  • When using it for the first time, please pair the remote to the outlet using the instructions below.

Reminder: The remote CANNOT control 2 outlets on the outdoor switch SEPARATELY.

1. Remove the battery cover on the remote and install one battery (Model: CR2032). Test to see if the LED on the remote comes on when the button is pushed. This will verify that the remote has power.
2. When the remote outlet is plugged into the wall outlet or other power source, the LED indicator will flash slowly indicating the outlet is in learning mode. It will remain in learning mode for 29 seconds. Press the selected ON button on the remote to pair with the outlet. Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing.
3. Test the remote with the outlet to ensure they are paired successfully. If not paired, please repeat Step 2.
4. Clear the pairing
   • a. Unplug the remote outlet and plug it back in. (The LED indicator will slowly flash same as learning mode).
   • b. Press the selected OFF button of the remote, then the LED indicator of the outlet flashes quickly (3-4 seconds), which means pairing is cleared. After that, the outlet returns to learning mode.
5. Clear all selected outlets
   • a. Unplug the remote outlets and plug them back in. (The LED indicator will slowly flash same as learning mode).
6. Press the OFF button on ALL channels. LED indicators of the outlets flash quickly (3-4 seconds), which means pairing is cleared. After that, outlets return to learning mode.

Helpful Tips

1. The remote-coded pattern is Random/Learning code. The repeat probability is 1/1,048,575.
2. The remote can control up to 3 channels. If one channel pairs multiple outlets, then this channel can turn them ON/OFF simultaneously.
3. ALL ON/OFF channels can turn the outlets of 1, 2 and 3 channels ON/OFF simultaneously.
4. One outlet can be paired with max 10 remotes. If the 11th remote is paired, the outlet will unpair the 1st remote.

Safety Information

Caution: Do not install/operate this product unless the outlet it is plugged into is protected by a maximum 15 Amp circuit breaker.
Suggestion:

• Do not plug the device into USOT-R-2A directly. Please use a circuit breaker between these two.
• If using an extension cord for an extended period (greater than 90 days), please consider hard-wiring a permanent outdoor-use receptacle rated for year-round use in the area where power is needed.
• Please contact a licensed electrician for the proper installation of permanent wiring.
• Suitable for indoor/outdoor use-store indoors while not in use.

  • Always ensure the plug of any appliance is fully inserted into the timer outlet.
  • If cleaning of the timer is required, unplug it from power and wipe the timer with a dry cloth.

  • Store indoors when not in use.
