hot. Extreme caution must be used when handling the hot air frying basket.

CAUTION: This appliance is hot during operation and retains heat for some time after turning OFF. Always use oven gloves or mitts when handling hot materials and allow metal parts to cool before cleaning. Do not place anything on top of the appliance while it is operating or while it is hot.
- All users of this appliance must read and understand this instruction manual before operating or cleaning this appliance.
- The cord to this appliance should be plugged into a 220-240V-50-60Hz electrical outlet only.
- If this appliance begins to malfunction during use, immediately unplug the cord. Do not use or attempt to repair the malfunctioning appliance.
- Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
- Do not immerse power cord in any liquid. If the power cord to this appliance is damaged, it must be replaced by contacting the Customer Helpline.
- Keep the cord out of reach from children and infants to avoid the risk of electric shock or choking.
- Place the Air Fryer Oven on a flat, heat-resistant work area.
- Do not obstruct the air outlet or air inlets on the back and sides of the Air Fryer Oven, with any objects. Avoid escaping steam from the air outlet during air frying.
- Keep appliance at least 10cm away from walls or other objects during operation.
- Do not replace the empty frying basket drawer (without the frying basket) into the Air Fryer body. Check to make sure the frying basket is locked in position in the drawer.
- Never move a hot Air Fryer Oven or an Air Fryer Oven containing hot food. Allow to cool before moving.

ELECTRICAL SAFETY
Read these instructions carefully before use and keep them in a safe place.
- A 10 amp BS1362 ASTA approved fuse must be fitted.
- The appliance must be earthed.
- There are no user serviceable parts inside this appliance.
- Always refer servicing to qualified electrical and service personnel.
- The main lead of this appliance is not replaceable by the user.
- If the mains lead of this appliance is damaged, the entire appliance should be returned to an approved Service Centre for repair.
- Do not allow this appliance to be exposed to rain or moisture during use or storage.
- Before switching on, make sure that the voltage of your electricity supply is the same as that indicated on the rating plate. Connecting it to any other power source may cause damage.
- This product may be fitted with a non-rewireable plug.
- If it is necessary to change the fuse in the plug, the fuse cover must be refitted. If the fuse cover becomes lost or damaged, the plug must not be used until a suitable replacement is found.
- If the plug has to be changed because it is not suitable for your socket, or due to damage ,it should be cut off and a replacement fitted.
- The old plug must be disposed of safely because inserting it into a 13-amp socket could cause an electrical hazard.

BEFORE FIRST USE
- Unpack the appliance and accessories and wash and wipe everything down. Wipe the interior of the oven with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry with paper towel. Make sure the appliance is dry before operating the appliance.
- Thoroughly clean the accessories in warm soap water with a non-abrasive sponge. Dry them with a clean, dry soft cloth.
- Position the appliance on a flat and heat resistant surface so that it is also positioned at least 4 inches (10cm) away from any surrounding object.
- Unwind and plug in the power cord into the electrical wall outlet. Place the crumb tray inside on the bottom of the appliance. Make sure all other accessories have been taken out of the appliance.
- It is normal if some smoke or smell emanates from the appliance when using it for the first time. This is not harmful as this will be manufacturing residue being burnt off. We recommend operating the appliance for 20 minutes, putting the thermostat on its maximum temperature setting.
Tips:
- Baking rack positioning: the baking rack can be positioned into any of the 3 levels available.
- Always place the baking pan on the lowest level when cooking with the air frying basket or baking rack. The baking pan will catch any grease or crumbs during the cooking cycle.
CONTROLS
- This multifunctional appliance uses rapid air circulation technology to cook food faster and make meals healthier. The air frying mechanism works by circulating super-hot air around your food. This delivers the same crispy texture and rich flavour of your favourite fried foods – with little to no oil. That means less fat and calories! The appliance can also be used as your regular, everyday toaster/convection oven and features 5 easy-to-use functions: Air Fry, Bake, Rotisserie, Grill and Toast.
- The appliance features six heating elements – four on top, two on the bottom. A built-in 60-minute timer and adjustable thermostat of up to 230°C let’s you customize cooking for every dish. A built-in safety micro switch automatically stops operation when the door is open.
Indicator lights and control dials
- The Power indicator light, located on the left side, turns blue once the Timer is activated, indicating the appliance is currently on. It is used to set the desired time for all functions. Setting the timer powers the unit on and begins the cooking cycle.
- The Heating indicator light, located on the right side, turns orange when the appliance heats up, and turns off once the set temperature has been reached. It will then cycle on and off as it regulates and maintains the set temperature.
- The Function Dial is used to select the cooking method. Five different functions are available: Air Fry, Bake, Rotisserie, Grill and Toast.
- The cooking process can be stopped at any moment by turning the timer dial back to 0.
- The safety micro-switch stops the cooking operation when the door is open.
- Remember to turn the temperature dial back to the starting point after each use to make sure you are adjusting correct temperature settings for each new cooking process.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
PREHEATING:
- Plug the appliance into the electrical wall outlet.
