Safety information:

Whilst using this device, please ensure to follow the safety instructions to avoid any injury or electrocution.

  • Avoid using it in a very dry, extremely cold, wet or humid environment.
  • This clock is designed for individuals with hearing impairment, due to this it is extremely loud, please be aware of this and ensure you set the clock to a volume that you are comfortable with to avoid hearing damage.
  • The clock has a very bright LED display with three colour options, which can be adjusted to the user’s preference using the colour switch.
  • Please ensure whilst using the vibrating pad the wire is not causing a tripping hazard.
  • The vibrating pad provided should only be connected to the Vibrating Pad Port output socket (marked as Vibrating Port) on the back of the clock, never connect the vibrating pad to any alternative USB devices, this is only designed to work with the Echo PowerWake.
  • To clean the clock, use a soft cloth and inorganic cleaning solution.
  • When in use, always keep the clock on a secure surface to avoid damage or a tripping hazard due to the power of the vibrating pad.
  • The unit may get warm whilst in use, ensure it always has adequate ventilation.
  • Only use the Hearing Products Int Ltd approved mains adapter which is supplied with this unit, other power adapters may be dangerous or cause damage to the unit.
  • Please be aware that the alarm can only be used when the power adapter is plugged in and the power is switched on.
  • As a built-in safety feature, when the alarm goes off the volume will gradually increase to the set level. This is designed to give a more gradual waking up process and avoid hearing damage

Note:

  • Charging function may not be suitable for all types of mobile phones, tablets etc.
  • During a power outage, when battery backup is in use, the USB ports will NOT charge.

Note: The battery backup feature is not necessary to operate your digital alarm clock. It is optional to have the battery backup in case of a power outage. In the event of a power failure, the battery backup will automatically continue to maintain time. However, to prolong battery life the time will not be displayed. When the electrical power is restored, the time will be displayed. When the clock runs on the battery backup the alarm will NOT function. The clock may lose or gain a few minutes per hour. This may require resetting the time for precise timekeeping.

IMPORTANT: Extended storage can cause batteries to leak and damage the unit. Leaky batteries should be discarded immediately.Skin burns or other personal injury can result. Always dispose of batteries according to federal, state and local regulations.

Note: If no settings are made within 20 seconds, the clock will automatically return to display the normal time. If this happens, you will need to start the setting procedure again from step 1.

GETTING STARTED

Insert battery CR2032 provided into battery compartment.

Plug the power adapter into the back of the clock and the plug end into electrical socket. The display will turn on. Your clock is now ready to be set.

TIME & CALENDAR SETTINGS

  1. Press and Hold TIME/SET button until HOUR digits will flash.
  2. Press UP or DOWN buttons to set the correct hour.
  3. Press TIME/SET button once to set MINUTE (use UP or DOWN buttons)
  4. Press TIME/SET button once to select time format 12h or 24h
  5. Press TIME/SET button once to set the date, YEAR/MONTH/DAY (use UP or DOWN button)
  6. Once date is selected press TIME/SET button once to set SNOOZE TIME (between 5min to 60 mins)
  7. Press TIME/SET button once to save and exit setting mode.

Note: If no settings are made within 20 seconds, the clock will automatically return to display the normal time. If this happens, you will need to start TIME &CALENDAR SETTINGS procedure again from step 1.

ALARM SETTINGS (1 &2) 

  1. Press and Hold ALARM 1-2/SET button until HOUR digits will flash to set ALARM 1.
  2. Press UP or DOWN buttons to set the correct hour for ALARM 1.
  3. Press ALARM 1-2/SET button once to set the MINUTE (use UP or DOWN buttons)
  4. Press ALARM 1-2/SET button once to select alarm days: 1-7 (Monday-Sunday), 1-5 (Monday- Friday), 6- 7 (weekends)
  5. Press ALARM 1-2/SET button once to select melody- 5 melodies to choose from (use UP or DOWN button)
  6. Press ALARM 1-2/SET button once to select correct volume level (Level OFF and 1-15), use UP or DOWN button.
  7. Press ALARM 1-2/SET button once to activate or deactivate Vibrating Pad (use UP or DOWN button to ON/OFF vibrating pad)
  8. Press ALARM 1-2/SET button once to set the ALARM 2 and then repeat points 1-7 if needed.
  9. Save and Exit press TIME/SET button once.
  10. To turn desired alarm ON or OFF press the AL1 ON-OFF or AL2 ON-OFF button once.

Note: If no settings are made within 20 seconds, the clock will automatically return to display the normal time. If this happens, you will need to start ALARM SETTINGS (1 &2) procedure again from step 1.

Please note:

  • Once the alarms are set, the volume can be also adjusted via VOL button. Press and hold this button followed by UP or DOWN button to change volume level. To mute the sound set the volume level to 00.
  • As a built-in safety feature, when the alarm goes off the volume will gradually increase to the set level. This is designed to give a more gradual waking up process and avoid hearing damage.
  • When the alarm goes off the digits will flash to visually alarm you. If you wish to turn ON or OFF this function press the FLASH ON/OFF button once.
  • To check the alarms times, press ALARM1-2/SET button once to check ALARM 1 or twice to check ALARM 2.
  • To display the date (YEAR/MONTH/DAY/WEEK) press TIME/SET button accordingly.

When 12h format is in use make sure that PM indicator is set correctly.

SWITCHING ALARMS ON/OFF

To turn desired alarm ON or OFF press the AL1 ON-OFF or AL2 ON-OFF button once.

AL1 indicator will light up once the ALARM 1 is activated. AL2 indicator will light up once the ALARM 2 is activated.

SNOOZE FUNCTION

Press SNOOZE/LED button when the alarm is sounding to silence the alarm temporarily. ALARM indicator will flash to indicate that the clock is in snooze mode. To switch off snooze mode press any button (except VOL button) and the alarm will be deactivated for that day.

By default, the snooze is 5 minutes. This can be set as desired between 5 – 60 minutes. Refer to ALARM SETTINGS section of this instruction manual.

CHANGING CLOCK DISPLAY COLOURS AND DIMMER FUNCTION

To change colour of the display press SNOOZE/LED button to choose desired colour. This clock has three colours available WHITE/ORANGE/GREEN

To make a display lighter or darker use the wheel on the side of the clock (Display Dimmer).

VIBRATING PAD (BED SHAKER) SETTINGS

  1. Connect Vibrating Pad to the clock via Vibrating PAD USB socket located on the clock’s rear panel.
  2. Set desired vibration intensity (Low/Medium/High). See picture below.
  3. Set the Vibrating function ON or OFF (refer to ALARM SETTINGS 1&2).
  4. Vibrating function must be set separately for ALARM1 and ALARM2.

PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT CONNECT VIBRATING PAD TO USB CHARGING PORT AS IT MAY DAMAGE THE CLOCK OR PAD. IF VIBRATING PAD ACCIDENTLY CONNECTED TO CHARGING PORT USB IT WILL GIVE CONSTANT VIBRATION AND MAY DAMAGE THE PAD.

RESETTING CLOCK

To reset all settings, remove the battery CR2032 (back up) and disconnect the clock from the mains. All settings will be deleted, and the clock must be set again.
