Monitor Introduction

Security Information

Before setting up the device, please read all the documents included in the product package carefully.

• To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this equipment to rain or moisture.
• Before using this equipment, make sure that all cables are connected correctly and the power cord is not damaged.
• Avoid dust, humidity and extreme temperatures. Do not place this device in any area where it may be exposed to moisture. Place the device on a stable surface.
• Do not insert any foreign objects or splash any liquid into the openings on the cabinet of this equipment.
• Please use the power cord provided with the monitor. If you use another power cord, please confirm whether it meets the relevant national standards.
• Don’t try to open the rear case of the monitor. There are no user-repairable parts in the machine. If the monitor works abnormally, please consult us.
• Do not rub the screen panel with hard objects, as this will scratch or permanently damage the LCD.
• Do not press the LCD screen with your fingers for a long time, otherwise it will produce afterglow, which will damage the screen in severe cases.
• There may be red, green and blue pixel dead pixels on the screen, but it does not affect the display function.
• If possible, try to use the recommended resolution for best results. If any mode other than the recommended resolution is used, abnormal picture may be produced. But this is characteristic of LCD panels with fixed resolutions.
• A still image that stays on the screen for a long time can damage the screen and create an afterimage. In this case, slowly restore the screen by changing the image or turning the power switch off for a few hours. It is important to make sure to use a screen saver.

Using the On-Screen Display (05D) Menu

1. Press the “OSD” button to open and display the OSD menu
2. Scroll “+”and”-” to toggle between options in the menu. Option names are highlighted as you move from one icon to another.
3. Press the “OSD” button to select the highlighted item; Scroll “+” and “-” to adjust the desired parameters, click the “OSD” button to accept the current settings, click the “Switch” button to exit the page.

Other Function Settings:

• Reset: Returns all settings to default factory settings.
• Overdrive: Forcing the liquid crystal to deflect, which can reduce the liquid crystal response time and shorten the time by a few milliseconds, but the defect is that it is easy to produce ghosting.
• Mute: When there is no sound, check whether to enable silent mode
• FreeSync: A solution to eliminate screen tearing, avoid all common lag and lag, and improve your gaming experience.

Devices Connection Reference

Laptop/PC with Type-C Interface

• Portable monitors can be connected with laptops via a single Type-C cable.

• Some laptops require an external power supply when the brightness and volume are adjusted above 80%.

Note:
There are 2 Type-C ports on the portable monitor. The “PD” port is for power only. The “Type-C” port support all functions for computer and mobile device.

• Not all devices with Type-C ports can be used with the portable monitors. Please check whether the Type-C interface of your devices supports audio and video signal transmission.

Laptop/PC with HDMI Interface

PS4/Xbox

Note:
Please connect the power cable first, and then connect the HDMI cable to ensure smooth signal transmission.

Switch

Note:
The switch cannot provide enough power to the monitor and requires an external power supply.

Mobile Phone with Type-C

Note:

• When there is no external power source, the phone powers the portable monitor. When the brightness and volume are adjusted to above 80%, the energy saving mode is activated and the brightness is automatically adjusted to 30%.
• Users can adjust the brightness and volume according to the output power of the connected phone.

Note:
For iPhone, it needs a Lightning to HDMI Adapter (Not included)

Note:

• When an external power source is connected, the adapter powers the monitor and the monitor charges the phone.
• If you connect the monitor with a fast charging adapter, the monitor can provide fast charging to your phone.

Use Duplicate/Extend/Second Screen

• Connect a portable monitor to your computer;
• Right-click on the desktop and select “Display Settings”;
• Scroll down to the “Multiple Monitors” option;
• Select “Duplicate these monitors” or “Extend these monitors” or “Show only on 2” for different modes.

Use Landscape/Portrait Mode
Connect the portable monitor to your computer; Right click on the desktop and select “Display settings”; Scroll down to the “Display Orientation” option; Choose Landscape or Portrait.

Common Problems and Solutions

1. Q: The monitor does not turn on, and the power indicator light does not light up
   A: Press the power button to check whether the monitor is turned on; check whether the USB cable is correctly connected to the monitor and the power supply interface.

2. Q: No screen image or no signal

   • A: Make sure the cables between the monitor and the device is properly connected;
   • Please unplug all cables and reconnect;
   • If you use a Type-C cable for display, please make sure that your device’s Type-C is a full-featured Type-C interface that supports data transfer, DP display output and PD power. Only fully functional Type-C ports are compatible with the monitor;
   • And make sure your device is connected to the “Type-C” port for display and not the “PD” port;
   • Connect the monitor to other devices to check if the monitor works properly with other devices.

3. Q: Flickering occurs when the screen displays content
   A: If the screen flickers, it is necessary to give priority to whether the power supply is sufficient. It is recommended to use a power adapter that supports QC3.0 or above to supply power to the monitor; if the power supply is normal and the screen flicker

4. Q: The screen color is abnormal
   A: Please use the OSD menu and reset the settings.

Maintenance Guidelines

Clean:

• Power off the monitor and unplug the power cord. Use a soft, clean cloth to clean the surface of the monitor. Moisten a cloth in a mild detergent to remove stubborn stains.
• Do not use cleaners containing alcohol or acetone. Use a special cleaner for liquid crystals. Never spray cleaner directly on the screen, as the cleaner may seep into the monitor and cause an electric shock.

The following phenomena are normal for monitors:

• You may find that the brightness on the screen is slightly uneven, depending on the desktop pattern you are using.
• After the same image is displayed for several hours, the image displayed on the previous screen may remain when switching images. The screen will slowly recover, or you can turn off the power switch for a few hours.
• When the screen goes black or flickering or cannot continue to work, please contact our after-sales team for repairs. Do not repair the screen yourself!

Repackage:

• Do not throw away the used pearl cotton and carton. When it is necessary to send logistics that may encounter violent transportation, repackage the monitor as it is.

Disposal:

• The monitor’s fluorescent light contains trace amounts of mercury.
• Do not dispose of the product as general household waste.
• Disposal of the product must comply with local regulations.
