SAFETY

  • By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.

  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

  • Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord cannot become entangled.

Children shall not play with the appliance. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless older than and supervised

  • This appliance is for indoor use only and is not suitable for use in barns, stables and similar locations.

  • WARNING: An electric shock hazard may exist if water from a garden hose is directed at the insect killer. When using extension cords, keep the socket-outlet away from moisture and avoid damage to the cord.

  • This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

  • The appliance is not to be used in locations where flammable vapour or explosive dust is likely to exist.

In a double-insulated appliance, two insulation systems are provided instead of an earth wire. No earthing means is provided on a double-insulated appliance, nor should a means for earthing be added to the appliance. Servicing a double-insulated appliance requires extreme care and knowledge of the system, and should only be done by qualified service personnel. The replacement parts for a double insulated appliance must be identical to the parts they replace. A double-insulated appliance is labelled with the words ‘CLASS II’ or ‘DOUBLE INSULATED”. It can also be identified with the double insulation symbol.


The product and packaging materials are recyclable, subject to extended manufacturer responsibility. Dispose it separately, following the illustrated packaging symbols, for better waste treatment. The Triman logo is valid in France only.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

  • Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
  • Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
  • Note: for safety reasons the appliance will stop working if one of the tubes are broken.

USE

  • This device is used to attract flying insects by UV light.
  • Use the power switch to start the device, after that the lamp will turn on and the fan inside will start turning.
  • This device works under high voltage, never touch the inside when the device is connected to the wall outlet.
  • After the use of the appliance, switch it off by using the power switch (on/off switch) and then unplug it from the power socket.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • If there are too many insects on the metal grid, brush the metal grid clean with a small dry brush, do not use water or any cleaning products.
  • You should regularly empty the tray, always remove the plug from the outlet before you empty the tray.

TIPS AND TRICKS

Replacing the lamp

  • Always remove the plug from the outlet before replacing the lamp.
  • Remove the screw on the front top of the device.
  • Now you will be able to replace the lamp.
