If you are experiencing slow speeds with the product, please follow these troubleshooting steps:

  1.  If customer experiences slow speeds, we need to check the quality of Ethernet cable used whether it is CAT 5/ CAT5E type.
  2. If the devices connected to the switch is not ”ON” the Ethernet LED won’t be lit on the switch. sometimes, there might be loose connection with the Ethernet cables at both ends which can cause the Ethernet led not to turn “ON”
  3. About Sky box slow connection issues, please check if the Ethernet cable connected to it is seated properly or they are CAT 5e type and above for receiving better speeds.
  • Step 1: Check Ethernet Cable Quality
    Make sure that the Ethernet cable being used is of the correct type. It should be either CAT 5 or CAT5E.

  • Step 2: Check Device Connection
    Ensure that all devices connected to the switch are turned ON. If a device is not powered on, the Ethernet LED on the switch will not be lit. Additionally, check for any loose connections with the Ethernet cables at both ends, as this can also prevent the Ethernet LED from turning ON.
