Please read these instructions before operating the appliance.
Always use this appliance as described in these instructions.
Always ensure that children aged from 8 years and above and persons with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack experience or
knowledge have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall
not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user tmointenance shall not be made
by children without supervision.
Always keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children less than 8
yeors old.
Always use only accessories recommended by the supplier. The use of other
accessories may result in damage to the appliance and will invalidate the
guorantee and create a hazard for the user.
Alwoys take care to ovoid being burnt, do not touch the hot ports of the
appliance such as the cooking plates and the outside of the appliance. Allow
to cool completely befare handling this appliance.
Always use aven gloves when opening and closing the unit to prevent burns
Always make sure the appliance has sufficient space around it and does not
come into contact with inflammable materials. To avoid the risk of fire, the
appliance must be able to release the heat that it produces.
Alwoys place the appliance on a stable, flat surface where it cannot fall
over.

Before First Use
- Unpack your sandwich tooster. You may wish to keep the packaging for future storage use.
- Remove all the packaging materials and stickers from the appliance.
- Clean both the non-stick plates and the outside of the unit with a soft damp cloth.
- Heat the appliance for 5 minutes prior to first use, this will burn off any manufacturing dust from the heating elements. The unit moy emit slight smoke or an odour This is normal and will soon disappear.
Using your Deep Fill Sandwich Toaster
- Insert the plug into a suitable electrical socket and switch on ot the socket The red power and green ready lights will illuminate. This is to show that the plates are heating
- When fully heated the green ready light will go out. Open the lid
- Spread the outside of the bread with butter or a spread suitable for cooking. Avoid tow fat spreads. Place the twa lower slices of bread onto the bottom plate butter side down
- Add your filling. The deeper cooking plates allow for o more generous fill of your favounte ingredients. Always allow on approximate 2 cm gap around the filling. This allows your sandwich toaster to form o good seal, helps prevent ingredients from leaking out and makes sandwiches easier to remove once cooked. Place the remaining bread on top with the buttered side up
- Close the lid using oven gloves andshut the plates using the locking clasp The ready fight will go on again ond allow to cook for approximately 2-4 minutes, the ready tight will go off again, until cooked. If not cooked to your likely then leave the sandwich in the toaster for more or less time according to taste.
- Release the locking clasp using ovengloves and open the lid. Watch out for any escaping steam.
- Remove the cooked sandwich with a non-metallic spatula. Do not use metal utensils as this will damage the non- stick coated plates.
- When you have finished cooking, simply turn the unit off and remove the plug from the power socket.
- Take care when eating as fillings, especially cheese, con be very hot
Maintenance and Cleaning
There are no user serviceable parts inside this appliance.
- Always refer servicing to qualified service personnel
- If you drop or damage your praduct, do Not use UNtil it has been inspected and approved by o qualified electrician
- Never clean the appliance when it is turned on or is still hot.
- Turn off the appliance by unptugging it ond wait until t has cooled down completely before cleaning it.
- Make sure no woter gets into the housing
- DO NOT immerse the appliance in water or other liquids. If this does happen, do Not use the appliance again. For safety reasons, dispose of the appliance
- Never use aggressive or abrasive Cleaning products or utensils to clean the appliance.
- Remove the plug from the plug socketand allow the appliance to cool down completely,
- Clean the plates and the oppliance’s housing with o damp soft clath.
- Use worm water and some washing-upliquid to dampen the cloth.
- Make sure the appliance is tharoughly dry before storing it.
Guidelines for Protection of the Environment
At the end of the useful life of the appliance, it should not be disposed of
with general household waste. Check with your Local Authority or retailer for
recycling advice in your local area.
