabetes.
MiniMedTM Mobile App
The Mini Med Mobile App allows for easy tracking of glucose levels. When
the patient’s glucose levels are too high or too low, they will receive
notifications on their smartphone.
Smart Guard Technology
The Smart Guard technology included in the MiniMedTM 740G system helps to
prevent low glucose levels, giving patients more control over their condition.
It can predict and prevent low glucose levels before patients even notice any
symptoms.
CareLinkTM
The Mini Med 740G System is compatible with CareLinkTM, a software program
that allows healthcare professionals to remotely monitor and analyze patient
data for better diabetes management.
GuardianTM Sensor 3
The Mini Med 740G System comes with the GuardianTM Sensor 3, a glucose
sensor that continuously monitors glucose levels and provides accurate
readings for better insulin delivery.
Specifications
- Glucose range: 70 mg/dl to 250 mg/dl (3.9 mmol/l to 13.9 mmol/l)
- Insulin delivery interruption: SmartGuardTM technology automatically interrupts insulin delivery when low glucose levels are expected
Setting up the MiniMedTM 740G System
To set up the MiniMedTM 740G System, follow these steps:
- Insert the GuardianTM Sensor 3 into the designated area on the body.
- Connect the MiniMedTM pump to the sensor.
- Enter personal settings, such as basal rates and glucose targets, into the pump.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to prime the pump and perform a system check.
Using the MiniMedTM Mobile App
To use the MiniMedTM Mobile App, follow these steps:
- Download and install the MiniMedTM Mobile App on your smartphone.
- Pair your smartphone with the MiniMedTM pump using Bluetooth technology.
- Open the app and log in using your credentials.
- View and track your glucose levels, receive notifications and access additional features and settings through the app.
CareLinkTM Integration
To integrate the MiniMedTM 740G System with CareLinkTM, follow these steps:
- Create a CareLinkTM account on the official website or through the mobile app.
- Connect your MiniMedTM pump to your CareLinkTM account using the provided instructions.
- Review and analyze your glucose data, insulin delivery, and other relevant information through the CareLinkTM platform.
MiniMed Mobile App
For easy tracking of the Glucose levels. If the values of your patients too high or are too low, they receive one notification on your Smartphone. Trustworthy people can the CareLink™ Connect app download so that they can always stay up to date. Accu-Chek® Guide link Blood glucose meter The precise test results of the blood glucose meter for quick sensor calibration are sent wirelessly to the pump.
CareLink
Enables more effective conversations with your patients thanks to tailored reports, whether personal or via telemedicine. Your patients’ data can now simply be uploaded via the smartphone app.
Guardian Sensor 3
The CGM sensor (sensor for continuous Glucose measurement) measures all
glucose values for 5 minutes and sends it to the pump.
Can provide better protection
Hypoglycemia offers than CSII therapy:
- 1 73% fewer hypoglycemias
- 79% less time in the hypoglycemic range
- 84% fewer severe hypoglycemias
- less nocturnal hypoglycemia
MiniMed 740G System mit SmartGuard Technologie
With the MiniMed™ 740G system with SmartGuard™ technology, your patients can manage more than 80% of severe Prevent hypoglycemia events without causing a significant increase in hyperglycemia.1# It can help reduce the frequency of both high and low sensor glucose values and monitor sensor glucose To stabilize the resumption of insulin delivery.2# Sensor-assisted insulin pump therapy with interrupt function When threshold values are reached, nighttime hypoglycemia is also reduced.3 Most of the SmartGuard™ technology Predicted hypoglycemia events do not reach the preset lower limit.2# SmartGuard™ technology helps1, too low Values to avoid your patients more to give control.
SmartGuard technology
Interrupts insulin delivery, as soon as they are too low Sensor glucose level
(SG) is expected. Time window for SmartGuard™ technology Continue basal
delivery after the sensor glucose value has recovered. SG values. SmartGuard
technology can reduce the risk of hypoglycemia in children with type 1
diabetes significantly without increasing the HbA1c value.
