PlayMonster 23108 Okay Genius Fun Family Game Night Card Game

INSTRUCTION

OBJECT:
Think like the Genius and match their answer!

SET UP:
Set the deck of cards in the center of the table.

Decide who gets to be the
Genius first. We recommend selecting the player with the best opinions to be the Genius first!
Give the Genius the dry-erase board and the marker.
Distribute answer sheets from the provided pad to each player (Including the Genius! They’ll need one for the next round).
Give every player a writing utensil (the Genius will start with the marker, but will need something to write with for the rest of the game). We recommend using a pencil on the answer sheets so you can erase, but if your genius is better expressed through crayon or glitter pen, who are we to judge?
Note : Please only write with the dry-erase marker on the dry-erase board.
Finally, decide how many rounds you want to play.
We recommend playing five or six rounds with a smaller group, and three or four rounds with a larger group, but ultimately it’s up to you after all, you’re a genius!

PLAY:
Have the Genius flip over a card from the deck and read it out loud. The card will ask something that has a numerical answer, like “How many spoons do you need for a respectable spoon collection?”

These questions don’t have a “correct” answer that’s where the Genius comes in. Whatever the Genius’ answer to the question is, that is THE ANSWER to the question. It’s up to everyone else to use their knowledge of the Genius to guess what their answer is. The Genius will secretly write down on their dry- erase board what their answer to the question is, while everyone else writes down what they think the Genius wrote. Once everyone has an answer, players reveal their answers to the Genius.

Then, the Genius reveals their (Correct!) answer. Whoever is closest to the Genius’ answer gets to keep the card.

If two or more players get the right answer (or the closest answer), each player gets a point. Go ahead and give one player the card and have the other player(s) either mark the point on their answer sheet or use their answer sheet as a placeholder card and grab a fresh sheet to write their next answer on.

Play then moves on with the player to the left of the Genius taking the whiteboard and becoming the new Genius. If players still have space on their answer sheet, they can erase or cross out their previous answer to use the sheet again. Or grab a fresh sheet for your new answer!

Win the game by getting the most answers correct and prove once and for all that you’re the ultimate GENIUS! (Well, at least until the next time you play…)
