SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
- By ignoring the safety instructions the manufacturer cannot be held responsible for the damage.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
- Never move the appliance by pulling the cord and make sure the cord cannot become entangled.
- The appliance must be placed on a stable, level surface.

- This appliance is only to be used for household purposes and only for the purpose it is made for.
- To protect children against the dangers of electrical appliances, please make sure that you never leave the appliance unattended. Therefore you have to select a storage place for the appliance where children are not able to grab it. Make sure that the cable is not hanging in a downward position.

Cleaning and maintenance

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
- Take the appliance and accessories out the box. Remove the stickers, protective foil or plastic from the device.
- Before using your appliance for the first time, wipe off all removable parts with a damp cloth. Never use abrasive products.
- Put the power cable into the socket. (Note: Make sure the voltage which is indicated on the device matches the local voltage before connecting the device. Voltage 220V-240V~ 50/60Hz).
USE
- Remove the protective cover and clean the blades in hot soapy water then dry them. Attention! The blades are very sharp.
- Attach one blade to the other by the iron key in the slot to slide. Slide blades together until both plastic grease guards are in line.
- Insert the knife into the opening of the base by picking the two blades between thumb and forefinger. Always hold the knife with serrated edge away from you.
- Never hold the knife with the serrated edge down, it is recommended to leave the protective cover for the blades during inserting. Push the blade into the slot until they click into place. If one blade clicks before the other, then push the other blade even further until it clicks.
- Insert the plug into the socket and turn the knife on the pieces of food, the knife starts cutting after the on / off switch is pressed and will stop when it is released. Navigate the knife, no need to exert power, let the knife do the work. You can cut straight or oblique.
- Before removing the blades, always remove the plug from the outlet. Hold the blades on the plastic part, with the serrated edge away from you. Press release button and pull the blades out. Attention! The blades are very sharp. After use, place the protective cover back on the blades to avoid injury.
