Introduction

This wireless doorbell kit includes one CR2032 lithium battery operated transmitter and 2 plug-in receivers. It features 52 classic melodies with an adjustable volume control to meet your needs. This wireless doorbell kit is a great addition to any home as it is easy to set up and operate.

Activating

The CR2032 battery is pre-installed in the transmitter. Simply pull off the insulating film behind the battery to power on the transmitter.

Transmitter Installation

Install the mounting bracket using either the adhesive tape or the anchor plugs and screws, and then install the transmitter onto the bracket.

Using the adhesive tape

  1. Clean the appropriate location (ideally on a flat and smooth surface) with a damp cloth and let dry.
  2. Apply the double-sided adhesive tape to the back of the mounting bracket, stick the bracket on the wall, and firmly press for 30 seconds.
  3. Align the transmitter with the bracket and rotate the transmitter clockwise to fasten tightly.

Using anchor plugs and screws

  1. Draw 2 marks according to the mounting slots on the mounting bracket.
  2. Drill holes at the 2 marks and screw the bracket to the wall with the included anchor plugs and screws.
  3. Align the transmitter with the bracket and rotate the transmitter clockwise to fasten tightly.

Notes

  1. For optimal transmission, keep as few obstacles between the transmitter and receiver as possible.
  2. To prevent signal interference, avoid installing the transmitter on or near any metal or magnetic objects, such as iron doors.
  3. Avoid installing the receiver near appliances with strong electromagnetic radiation, such as TVs, induction cookers, microwave ovens, etc.
  4. It is recommended to plug the receiver into a power socket that is in a relatively high location. Avoid using a power socket with other appliances to reduce interference.
  5. Install the transmitter in a sheltered location. While the transmitter is IP55 water-resistant, it is not recommended to expose the transmitter to direct rain or to submerge directly in water. In case of ingress of water, take out the battery as quickly as possible and completely dry out the battery compartment before powering on.

Operating Instructions

Pairing method

  1. Plug the receiver into the power socket.
  2. Press and hold the Volume button on the receiver for 3 seconds to enter the pairing mode. The indicator will blink.
  3. Press the Push button on the transmitter and the receiver will chime “ding dong” to indicate the pairing is complete.

Notes

  1. Press any button on the receiver or wait for 60 seconds to exit the pairing mode.
  2. The receiver LED has a two-color indicator with blue and red lights. The blue indicator is the default light, and will illuminate during the first pairing. The red indicator will illuminate during the second pairing. The two-color indicator will alternate with the pairings.

Melody selection

There are 52 melodies for the doorbell kit. Press the Next button for the next melody and the Previous button for the last one. You can easily choose your favorite chime tone.

Volume adjustment

There are five volume levels in total and the minimum volume level is silent. Press the Volume button to select a lower volume level. When the volume reaches its minimum, press the button again and it would turn to the maximum volume.

Maintenance and Care

Battery replacement

  1. Rotate the transmitter counterclockwise.
  2. Pull out the old battery and remove it from the silicon battery casing.
  3. Place the new cell battery in the silicon casing such that the positive markings (+) inside the casing and on the battery are facing each other. Then, place it into the battery compartment.
  4. Reinstall the transmitter and test the transmitter to ensure it’s powered on.

Notes

  1. Be sure to keep the correct polarity (+) when replacing the cell battery.
  2. Make sure the battery is placed in the silicon casing before installing it into the battery compartment
