Fortdows B0BY8XMYRT Car Stereo Radio

Tools required for disassembly

1. crowbar
2. screwdriver

STEP 1

1. Use a plastic pry tool to pry the board under the radio, and remove the two eight millimeter bolts of the plastic trim

2. Pull out the panel under the steering wheel

3. Remove the screws that fixed the whole top panel, then pull out the whole top panel and unplug its connector ? ,

4. Pull out the original radio and unplug all the connectors

5. Check the cable accessories of the new car radio system

6. Take down the HVAC control board, air outlet and relat­ed accessories of the old radio panel, and install them to the new car radio

7. Remove these white and black small chips of the original head unit and install them on the new radio unit
   Kind tips Before the replacement job, you should prepare tools like plastic pry tool and screwdriver and make sure the car power is cut off in the process of upgrade.
   

8. Correspondingly connect cables between new car radio system and the car

9. Turn on the car to test whether the new car radio unit work normally

10. If there is no problem, fix the new radio in the dashboard, and install all the panel accessories in the original position

STEP 2 Carplay Connect method

Method 1: How to use the carplay

• Enable the Bluetooth on your iphone and pair it with the radio. (Pairing code: 0000)
  NOTE
  If you want to Reset this Radio, please enter the Factory password: 3368 or

  * Turn on the main page and open “Zlink5” app.
  * After opening “Zlink5”, Check the iphone,
  * “Use CarPlay car?” will pop up, click to select “Use CarPlay”.

PS:
The initial connection may take 1 to 5 minutes due to the large number of mobile phone file in­formation.

Method 2: How to use Andriod autowired)?

1. Be sure your android’s phone has be installed the ‘android auto’ app.
2. Connect the phone with the radio via original usb cable.
3. Turn on the main page and open “Zlink5” app.