- Turn the function control dial to select your desired cooking setting.
- Turn the temperature control dial clockwise to start preheating at desired temperature and turn the timer dial to 10 minutes.
- The power light will turn on to indicate that the appliance is ON.
- The heating indicator light will turn on to indicate that the appliance is heating up. When the set temperature has be reached the orange heating light will turn off and will then cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature
- You can now place the food to be cooked in the oven to start the cooking process as the appliance has been fully preheated.
SETTINGS
ALWAYS USE A MEAT THERMOMETER TO ENSURE THEAT MEAT, POULTRY AND FISH ARE
THOROUGHLY COOKED BEFORE EATING.
AIR FRY
- Use the air fry function to Air Fry as a healthy alternative to frying without the use of excess amounts of oil. This function lets you cook with less fat and calories and gives the food a lighter and less greasy taste. The air frying basket can be used to cook small foods such as chips, wedges and chicken wings.
- Preheating is not necessary for the air fry function but can be used to speed up the cooking process. Keep in mind that preheating will interfere with recommended cooking times.
- If the appliance is already hot, remove 3 minutes from the recommended cooking time.
- Place the drip tray/baking pan on the lowest level when cooking if cooking with the air frying basket or baking rack. The baking pan will catch any grease or crumbs during the cooking cycle.
- Place food evenly over the air frying basket and place inside the appliance.
- Turn the function dial to the Air Fry position.
- Adjust the temperature dial to the desired temperature by turning the dial clockwise.
- Adjust the timer dial to the desired cooking time.
- Once the time has been set, the power indicator light will turn on. The appliance starts as soon as the timer has been set.
- The heating indicator light will turn orange to indicate that the appliance is heating up and will turn off once the selected temperature has been reached.
- The heating light will then cycle on and off as it regulates and maintains the set temperature.
- When the cooking time has elapsed, the timer bell will ring, the appliance will now turn off on its own.
- Carefully take your food out with oven gloves or oven mitts.
Notes:
- The quantity of food air fried at one time, the thickness or density of the food and whether the food is fresh, thawed or frozen may alter the total cooking time.
- Although oil is not necessary, a small portion of oil can be sprayed on or brushed onto food for air frying. Make sure to distribute the oil evenly on food to ensure even cooking results.
- When cooking a large amount of food, it is recommended to turn food halfway through to ensure even cooked results
- Frying smaller batches will result in shorter cooking times. Adjust air frying temperatures and times as required to best suit your individual taste.
BAKE FUNCTION
Use the bake function to cook cakes, baked goods or to roast meats. This
function can also be used with prepacked frozen meals. For best results when
cooking and baking, we recommend preheating the oven at least for 10 minutes
at the desired temperature setting.
- Begin by preheating the appliance. See “PREHEATING” section.
- Once preheated, place the drip tray/baking pan, baking rack or air frying basket with food in the appliance.
- Turn the function dial to the BAKE position.
- Adjust the temperature dial to the desired temperature by turning dial clockwise.
- Adjust the timer dial to the desired cooking time up to 60 minutes. Once the time has been set, the Power indicator light will illuminate.
- The appliance starts as soon as the timer is set.
- The heating indicator light will turn orange to indicate that the appliance is heating up and will turn off once the selected temperature has been reached. The heating light will then cycle on and off as it regulates and maintains the set temperature.
- When the cooking time has elapsed, the timer bell will ring, the appliance will now turn off on its own.
- Carefully take your food out with oven gloves or oven mitts.
Notes:
- When using the bake function to cook cake we recommend cooking at a temperature of around 125°C for 25 minutes where the recipe being followed instructs cooking in ovens at 180°C (or 160°C for fan ovens) for 20-25 minutes.
- Use the baking rack for fresh and frozen pizza.
- place the drip tray/baking pan on the lowest level when cooking if cooking with the basket or baking rack. The baking pan will catch any grease or crumbs during the cooking cycle.
ROTISSERIE
- Use the rotisserie function to roast whole chicken under 1.56kg, lamb shoulder, beef for pork joints according to your recipe.
For best results, we recommend preheating the appliance for at least for 10 minutes at the desired temperature setting.
- Place the crumb tray inside the bottom of the appliance to catch any grease or crumbs during the cooking cycle.
- Begin by preheating the appliance.
- With the forks of the rotisserie bar removed, insert the rotisserie bar into the centre of the food. Attach the forks to the rotisserie bar and move the forks up into the food to clamp the food securely at either end. Secure the forks in place by turning the screws to avoid food slipping or falling off the rotisserie.
- Once preheated, place the rotisserie with food into the appliance.
- Turn the function dial to the Rotisserie position.
- Adjust the temperature dial to the desired temperature by turning dial clockwise.
- Adjust the timer dial to the desired cooking time up to 60 minutes.
- Once the time has been set, the power indicator light will illuminate.
- The appliance starts as soon as the timer is set.
- The heating indicator light will turn orange to indicate that the appliance is heating up and will turn off once the selected temperature has been reached. The heating light will then cycle on and off as it regulates and maintains the set temperature.
