PROFICARE Space Q45 Electric Hot Water Bottle
Unpacking the Appliance
- Remove the appliance from its packaging.
- Remove all packaging material, such as foils, filling material, cable ties and cardboard packaging.
- Check the appliance for possible transport damage to avoid hazards. Do not operate a damaged appliance. Return it to the dealer immediately.
Warnings for the Use of the Appliance

Do not insert needles or similar into the hot water bottle.

Do not use the appliance while it is charging!

Only charge the appliance in the horizontal position to avoid dry burning!

Do not charge the appliance with the charging socket facing downwards.

Do not charge the appliance if there is not enough water!

Avoid direct skin contact while using the appliance.
Risk of burns! -
Keep heated hot water bottle away from children!

Do not use as a continuous heat source with the charging station connected.

The appliance is maintenance-free. The user cannot add or drain water himself. Notes for Use

Apply the hot water bottle preferably to the following body regions: – Abdomen, neck and back

Place the hot water bottle on the corresponding body region with the charging socket facing upwards.

Check the temperature of the hot water bottle before you use it. If the temperature is too hot for you, let the hot water bottle cool down a little before using it.

The hot water bottle is ready for use within a short time. For safety reasons, the appliance is only heated up to approx. 65 °C before the overheating protection automatically stops the heating process. For safety reasons, reheating is only possible when the appliance has cooled down to approx. 50 °C.

The hot water bottle remains warm for a few hours after the charging process. (Depending on the ambient temperature)

Do not place any heavy objects on the hot water bottle! Do not sit on the hot water bottle.
Electrical Connection
- Check that the mains voltage you want to use matches that of the charging station. You will find the information on the type plate.
- Only connect the charging station to a properly installed socket.
Charging and Using the Appliance
Before you can use the appliance, you must charge it as follows:
- Place the hot water bottle flat on a stable and horizontal surface. The charging socket must be facing upwards.
- Fold open the cover of the charging socket. 3. First insert the plug connector of the charging station into the charging socket on the hot water bottle.
- When the hot water bottle has finished heating up, the control lamp goes out. First disconnect the mains plug from the socket.
- Hold the charging socket of the hot water bottle with one hand and then carefully pull out the plug connection of the charging station with the other hand.
- Now plug the mains plug of the charging station into the socket. The control lamp on the charging socket lights up.
- Close the cover of the charging socket. The cover must audibly click into place.
- The hot water bottle can now be used.
Cleaning
WARNING:
- The mains plug of the charging station must be disconnected from the socket before you clean the appliance. Wait until the hot water bottle has cooled down.
- Do not immerse the hot water bottle or the charging station in water or other liquids. It could cause an electric shock or fire.
CAUTION:
- Do not use a wire brush or other abrasive objects.
- Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
- Important! Make sure that no water runs into the plug connection of the hot water bottle or the charging station.
- Clean the surface of the hot water bottle and the charging station with a slightly damp cloth. If necessary, use some common hand dishwashing detergent.
- Wipe with a clean, dry, soft cloth.
- Allow the appliance to dry completely before storing it or using it again.
Storage
- If the appliance is being stored, allow it to cool down before stowing it away.
- Avoid bending the appliance sharply by placing objects on it during storage.
- We recommend that you store the appliance in its original packaging if you do not intend to use it for a long period of time.
- Always store the appliance out of the reach of children in a well-ventilated and dry place.
Troubleshooting
