Please read the following instructions carefully before using the BOSS Hand Blender :
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility or call our customer service number for information on examination, repair, or adjustment.
- Always unplug the appliance from the mains before you assemble, disassemble, clean or make adjustments to any of the accessories. Do not leave Hand Blender unattended while it is operating.
- To protect against fire, electric shock & personal injury do not immerse the cord, plus or motor unit in water or any other liquid. Only use a moist cloth to clean the motor unit.
- Do not use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer as there is a danger of fire, electric shock or personal injury.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven. Do not use Hand Blender in saucepan directly on stove top. Remove Pan from the flame before using your Hand Blender.
- Hand Blender with Plastic Stick is not suitable for hot liquids.
- Do not allow liquids to go above the blender shaft(into the motor unit)
- Don’t let rotating blades touch the mains. Take Care when handling blades as they are very sharp.
- If the blades get stuck, unplug the appliance before you remove the ingredients that block the blades.
- Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from blades during the operation to reduce the risk of injury to persons and/or damage to the Hand Blender.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Do not let the mains lead hang over the edge of a worktop where a child could reach it.
- This appliance is intended for household use only.
How To Use Your BOSS Hand Blender
The hand blender is intended for blending liquids, e.g. dairy products, sauces, fruit juices, soups, mixed drinks and shakes, for making baby food etc.

Before first use wash the parts that come into contact with food using soapy water, rinse in clean water & wipe with dry cloth. Take care not to wet the motor unit. Check the voltage on rating plate do match your house electric supply.

Attach the blade on Hand Blender shaft. Do not push too hard.

Put the ingredients in the beaker. Plug it into the wall outlet.

Press the on/off button or the turbo speed button to switch on the appliance.
When you use the on/off button, you can adjust the speed with the speed selector. The higher the speed, the shorter the processing time required. When you use the turbo speed button, the appliance operates at maximum speed. In this case, you cannot adjust the speed with the speed selector. -
Move the appliance slowly up and down and in circles to blend the ingredient.

Unplug the Hand Blender before changing or cleaning any accessories.
Hints For Smooth Blending:
- Hard food such as raw vegetables should be cut into small pieces. Let hot ingredients cool down before you chop them, blend them or pour them into the beaker
- When mixing liquids, use a tall container or make small quantities at a time to reduce spillage.
- Do not overload the appliance by putting in too much food. Switch off the blender and allow the motor to cool down.
Blade Type & Function
Mincer Blade
It chops, minces, liquidizes, mashes, vegetables, purees, and also mixes light
dough. Ingredients should be cut into smaller pieces. Place the stem in the
ingredients and work it around container. For more creamy texture continue for
a few more moments.
Whisk Blade
It is used for liquid of all kinds such as cocktails, milkshakes, buttermilk
etc. The six openings are designed to achieve an optimal blend of ingredients
in a few seconds Use the low speed when using with solids and high speed with
liquid
Beater Blade
It whips, beats and aerates cream, cake dough etc. Warped shape allows it to
emulsify liquids and inject air with every rotation. Move the blender slowly
up and down and tilt slightly to work air into the liquid or paste. Be careful
not to raise the blade over the surface of the mixture. Use a tall and narrow
container for best results.
Chopper Blade
This specially designed shape blade simultaneously chops and blends products
like spinach,cabbage, and other steamed vegetables in water.
Chutney Pot is useful for grinding small quantities of spices & making different types of Chutneys.
- Put the ingredients to be ground in the chutney jar
- The Blade is loaded first and then the other ingredients are added
- The lid is closed and blender (without blade) is placed on it. First use slow speed & then high speed to obtain uniformly blended Chutney
- Cut/break ingredients into smaller pieces for best results
The chopper is intended for chopping ingredients such as nuts, hard
vegetables, fruits, hard cheese, herbs, dry bread etc. Be very careful when
you handle the blade unit, the blades are very sharp. Be particularly careful
when you remove the blade unit from the chopper bowl, when you empty the
chopper bowl and during cleaning.
Holding the plastic handle of the blade, insert into the shaft of the chopper
bowl Cut/break ingredients into smaller pieces. Fill the jar with ingredients.
Hold the chopper bowl with one hand, with the other; turn the upper housing
clockwise until it locks firmly to the chopper bowl (Refer Figure No.2)
Place the blender on the four slot driven collect on the upper housing keeping
the blender (Without Blade) vertical. (Refer Figure No.3 & 4)
Turn on the blender and ingredients will be chopped or grated in seconds To
unlock the housing, hold the chopper bowl in one hand, with other hand; turn
it anti-clockwise (Refer Figure No.S)
Note : If the ingredients stick to the wall of the chopper bowl, loosen
them with a spatula or by adding liquid. Do not process more than 1 batch
without interruption. Let the appliance cool down for 5 minutes, before you
continue processing.
Soup Jar
The perforate Jar can be used to make soups from boiled vegetables, which are
loaded in the Jar. Blender with cutting blade is inserted in the Jar and
turned on. The fibres and seeds are retained in the jar which can be cleaned
separately
Wall-mounting stand
Sturdy PP wall-mounting stand, to hold the blender on the wall and storage for
different blades. It is lightweight and compact and takes less space on your
kitchen shelf.
