Introduction
The Govee Wireless Thermometer Hygrometer includes all fundamental features in addition to sophisticated features like remote monitoring and temperature and humidity graphs. For homes, greenhouses, and other locations, our humidity meters are dependable and simple to use. The clever hygrometer sensor from Switzerland has a temperature accuracy of 0.54°F and a 40% rise in humidity of 3%RH. You may always get the most recent temperature and humidity changes with a refresh rate of up to 2 seconds. This room humidity gauge has a 3-inch bright LCD screen with prominent numbers, making it simple to read. You can always be aware of the indoor humidity thanks to the comfort indicators (dry/comfort/wet) and maximum/minimal temperature humidity recordings.
As soon as the temperature or humidity departs from the predetermined range, you’ll get an immediate alarm. Even when you’re not near the device, you can still be aware of the situation in your bedroom, infant room, wine cellar, basement, plant nursery, or any other room. Plan according to historical temperature and humidity information. The 20-day curve graphs provide a direct progression of the changing data. PREPARATION BEFORE USING
Place the battery (Make sure the electrode direction is correct).
DOWNLOADING THE GOVEE HOME APP
Download the Govee Home app from the App Store (iOS devices) or Google Play (Android devices).
CONNECTING TO BLUETOOTH
- Turn on Bluetooth in your phone and get close to the Thermo-Hygrometer; (Notice: Android device users should turn on Location and iOS users should tap “Setting – Govee Home – Location -Always” in your phone.)
- Open Govee Home, tap “+” icon at the top right corner and select “H5075”.
- Follow instructions in app to complete connecting.
- It shows Bluetooth- connected icon on LCD screen once connection completed.
- Please check the above steps and try again if connection failed.

TROUBLESHOOTING
CANNOT CONNECT TO BLUETOOTH.
- Make sure Bluetooth in your phone has been turned on.
- Connect to the thermo-hygrometer in the Govee Home app instead of Bluetooth list in your phone.
- Keep the distance between your phone and the device less than 50m/164ft.
- Keep your phone as close to the device as possible.
- Make sure that Android device users turn on Location and iOS users select “Setting – Govee Home – Location -Always” in the phone.
DATA IN THE APP IS NOT UPDATED.
- Make sure the device has connected to the Govee Home app.
- Make sure that Android device users turn on Location and iOS users select “Setting – Govee Home – Location -Always” in the phone.
CANNOT EXPORT DATA IN THE APP.

WARNING
- The device should work in an environment with a temperature ranging from 0°C to 50°Cand humidity from 0% to 99%.
- Please take out batteries if you don’t use the device for an extended period of time.
- Prevent dropping the device from the high place.
- Do not disassemble the device violently.
- Do not immerse the device in the water.
CAUTION:
Risk of explosion if battery is replaced by an incorrect type. Dispose of used batteries according to the instructions.
FAQs
Does this support multiple sensors?****
Yes, you can add multiple Govee Thermometer Hygrometers to our Govee Home APP to monitor humidity and temperature rate.
Can this be used in a refrigerator or freezer?****
As Per Govee support: The temperature range is -20C – 60C (-4F- 140F). So, It certainly has the temperature range to handle a fridge or freezer, but I wonder if the electronics can function properly in the freezer. Need any help, please contact us to support@govee.com.
Do you have to use the app to export data or is there an api available?****
If you’re a DIY electronics type, you can easily use an ESP32 (or smart switch, etc. with an ESP32) running Tasmota with Bluetooth and “Blerry” to monitor these units. I have done so with four of these thermometers, monitored by two devices. They report over MQTT, and you can do what you like with the data.
Does this log data for 20 days without a phone connected?****
The device itself can save 20-day data. The app and cloud can save 2-year data. When you come back to the Bluetooth range to refresh the graph page and wait for loaded 100%, it will upload the latest 20-day data to the app.
Any way to connect to this without their proprietary app? From my pc/laptop/server?****
Please download Govee Home app on your phone, then you can check the temperature and the humidity on your phone.
Can the data be exported to CSV?****
Yes, you can export latest 2 months data to CSV format at any time. Need any help, please contact us to support@govee.com.
Can I forward a notification my phone gets to another phone as a message?****
Our APP supports multi-users logging in the same account, could you please let your families download Govee APP and log in with your account? So that both of your phone can receive notifications when you are in Bluetooth range.
Can this interface work with raspberry pi or windows laptop using available open source code?****
It works with their phone app via Bluetooth. You would have to reverse engineer it. I don’t they publish the handshake/commands.
Can rechargeable nimh batteries be used? they have a nominal voltage of 1.2 v, while dry batteries are 1.5 v.****
I don’t know why not. Everyone uses rechargeable batteries in every other device that takes AA batteries and they work just fine…they just don’t last as long. If I can use rechargeable batteries in an Xbox controller, I’m pretty sure they will work in this tiny instrument.
Does the device continue collecting data even if I’m too far away to connect to Bluetooth? will the data upload once I’m back in range?****
The data will keep collecting in the device and store in the device for 20 days. It is recommended to connect the device every 20 days at most to avoid losing data.
Can you view the historical data graph from a browser, or are you required to use a mobile app?****
You can check the historical data graph via Govee Home app on your mobile phone. But you can export data to your email box manually. Need any help, please contact us to support@govee.com.

Does it measure in centigrade too?****
Yes, please press the button on the temperature sensor once, then the temp units will be switched. It can show as F or C.
Can I disable gps and cloud connection required by govee and still have data saved on my iPhone privately?****
You can set it as enable location access while using. The Bluetooth device will have its own Bluetooth range. Bluetooth device needs location access to activate Bluetooth and help you get the real-time data. Hope we could have your kind understanding. Need any help, please contact us via support@govee.com.
