Thank you for your purchase of the RENPHO Massage Cushion.
The massager offers a powerful percussion massage. While enjoying muscle and body relief, you should use it with care and safety in mind. To ensure safety and avoid any property damage, please read this manual carefully and use it as indicated.
Non-compliance may cause serious injuries or death and/or severe property damage.

Important Safety Instructions

When using the appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or cognitive capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be done by children.
This appliance should not be used for any medical purposes. It is designed for household use only.

DANGER – To reduce the risk of electric shock:

Always unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before cleaning.
NEVER use pins or other metallic fasteners with this appliance.
Keep the power cord and the device away from heat, hot surfaces, dampness and liquids. Avoid touching the plug or power switch with wet hands, or when you are standing in water.
Ensure that the electrical voltage and frequency of the circuit correspond to those indicated on the adapter.

WARNING -To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, please follow the instructions below:

Consult a doctor before using the device, if you fall into any of the following user groups:
- Pregnant or lying-in women
- Children
- Elderly (over 65 years old)
- Persons using a pacemaker or other implantable medical device
- Persons with heart disease, malignant tumours, or other serious health conditions
- Persons receiving medical treatment or feeling discomfort during massages
- Persons suffering from diabetes, thrombosis, varicose veins
- Persons with high or abnormal blood pressure
- Persons with skin infections, sensitivity, redness, wounds, and/or burns on the skin
Never cover the device when it is in operation.
It is prohibited for non-professional personnel to repair the device or replace parts.
If you feel unwell or in any unusual discomfort, please stop using the device immediately.
An appliance should NEVER be left unattended when plugged in.
Close supervision is necessary when this device is used by, on, or near children, invalids, or disabled persons.
DO NOT use attachments not recommended by RENPHO.
NEVER operate this device if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, has been damaged, or dropped into water.
DO NOT use this device in close proximity to loose clothing, jewellery, or long hair.
DO NOT operate in moist or wet conditions.
DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being administered.
DO NOT fully cover the device while massaging. Excessive heating can occur and cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
DO NOT carry this device by supply cord or use cord as a handle.
To disconnect, turn off the device before removing the plug from the outlet.
DO NOT use this device for more than 30 minutes at a time.
Extensive use could lead to the product’s excessive heating and shorter life. Should this occur, discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.
NEVER use this device directly on the skin, swollen or inflamed areas, or skin eruptions.
Never use this device while driving, sleeping, or ingesting substances that reduce reaction times (e.g. painkiller medications, alcohol).
Avoid creasing the device.
DO NOT sit or stand on the massage (back) part of the device.
The device should only be used when attached to a chair with the back in the vertical position.
When the device is working, do not touch the moving massage mechanism with any body part except your back.
To avoid pinching, DO NOT lean on the back massage mechanism in the cushion when adjusting your body position.
Caution is needed when using it on upholstered furniture.
The device has a heated surface. Persons insensitive to heat must be careful when using the appliance.
Use heated surfaces carefully. May cause serious burns. The unattended use of heat by children or incapacitated persons may be dangerous.
Temperatures sufficiently high to cause burns may occur regardless of the control setting. Do not use it on an infant or invalid or on a sleeping or unconscious person. Do not use it on insensitive skin or on a person with poor blood circulation. Check the skin in contact with the heated area of the appliance frequently to reduce the risk of blistering.

Using the Massage Cushion

Important tips before use

It is NOT recommended to use this Neck and back Massager in a vehicle’s driver seat or while operating a vehicle.
It is NOT recommended to lay the Neck and back Massager completely flat.

Preparation

Place the massager on a recliner, sofa seat or office chair, fasten the straps and secure the massager to the chair.
When the adapter is plugged in, the power button on the controller will flash red.
The back massage nodes will move and return to the default position and once complete, the red light will go out and enter standby mode.
You can press the power button now to turn the massager on or you can just press the power button and use all functions after powering on without waiting for the reset process to be complete.

Operation Instruction

Press the Power ON/OFF Button to toggle the massager ON or OFF. The indicator light will turn red indicating that the massager is on. The massager will be in Default Mode. Default Mode: Vibration OFF, Forward Neck Massage (Heated) and Full Back Massage with Low Intensity (Heated).
Press the Neck Massage Button to select between 2 different massage directions (Forward/Reverse). The default direction setting is Forward.

Attention

Press the Neck Massage Button to adjust the rotation direction of the massage heads.
Press the Neck Massage Button again to stop the neck massage and heating function.
Press the Neck Massage Button for the third time to start the neck massage (Not Heated). At this time, you can only turn on the heating function by pressing the “HEATING” button.

Long press the Up or Down Button to position the Neck Pillow Massager higher or lower as needed.
Press the Neck Auto Button to activate the auto neck massage mode. In this mode, the neck massage pillow will automatically detect and position itself at your cervical vertebra, and then massage up and down your whole neck.
Press the Neck Heating Button to activate/inactivate the neck heating function as desired.
Press the Back Massage Button to activate the back massage function and choose the target areas as desired. There are 3 target areas available (Full/Lower/Upper). The default area setting is Full Back.
Press the Back Spot Button to stop the back massage nodes at the exact spot you wish. Back massage heads will keep massaging this spot for a targeted massage.
Press the Back Heating Button to activate/inactivate the back heating function.
Press the Seat Vibration Button to activate the seat vibration function and adjust vibration intensities. There are 3 intensities available (L/M/H).
Press the Back Intensity Button to adjust back massage intensities. There are 3 intensities available (L/M/H), default is low intensity.
Press the Auto Button to select the Auto Massage Mode. In this mode, the neck massage section will work in Neck Auto Massage Mode, Full Back Massage (Low Intensity) with Heat, and Medium Seat Vibration.

Attention

Press the Auto Button to turn on/off the Auto mode.
To use any of the functions of neck massage alone, only you press the Neck Massage Button first then you press other function buttons to have corresponding functions.
To use any of the functions in back massage alone, only you press the Neck Massage Button first then you press other function buttons to have corresponding functions.
Press the Seat Vibration Button to turn on / off normally and adjust the vibration frequency.

USAGE NOTICE

Power-off
The massage nodes will reset by moving back to the original place when turned off by the controller. When you turn it off directly by plugging out the power adapter, the reset will start when turned on again, which will take 10-15 seconds with the indicator light flashing. Press the power button to turn it on.
15-minute Timer (Not exceeding 30 minutes every time is recommended to get the best massage feeling.)
Automatic Detection Of The Neck Height
The Neck Pillow will automatically detect the neck massage area.

If you feel uncomfortable, you can long-press the up/down neck massage button to adjust the height which is suitable for your neck massage.

Product Care and Maintenance

Place the massager in a safe, cool, and dry place when not in use.
Always unplug the massager prior to cleaning.
After use, wipe the massager with a soft, damp cloth using non-abrasive cleaners. If necessary, clean with a sterilizer.
DO NOT submerge the massager in water or any other liquid.
Keep away from all solvents and harsh detergents.
DO NOT attempt to repair this massager. There are no user-serviceable parts.
