Precautions
- Before using the product, please confirm whether the Display ink driver is installer.
- Display link is a flexible and versatile technology that’s great for most users’ workflow. But there are a few scenarios where it’s not the right fit such as gaming and HDCP ( copy-protected ) content playback from Blu-ray/Netflix/Prime/iTunes/Hulu/etc.
- The HDMl1 interface is implemented using display port technology. Before using it, you must confirm that your computer interface supports the display port alt mode protocol in order for it to work. The video interfaces of HDMl2/DP use display link technology. Before using them, you need to download and install the display link driver in order for it to work.
- The GIISSMO 14-in-1 docking station comes with a 130W power adapter that can provide direct power to your computer. However, your computer’s interface must support the Power Delivery protocol in order for it to charge your computer.
- When using multiple USB interfaces to output files, it is not recommended to use a video interface to watch videos, as it may cause video latency and lag issues
Display link Driver Installation
The dock uses Display link technology to provide universal multi- monitor
support for a wide range of computers and operating systems. The latest
Display link software should be installed following these steps:
Download the Display link driver for your operating system from
https://www.synaptics.com
Run the installer once downloaded and follow the prompts Restart your machine

FAQ
Q: External USB 3.0 Media Card Reader is not detected.
A: Unplug from the power, wait 10 seconds, and then reconnect. Update to the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver
Q: HDCP content is not able to display on the attached monitor
A: HDCP content support is currently not available.
Q: Display link Driver not able to install
A: Get the driver by: Download the latest driver from Display link website.
Q: Laptop failed to wake up from Ethernet port
A: Check the settings under BIOS Items to make sure laptop supports wake-up- from-Ethernet port function.
Q: Laptop failed to boot with dock connected
A: Remove all USB devices connected to the dock; some unqualified boot devices may cause lock up at boot screen.
Q: USB ports are not functioning on the docking station
A: Unplug from the power, wait 10 seconds, and then reconnect. Update to the latest USB 3.0 host controller driver
