INSTRUCTIONS
USING THE LIGHT
Once the flashlight is on, use the COAST Quick Cycle™ switch to toggle through
the inspection beam, white C.O.B., and red C.O.B. modes by partially
depressing the power button. Completely depress the power button to turn off
the G23.
MOUNTING THE LIGHT
The G23 is equipped with a magnetic pocket clip for secure storage and hands-
free use. Before mounting the flashlight, rotate the pocket clip around the
body of the flashlight so the beam will be directed at the desired area. Then
place the pocket clip on an available magnetic object
POWERING THE LIGHT
The G23 can be powered with two COAST Extreme Performance™ AAA alkaline
batteries. To replace the batteries, unscrew the tailcap of the flashlight and
expose the battery compartment. Remove the old batteries and insert two new
AAA batteries with the positive terminal oriented toward the front of the
flashlight.
GO RECHARGEABLE!
Designed with COAST Dual Power™ technology, the G23 can also be powered with a
COAST Zithion-X™ rechargeable battery (sold seperately). To charge the
Zithion-X™ rechargeable battery, unscrew the tailcap and remove the battery
from the battery compartment. Plug the USB charging cable into the USB
charging cort of the Zithion-X™. Then plug in the cable at an available power
source.

CAUTION
Do not stare directly at the C.O.B. while using the COAST Quick Cycle™ switch
to cycle through the lighting modes. Do not attempt to use aftermarket
rechargeable batteries to power the G23.
