Putting into Service

  • Working Place: Choose a suitable location and a non-slip, flat surface. Never place the device directly next to heaters or other heat sources. There is always the danger of fire!
  • Electrical Connection:
    • Connect the device to a duly installed 220-240V~50/60Hz protective contact socket.
    • Before inserting the plug into the socket, make sure that the mains voltage to be used matches that of the device. You can find this information on the nameplate.

Product Usage Instructions

Basic Settings
To select the fan speed, use the selector on the front to set one of the following speeds:

  • 0 = Turn OFF
  • 1 = Low
  • 2 = Medium
  • 3 = High

Blower Direction/Oscillation
You can choose from the two following options:

  1. Turn the device carefully with hands by holding the fan on the sides and turning it either to the left or to the right until the limit stop.
    Warning: Do not exceed this limit. The device must have been switched off before. The setting knob must be pulled out.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Switch off the fan and remove the plug from the power outlet before assembling, cleaning, or maintenance.

  2. Clean the plastic components by using a mild detergent and a damp cloth or sponge.
    Caution: Never use aggressive detergents, chemical cleaners, or solvents as they could damage the surface of plastic components.
    Note: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden, or abrasive cleaners to clean the appliance.

  3. Dry throughout before storage.

Warning

  • If you need to remove the safety guard, always switch the device off and remove the mains plug.
  • Under no circumstances should you immerse the device in water for cleaning purposes. Otherwise, this might result in an electric shock or fire.

General Safety Instructions

Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the instructions including the warranty, the receipt and, if possible, the box with the internal packing. If you give this device to other people, please also pass on the operating instructions.

  • Watch out for long hair! It can be caught in the fan owing to the air turbulence!

  • The appliance must be assembled completely before use!
  • Select a stable base to avoid the tipping of the fan during use!

Before first use

  • Take the appliance and accessories out of the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Before use, clean the motor housing and all the spare parts with a damp cloth.

Assembly instructions

BASE ASSEMBLY

  1. Position and insert the outer tube (12) to the base (13) aligned with the central hole. Insert and fasten the base screw (14).
  2. Loosen the height adjustment ring (11) from the top of the inner tube (10). Pull the inner tube out from the outer tube to adjust it to the desired height and tighten the height adjustment ring (11).
  3. Loosen the connection screw (9) on the back of the fan body and then slide the fan head down over the inner tube and tighten the screw (9). Make sure the connection screw is tightly secured.

BLADE AND GRILLE ASSEMBLY

  1. Unscrew the propeller cap (2) from the motor shaft by holding the motor shaft and rotating it clockwise.
  2. Unscrew the rear grid nut (4) from the front of the motor cover (7) by rotating it anticlockwise.
  3. Position the rear grid (5) against the front of the motor cover, ensuring that the locating pegs on the motor cover are engaged correctly in the holes on the rear grid.
  4. Replace and tighten the grid nut (4) by turning it clockwise.
  5. Push the propeller (3) onto the motor shaft, locating the slot on the back of the fan blade on to the drive pin that passes through the motor shaft.
  6. Tighten the propeller cap (2) by turning it anticlockwise.
  7. Position and place the front grid (1) to the rear grid (5), and push the front grid (1) until all the hooks of the rear grid hook the front grid.

Putting into Service

  • Working place

Use

Basic Settings
Set the blower inclination angle before starting the device. You can adjust the inclination angle by tipping the blower casing with both hands. The inclination angle amounts to approx. 15°.

Operating
To select the fan speed, use the selector on the front to set one of the following speeds:

  • 0= Turn OFF
  • 1 = Low
  • 2 = Medium
  • 3 = High

Blower Direction/Oscillation
You can choose from the two following options:

  1. Turn the device carefully with hands by holding the fan on the sides and turning it either to the left or to the right until the limit stop. Warning: do not exceed this limit. The device must have been switched off before. The setting knob must be pulled out.
  2. Select the automatic swinging direction by pressing in the knob. The device swings automatically within a range of 90°. This function is active only when the fan is on. To deactivate the function, pull out the setting knob.

Cleaning and Maintenance

  1. Switch off the fan and remove the plug from the power outlet before assembling, cleaning or maintenance.
  2. Clean the plastic components by using a mild detergent and a damp cloth or sponge. Caution: Never use aggressive detergents, chemical cleaners or solvents as they could damage the surface of plastic components. Note: Do not use chemical, steel, wooden or abrasive cleaners to clean the appliance.

Warranty Terms and Conditions

  1. The product is guaranteed for the period stipulated by the legislation where it is placed on the market, starting from the date of purchase, against manufacturing defects and/or workmanship. The lack of conformity manifested in this period is presumed to exist at the date of purchase. After this period, it is for the customer to prove that the lack of conformity already existed at the time of delivery.
  2. If, during the warranty period, the product is defective in normal use, the buyer should contact the selling establishment and send the appliance to the place indicated by the seller.
  3. The warranty is only valid upon presentation of the invoice proving the purchase and the completed warranty certificate (indicating the date of purchase, the name of the dealer, the reference of the model, and it is also recommended to indicate the serial number and lot number).
  4. The importer/seller reserves the right to refuse warranty assistance if such information has been deleted or altered after the original purchase of the product.
  5. The responsibility of the importer/seller includes in particular the costs of repairing and/or replacing the unit covered by the warranty with the reservation of the right to replace it with an equivalent product, in cases where it is not possible to repair it.
  6. The warranty does not apply to problems that are not directly related to defects in material, design or workmanship.
  7. This product is an appliance and is intended for home use only. The warranty will be void if the product is used for professional purposes.
  8. The warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse, improper installation, spillage, external factors, or intentional damage.
  9. The warranty does not cover damage resulting from falls, use of excessive force, blows, exposure to extreme environmental conditions or deterioration caused by the normal use of plastic parts or keyboards, as well as the use of batteries other than those specified in this manual. 10. The warranty does not cover installation and programming by the dealer. In particular, no claim for installation and free programming by the reseller may be accepted. 11. The warranty does not cover deficiencies that insignificantly impair the operation of the appliance. Other costs, such as installation, transportation and travel of the technician are expressly excluded from the warranty. 12. The applicability of the warranty presupposes that the appliance is sent to the seller or place indicated by him, complete and in well-protected packaging (if possible, in its original packaging) and accompanied by its sheet or warranty card duly filled out and proof of purchase.
  10. If after verification, it is found that there are no reasons for the claim, or that the product is not defective, the inherent costs will be imputed to the customer, and the dealer is authorized to charge those costs to the customer.
  11. The warranty will be void when it shows signs that an unauthorized person has attempted to carry out repairs, modifications or replacement of parts on the appliance.
  12. Repairs carried out after the end of the warranty period are subject to costs.
  13. This warranty does not affect your legal rights that you may have as a consumer under applicable national law governing the purchase of products where the product is sold.
  14. Warranty Period:
    • European Union countries – European Directives (EU) 2019/771 and (EU) 2019/770 apply on certain aspects of contracts for the purchase and sale of movable property and transposed into the national laws of their countries.
