INSTALLATION
Installing the smart chime
Plug the chime in the desired location.
Powering the push-button
- Remove the back by pushing in the tab on the bottom with a small flat-head screwdriver
- Rotate the battery cover LEFT and remove it
- Insert the battery POSITIVE POLE facing outward. Refer to figure below.
Testing
Temporarily position the push-button where it will be mounted. Press it to verify if the smart chime rings. If not, move the chime to a closer outlet and test again.
NOTE: Do not permanently mount the push-button until it is working properly. The chime and push-button are already synced. The range can vary with location, temperature, and battery condition.
Mounting the push-button
Option 1-Double-sided tape
Remove the paper from both sides of the tape, apply it to the back of the button and mount onto a clean surface.
Option 2 – Screws
- Remove the back by pushing in the tab on the bottom with a small flat
- head screwdriver Place the back on the door jamb and mark the two screw holes. Drill holes where you marked.
- Align the back, fasten screws and snap the front of the push-button back on.
CONNECTING INSTRUCTIONS
Download the Globe Suite T™ app from the iOS or Android store
Create an account and log in. Ensure your mobile device is running iOS 9.0/watches’ 2.0/Android™ 4.4 or higher.
Connect
Ensure the doorbell kit is powered and all requested permissions are enabled on your mobile device: Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Location Services.
On the app’s home screen, select the in the top-right corner and select “Add a device”. The app will detect it within a few seconds. When discovered, select “Add” beside the chime icon.
Setup
Name your chime and choose which room to place it in. You can now control it directly from the app.
Voice assistance
On the app’s home screen, select “Profile,” and select “Integration.” Choose your voice assistant and follow the instructions within the app.

Select the “How do I set device into pairing mode” link on the “Scan” page and follow the in-app instructions.

10 available tunes that can be assigned to any push-button connected to the chime.
Naming
Assign a unique name to each push-button that will display when you are notified.
Add/Remove
Connect up to 10 wireless push-buttons.
Low battery
Get notified when a battery needs to be replaced.
MANUAL CONTROL
No Wi-Fi. No problem. Continues operating as a regular doorbell if internet connection is lost.
Volume
4-step: 25%-50%-75%-100%
Unmute
Press either of the volume buttons to unmute the chime.
Tune selection
Press the function button to play the next tune. The last tune played will be assigned.
Low battery
If a push-button is pressed and the chime rings “Dingdong” 3 times the indicator light stays on for 10 seconds, the push-button battery is low.
TROUBLESHOOTING
A = cause B = solution
Chime doesn’t ring when a push-button is pressed
A) Push-button battery is not installed correctly.
B) Make sure batteries are installed according to the diagram inside the
push-button.
A) Push-button battery is dead
B) Check the charge of the push-button battery and replace if necessary.
A) Chime is not receiving power
B) Make sure the plug-in chime has power.
A) Chime and push-button are not synced.
B) Follow the steps:

Press and hold the function button on the chime until it sounds a “Beep-Beep”.

Press the push-button within 10 seconds. The chime will sound a “Beep-Beep” tone to indicate the
push-button is synced. -
Press the push-button to ensure operation.
A) The transmission codes of the push-button and chime don’t match.
B) Ensure the code of push-button and chime is consistent. Refer to “Code
conversion” instructions.
Push-button battery seems okay, but the chime does not work after installation.
A) The chime and/or push-button is mounted on or near metal.
B) Metal reduces transmission range. Use 1/4 in. to 1/2 in.
(6 to 13 mm) wood shims to move the chime or push-button away from the metal
surface.
A) The chime is mounted near a concrete floor or wall.
B) Concrete may reduce transmission range. Move the chime away from the
concrete surface.
A) The chime and push-button are installed too far apart.
B) Move either one closer to the other.
The chime rings when not intended to.
A) The chime is receiving interference from another wireless device.
B) 2 options:
- Convert the push-button and chime to 100M code. Refer to “Code conversion” instructions.
- Reset the chime and push-button:
- Remove the push-button battery. Wait 30 seconds.
- Press and hold the push-button for 10 to 15 seconds within 60 seconds after installing the battery into the push-button.
- Press and hold the Function button on the chime until the chime sounds a “Beep-Beep-Beep-Beep
- To re-sync the push-button and chime, press and hold the Function button on the chime until the chime sounds a “Beep-Beep”.
- Press the push-button within 10 seconds. The chime will sound a “Beep-Beep” tone to indicate the push-button is synced.
- Press the push-button to ensure operation.
CODE CONVERSION
Push-buttons and chimes that communicate with each other wirelessly, need to be running the same transmission code in order to work properly.
This item is able to toggle between 100M and 12E codes. By default, the push- button and chime are set to 100M front door. No need to convert the code for first usage.
Push-button
12E-Press the silicone button in the back for 3 seconds, the indicator light of the push-button will flash quickly once, indicating the push-button has been converted to the 12E code.
100M Press the silicone button in the back for 3 seconds, the indicator light of the push-button will flash 3 times. It indicates the push-button has been converted to 100M code.
Front and rear door Press the silicone button in the back for 1 second and release, push-button will be converted between front door and rear door.
NOTE: Push-button default pattern is front door. While the desired tune is playing, press the push-button to lock in selected tune. If the push-button is in rear door pattern, the doorbell will only ring as “Ding.
Chime
12E – After the power is turned on for about 3 seconds, the chime prompts “Ding”, meaning the doorbell code is 100M. Within one minute, press and hold the “+” volume button” and “function button” of the chime at the same time for about 10 seconds. You will hear the prompt sound “beep-beep”, then release the buttons, the chime will prompt “Ding Dong” which indicates that it has been converted to the 12E code. In this pattern, we should use 12E code push-button to sync and pairing. 100M-After the power is turned on for about 3 seconds, the chime prompts “Ding Dong”, meaning the doorbell code is 12E. Within one minute, press and hold the “+” volume button and “function button” of the chime at the same time for about 10 seconds. You will hear the prompt sound “beep-beep”, after release the buttons, the chime will prompt “Ding” which indicates that it has been converted to the 100M code. In this pattern, we should use 100M code push-button to sync and pair.
