INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on purchasing an Air Vue TM Digital Wireless Monitor! With
this manual, you can properly install and operate the unit. The wireless
monitor is intended to be installed as a supplemental aid to the standard
rearview mirror that already exists in your vehicle. The monitor should not be
used as a substitute for your vehicle’s standard rear-view mirror or any other
mirror. In some jurisdictions, it is unlawful for a person to drive a motor
vehicle equipped with a TV viewer or screen in front of the driver’s seat or
any location visible, directly or indirectly, to the driver while operating
the vehicle.
Please read all of the installation instructions carefully before installing
the product. Improper installation will void manufacturer’s warranty.

USAGE: The Rear View Camera System is designed to help the driver safely
detect people and/or objects helping to avoid damage or injury. However, you
the driver, must use it properly. Use of this system is not a substitute for
safe, proper or legal driving.
- Never back up while looking at the monitor alone. You should always check behind and around the vehicle when backing up, in the same way as you would if the vehicle did not have the Rear View Camera System. If you back up while looking only at the monitor, you may cause damage or injury. Always back up slowly.
- The Rear View Camera System is not intended for use during extensive backup maneuvers or backing into cross traffic or pedestrian walkways.
- Please, always remember, the area displayed by the Rear View Camera System is limited. It does not display the entire panorama that is behind you.
SAFETY INFORMATION
INSTALLATION
Electric shock or product malfunction may occur if this product is installed
incorrectly.
- Use this product within the voltage range specified. Failure to do so can cause electronic shock or product malfunction.
- Take special care when cleaning the monitor.
- Make sure to firmly affix the product before use.
- If smoke or a burning smell is detected, disconnect the system immediately.
- Where the power cable may touch a metal case, cover the cable with a friction tape. A short circuit or disconnected wire may cause a fire.
- While installing the RVS System be careful with the wire positioning in order to avoid wire damage.
- The RVS System should only be used when the vehicle is in reverse.
- Do not watch movies or operate the monitor while driving; as it may cause an accident.
- Do not install the monitor where it may obstruct drivers view or obstruct an air bag device.
- Dropping the unit may cause possible mechanical failure.
- When in reverse, monitor buttons are not functional

PRECAUTIONS
- Do not expose the monitor to excessive heat or coldness. Storage temperature is -30~+80°C; Operating temperature is -20~+70°C; with a maximum relative humidity of 90%.
- Never use this device near a bathtub, wash basin, kitchen, damp basement, swimming pool or similar places.
- Never use this device in the environment with excessive moisture, dust or smoke.
- Avoid dropping or striking.
- Never use this device in enclosed spaces, areas with excessive vibration or subject to severe impacts.
- Never puncture, scratch, or use abrasive cleaning materials on this device.
- Do not place cables where they may be pinched or stepped on.
- Leave at least a 2″ space between the monitor and walls, glass or other objects to allow adequate air circulation around the device.
- This monitor is not designed to be waterproof.
Operating Precautions
- The device may be powered by a 12 or 24 volt automotive battery or vehicle electrical system.
- Make sure all cables are correctly connected. Observe polarity. Improper cable connections may damage the monitor. Remove the power cable connections when you do not intend to use the device.
1. High voltage is present within the monitor. Opening monitor case should
only be performed by professionals.
2. Do not watch any video while driving unless you are monitoring rear view
camera display.
Occasionally, a few highlights or dark spots may occur on the LCD screen. That
is a very common phenomenon in active matrix display technology, and it
doesn’t necessarily indicate any defects or faults.
MAINTENANCE
- Remove all the cable connections from the monitor before cleaning the device.
- Use a mild household detergent and clean the unit with a slightly damp, soft cloth.
- Never use strong solvents such as thinner or benzine, as they might damage the finish of the device.

PARTS IDENTIFICATION
REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION

MUTE (Mute) – Press to select MUTE or enable sound.

POWER (Power switch) – Press to turn on / off the monitor.

OK – Press OK button to enter menu item or save user settings.
Press OK button – shortcut for start / stop recording. -
MENU – Press to show menu or exit menu.

VOL(-) – Volume decrease and menu selection left.

VOL (+) – Volume increase and menu selection right.