- When the cooking time has elapsed, the timer bell will ring, the appliance will now turn off on its own.
- Carefully take your food out with oven gloves or oven mitts
Notes:
- When cooking whole chicken do not cook whole chickens larger than 1.56kg when using the rotisserie function. It may become possible for the wings to touch the heating elements. We recommend banding or cutting off the wings before roasting to prevent them contacting the heating elements during use of the rotisserie function. For cooking larger sized whole chickens, we recommend use of the baking pan
GRILL FUNCTION
This setting is ideal for small cuts of meat, open sandwiches, poultry,
fish, and vegetables. The grill setting can also be used to brown the top
dishes such as gratins or casseroles. When grilling, preheat the appliance for
10 minutes.
- Begin by preheating the appliance. See “PREHEATING” section.
- Once preheated, place the baking tray or rack with food on the highest rack position closest to the top.
- Turn the function switch to GRILL. Adjust the temperature dial to the desired temperature by turning the dial clockwise.
- Adjust the timer dial to the desired cooking time up to 60 minutes. Once the time has been set, the power indicator light will illuminate. The appliance starts as soon as the timer has been set.
- The heating indicator light will turn orange to indicate that the appliance is heating up and will turn off once the selected temperature has been reached.
- The Heating light will then cycle on and off as it regulates and maintains the set temperature.
- When the cooking time has elapsed, the timer bell will ring, the appliance will now turn off on its own.
- Carefully take your food out with oven gloves or oven mitts.
Note:
- Using the grill function usually requires a shorter cooking time.
- Do not use glass oven dishes to grill.
- Food gets cooked quickly during grilling, it is best to watch over food to avoid over cooking or burning.
Caution:
- Aluminum foil is not recommended for covering the accessories. If covered, the foil prevents the fat from dripping into the drip tray. Grease will accumulate on the foil surface and may catch fire. If you choose to use foil to cover the drip tray/baking pan, be sure the foil is cut to neatly fit into the pan and does not touch the wall or heating elements.
TOAST FUNCTION
Use the toast function to toast bread to perfection: crunchy on the outside
and soft on the inside.
- Begin by preheating the appliance. See “PREHEATING” section.
- Once preheated, place the baking pan or rack with food in the middle slot.
- If using the backing rack, ensure the crumb tray positioned inside the bottom of the appliance to capture any loose crumbs.
- Turn the function dial to TOAST position.
- Adjust the temperature knob to the desired temperature by turning the dial clockwise.
- Adjust the timer dial to the desired cooking time. Once the time has been set, the power indicator light will turn on. The appliance starts as soon as the timer is set.
- The heating indicator light will turn orange to indicate that the appliance is heating up and will turn off once the temperature has been reached. The heating light will then cycle on and off as it regulates and maintains the set temperature.
- When the cooking time has elapsed, the timer bell will ring, the appliance will now turn off on its own.
- Carefully take your food out with oven gloves or oven mitts.
Note:
- Use the baking rack to toast items, making sure all food is centered and spaced evenly on the rack as well as placed in the middle of the appliance.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user-serviceable parts. Any servicing requiring disassembly other than cleaning must be performed by a qualified appliance repair technician.
WARNING! Allow the appliance to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Make sure to clean the appliance after each use. Cleaning regularly prevents the accumulation of grease and helps avoid unpleasant smells.
- Make sure the appliance has been turned off by switching the timer to ‘O’ and setting the temperature dial back to the starting point. Unplug the appliance from the electrical wall outlet and allow it to cool down completely.
- Do not immerse in water or wash under running water.
- The accessories are dishwasher safe except for the handle which needs to be hand washed.
- Do not use metal kitchen utensils or abrasive cleaning materials to clean them, as this may damage the non-stick coating.
Internal cleaning
- Wipe the internal cavity with a damp cloth or sponge. Dry with paper towel. To remove baked on food, pour a little cooking oil on the food and allow to stand for five to ten minutes. This should soften the food and allow it to be removed with absorbent paper towel or a soft cloth.
- Clean the inside of the glass door with a damp soapy cloth. If the glass has stubborn stains, open the door and cover the inside of the door with a few damp paper towels. Leave for a few minutes, then remove the towels and wipe door clean. Never use sharp utensils as scratching may weaken it and cause it to shatter.
- Never use abrasive products in the cavity.
- Never immerse the appliance in water and make sure no water or damp penetrates the appliance except the cavity.
- Make sure no water comes on the oven door when the latter is still hot.
External cleaning
- Wipe clean with a damp sponge. Wipe dry
- NEVER use steel wool, metal scouring pads or abrasive cleaners, as they may damage the finish.
SERVICING
- The appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself. Any servicing requiring disassembly must be performed by qualified appliance repair technicians.
STORAGE
- Make sure the Air Fryer Oven is unplugged and all parts are clean and dry before storing.
- Never store the Air Fryer Oven while it is hot or wet.
- Store the Air Fryer Oven in the box in which it was supplied or in a clean, dry place well out of the reach of children.
