- Requirements for operation, maintenance, and servicing are included in the user manual. Read the entire operating manual before using the shredder.
- Keep away from children and pets. Keep your hands away from the slot input. Whenever the device is not in use, switch to position turned off or disconnected from the network.
- Keep inappropriate objects away – gloves, jewelry, clothes, hair, etc. into the shredder slot. If an object is pulled through the top slot set the switch to the Retract (0) position until the material is ejected.
- DO NOT use aerosols or lubricants to clean the shredder or its vicinity petroleum or spray lubricants.
- DO NOT USE THE SHREDDER TO CLEAN COMPRESSED AIR.
- Fumes from petroleum-based carriers or lubricants may catch fire, causing serious injury.
- Do not turn on a damaged or malfunctioning shredder. Do not disassemble shredders. Do not place the shredder near or over a source of heat or water.
- The shredder is equipped with an ON/OFF switch. (F) which must be set in the ON position (I) for the device to work. In case of danger, turn the switch to the OFF position (ABOUT). This will immediately stop the shredder from working.
- On shredder shredders, avoid touching the cutting blades visible below the head.
- The shredder should be connected to a wall socket or a socket with voltage and amperage to comply with the ratings given on the label.

BASICS OF OPERATING THE SHREDDER
Continuous operation:
- Maximum 30 minutes
- NOTE: After each cut, the shredder will cut for a short time works until the entry slot is empty.
- Continuous operation lasting more than 30 minutes will result in automatic interruption of the device operation for 50 minutes to allow it to cool down
PAPER, CARD, or CD

ACTIVATING THE FUNCTION AND CHECKING ITS OPERATION
- Set the switch to the ON position o To activate SafeSense®
- Touch the test area and check if the indicator SafeSense® lights up
- SafeSense® feature is turned on and working correctly

MAINTENANCE OF THE DEVICE
OILING THE SHREDDER
- The felling cutting blades require periodic cleaning and oiling to maintain optimal operating parameters. If they are not oiled, the shredder can accept a smaller number of sheets, work noisily while shredding, and stop working after some time.
- To avoid such problems, you should oil the shredder every time emptying the waste bin.
FOLLOW THE OIL APPLICATION PROCEDURE BELOW AND REPEAT TWICE
- Turn the switch on Off ( ) position
- Apply oil to the area entry slot.
- Turn the switch to the Reverse ( <) position for 2-3 seconds
- NOTE Only use vegetable oil in a long nozzle container (not aerosol), e.g. Fellowes 3525
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Overheat warning light: When this light is on, it means that the shredder has become too hot and needs to cool down. Warning LED informing about overheating, it lights up while the shredder is cooling down.
- The shredder cannot be used in cooling mode. More information about the continuous operation of the device and its duration cooling time is provided in the “Basic shredder operation” section.
- Bin Open: When the bin is open, the shredder does not operate. If this light is on, close the basket to resume operation
- Bin Full: When this LED is on, it means that the shredder bin is full and needs to be emptied. Use Fellowes 36052 shred bags
- Removing Paper: If this light is on, set the switch to the Reverse ( <) position and remove the paper. Reduce the number of sheets of paper accordingly and reload the paper to the slot.
- SafeSense® indicator: The SafeSense® indicator lights up when your hands are too close to the paper slot. At the same time, work is automatically interrupted by shredders.