MIR – MIR-Flip selection.
BASIC OPERATION
7.1. Installation of Center Mounting Bracket
- Adjust monitor level by sliding the support to the desired height.
- Adjust the angle of the monitor and tighten the knob on the center mounting bracket.
7.2. Installation of U-support Bracket
CONNECTION DIAGRAM
- Red wire to positive power supply of DC/10-32V.
- Black wire to Ground.
- Connect the transmitter and display monitor to the same DC power circuit to achieve reliable pairing.
MENU OPERATION AND FUNCTIONAL SPECIFICATION
9.1 Preview Interface Under the main page, press the menu button on the monitor or infrared remote control or click (touch operation is disabled by default) in the red frame area to call out the main menu
- If the Pair Request sent by the Transmitter has not been received for 2s in a row, the following picture will be displayed.
- If the monitor receives the Pair Request sent by the Transmitter, the following picture will be displayed, and the pairing will start at this time
- After the pairing is successful, the paired prompt will be displayed for a short time and the prompt will clear automatically and start to display the camera image
- If 2.4GHz signal is lost, the monitor will display NO SIGNAL and quickly re-enter the pairing state.
9.2 Main Menu Click the corresponding icon (or select the corresponding icon and press the OK button on the display or infrared remote control) to enter the selected function interface. Click the part outside the red box (or press the MENU button on the display or infrared remote control) to Exit the menu selection interface, long press the POWER button on the display to turn on/off the touch screen operation

Camera Brightness: Drag the corresponding slider bar to adjust the brightness.
Contrast: Drag the corresponding slider bar to adjust the contrast.
Saturation: Drag the corresponding slider bar to adjust the saturation.
Hue: Drag the corresponding slider bar to adjust the hue.
Volume: Drag the corresponding slider bar to adjust the volume.
H Mirror: If this is set to ON, the corresponding recording channel is flipped horizontally. If OFF, the corresponding channel is displayed normally without flipping.
V Mirror: If this is set to ON, the corresponding recording channel is flipped vertically. If OFF, the corresponding channel is displayed normally without flipping.
Display Only in Reverse: If it is set to on, the monitor display will turn off unless the reverse trigger wire becomes active. At that point the monitor display will turn on until the reverse trigger becomes inactive. -
Record Record Time: choose the duration of the video
Format SD Card: “SD Card Format?” will pop up, press Yes to format the SD card.
Power On Record: If it is set to on, the monitor will start recording video upon startup. This function is set on by default.
Show NO CARD Message: If it is set to on, the monitor display ‘NO CARD’ when first powering up and no SD card is detected

Playback Video: The folder will increase with video files automatically. A new folder will be created once the files exceed a maximum of 997 in a folder. The larger the folder number, the newer folder. If the SD card is full, files will be deleted from the oldest folder Camera: Indicates the camera that performed the recording.
Name: File name.
Created: Creation date
Group Num: The corresponding value will increase by 1 with each recording. -
Date and Time Touch or press left/right plus OK key of the remote control to enter the value setting interface, and set the date and time through the small keyboard.
Date: Select the corresponding year, month and day
Time: Select the corresponding hour, minute, and second
INSTALLATION TIPS
- The monitor antenna should oriented in the same direction as the transmitter antenna.
- Ensure that the RVS letters of the wireless transmitter device are pointing towards the vehicle.
10.1 WIRELESS SYSTEM INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION.
- The monitor needs to be connected to the same circuit as the wireless transmitter device. This is most likely the Trailer ABS circuit (note: there may be several Trailer ABS circuits). Safely and securely using appropriate and approved methods, connect the red positive voltage power harness wire to this circuit.
- Safely and securely attach the black power harness wire to a ground point on the vehicle.
- If applicable, safely and securely attach the reverse trigger wire to the appropriate circuit for the vehicle.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Solutions for Poor Transmitter Signal
- Please confirm the antennas of the display and on the transmitter are perpendicular to the ground, and the antennas are tightened.
- If there is metal shielding between the monitor and the camera, an extended antenna should be used to bypass the metal shielding to ensure smooth transmission of antenna signal in space.

No signal| Antenna disconnected. Transmitter in poor reception area.
No sound| Check whether the sound volume is turned off or set too low. Some
cameras do not have audio function.
Black screen| Check camera connection cable to transmitter. Check transmitter
power.
Monitor always turns off| In the settings menu: disable ‘Display Only In
Reverse’
