OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS FOR OES-BAS-i10 Safe

GETTING STARTED
MOUNTING METHOD:

  • Fix the Safe in the place which is not easy to move like cupboard or almirah.
  • Drill holes for inserting expansion bolts (or clamping screws) in the right place.
  • Turn the expansion bolts counter clockwise to separate.
  • Use the expansion bolts (or clamping screws) to secure the case to the wall.
  • Make sure the case is mounted in place as required and then tighten all screws
  • Don’t keep emergency keys inside the Safe
    CAUTION: Expansion bolts to be used in case of concrete wall surface & clamping screw to be used for wooden wall surface.

OPENING YOUR SAFE FOR THE FIRST TIME
On receipt of Safe, open the Safe with the mechanical override key (emergency key)

  • Remove the Key Hole Cover given on Operating panel
  • Insert Mechanical Override Key (Emergency Key) & Turn it counter clock-wise
  • Then Turn the knob clockwise to open the Safe door

CAUTION: One the Safe opens. remember to pull out the mechanical override key (emergency key) and keep it in a secure place outside the Safe.
INSERTING THE BATTERIES

  • Open the door
  • Insert 4 x AA batteries into the battery compartment given on the backside of the Safe door.
  • Under normal condition, if both of the red & green light are turned on at the same time, it means the voltage is low and you should insert new batteries

CAUTION: Replace 4 fresh batteries by lining them up in a manner as indicated by “ + “ and “ – “ signs.
SETTING THE USER CODE

  • With the Safe door open, press the reset button given inside of the Safe door.

  • Enter your new user code (3-8 digits) and press “ *” or “ #” button to confirm.
    Sound of a buzzer beep will indicate the acceptance and storage of the new User Code.

  • If the yellow beeps flashes along with 3 buzzer beeps, then it indicates that code registration has been ineffective and you need to try again.
    OPENING THE SAFE

  • Enter your new User Code (3-8 digits). immediately one buzzer beep will occur along with yellow light flash.

  • Press “*” or “ #” button and green light will turn on.

  • Rotate the knob clockwise and the Safe door will open.

CAUTION: the user preset code is “159″. Please enter the user code again if the yellow light flashes along with three buzzer beeps.
LOCKING THE SAFE

  • Turn the knob counter clockwise to close the door.
    AUTO SECURE MODE

  • 3 Minutes auto freeze mode on 3 Consecutive wrong Password attempts.
    During this period, the Safe can’t be operated.
    CAUTION: The key pad would be disabled during the beeping. You can only stop the beeps by opening the Safe with mechanical override key (emergency key) and power-cut by removing the battery.

INSTALLING THE SAFE

  • Safe can be easily install in wardrobe or on wall.
  • Fix the safe in the place which is not easy to move.

  • Use the expansion bolts (or clamping screws) to secure the case to the wall.
  • Make sure the case is mounted in place as required and then tighten all screws.

WARRANTY POLICY

BY USING OZONE PRODUCT YOU ARE AGREEING TO BE BOUND BY THE TERMS OF THE OZONE (2) YEARLIMITED WARRANTY (‘WARRANTY”) AS SET OUT BELOW.
Ozone secutech pvt ltd. The “warrantor” Extends the following limited warranty to the purchaser of this product for a Period of 2 year commencing on the date of purchase from the company orits authorized dealer.
Ozone warrants to the purchaser that the products manufactured by it are free from any defects in material or workmanship.
If after initial installation, any of the parts should become defective, the warrantor will repair or replace the product, At its own discretion, in accordance with this limited warranty. This limited warranty shall apply only when the lockset is properly installed in Accordance with lock codes, ordinances and regulation, the printed instructions provide withit.
This limited warranty and remedies set forth, to the extent permissible by law, are exclusive and in lieu of all/any Other warranties, remedies and conditions, whether written or oral, express or implied, provided by the company.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • This warranty is applicable from the date of purchase on the original invoice.
  • Surface finish/shade of the product are not covered under this warranty.
  • Replaced parts/products shall be the sole property of the company.
  • In case of a product that requires installation, Damage to the product on Non- Operation of product due to Effect of weather are not covered under this warranty.
  • Any tempering with the product by combining with products/parts of other manufacturers shall render the Warranty invalid.
  • This warranty excludes every condition/liability not expressly set out herein
  • Ozone may restrict warranty service for product to the country where Ozone or its Authorized distributors Originally sold the device.
  • No Ozone authorized seller, agent, or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension, or addition to This warranty.
  • fany termis held to beillegal or unenforceable, the legality or enforceability of the remaining terms shall not be Affected or impaired.
  • This warranty is subject an inspection by the manufacturer to verify the claims.
  • The warranty does not cover products not fully paid for.
  • Decision of the company on the admissibility of claims under the warranty would be final and binding.
  • The company reserves the right to amend the conditions set out in this warranty without notice.

CLAIM PROCEDURE

  • The customer must present the signed and sealed warranty card together with the original invoice.
  • ncase or replacement, the original warranty card must be returned with the. defective goods and the customer shall Receive a fresh warranty card with the replacement that shall have the remaining period of warranty from date of Original invoice.

  • The customer will have to deliver the defective product to the nearest service. provider of Ozone.
  • Incase a technician s required to visit the place of installation, after registration of a request for service, the Prevailing price list would be applicable if the location is within the municipal limits of the city/town.
  • In case a technician s required to visit the place of installation, after registration of a request for service, the Company’s dealers nexus, traveling and other incidental expenses shall be payable by the customer, if the location is Beyond the municipal limits of the city/town.

DISCLAIMER/LIMITATION

  • This limited warranty is the only warranty provided by the company, thereby, all implied warranties including Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed. Expenses shall be payable by the customer If the location is beyond the
    municipal limits of the city/town.

  • Inno event shall the company be liable for incidental or consequential damages and 0st profits, considered to be Arising out of product,its installation, on usage.

  • Theliability of ozone is limited to the price paid for the affected ozone product or component

  • The customer shall be completely accountable and responsible for battery replacement as well as keeping Emergency key safe and available.

  • This warranty does not cover cosmetic damages including breakage of door is case of need if the keys/passcodes are lost by the customer.

  • Warranty on the products would not be applicable under the conditions that fall out ofits scope, including but not Limited to:

  • Misuse/Mishandling of the project due to customer’s negligence/improper installation or application.

  • Failure to follow instructions as noted in the manual or tampering/repaired through unauthorized Service provider.

  • Installation with unapproved accessories.

  • Modification of the product or any alteration of any part or component there of.

  • Cases of seepage of liquids/chemicals, short circuit, physical damage, wrong/improper installation and battery Drainage or any other type of intrusion.

  • Damage due to accidents like fire/ robbery/self-inflicted breakage etc. resulting from incidents beyond the Company’s control.

  • Damages due to harsh environmental conditions like direct sunlight/humidity/vibrations etc.

  • Damage due to third party peripherals,

  • Damage due to excessive pressure or inappropriate cleaning tools/equipment.

  • Damages not involving defective workmanship or materials are expressly excluded from the scope of coverage Under this warranty.
