Product Usage Instructions

Initial Setup – Turning on P2000UST-RGB

  1. Connect the power cord to P2000UST-RGB.
  2. Press the Power Button.
  3. A solid green light will stay on after the startup.

Using P2000UST-RGB as a Projector

Adjusting the Projected Image
To adjust the projected image, follow these steps:

  1. Use the 4 Corner Adjustment feature to adjust the projected image.
  2. Use the Warping Adjustment feature to configure the geometric distortion of the projector’s images when projecting onto uneven surfaces.
  3. Select the Focus button on the remote control and press Right/Up or Left/Down to fine-tune the image clarity until it is clear.

Wireless Projection

Via TV Dongle
To wirelessly project using a TV dongle, follow these steps:

  1. Connect your TV dongle (e.g., Fire TV Stick, Roku Stick) to the projector.
  2. Select the streaming service you wish to use.

Via USB Flash Drive
To wirelessly project using a USB flash drive, follow these steps:

  1. Connect your USB flash drive to the USB-A port on the projector.
  2. Go to Home > File Management.
  3. Choose the file you wish to open.

Cable Connected Projection
To project using a cable connection, connect your device to the projector using the appropriate cable (e.g., HDMI, VGA).

Bluetooth Remote Control

  • Step 2. Connecting your phone and the projector to the same Wi-Fi Network
  • Step 3. Open the NOMVDIC Remote Control app and select the projector (NOMVDIC XXXX)

    The Warping Adjustment to configure the geometric distortion of the projector’s images when the images are projected onto screens which have a kind of uneven surface such as a cylinder, a spherical shape, etc.

  • Fine-Tuning the Image Clarity
    Select the Focus button and press Right/Up or Left/Down to adjust the image until it is clear

  • Step 1. Connect your TV dongle (e.g., Fire TV Stick, Roku Stick) to the projector

Via HDMI Cable

  • Step 1. Connect one end of the HDMI cable to your device (e.g., DVD player)
  • Step 2. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the HDMI port on P2000UST-RGB
  • Step 3. In Home, select HDMI on the left column
  • Step 4. HDMI 1 support eARC to make it easy to connect your home theater speaker.

Shutting Down the Projector
Press Power Button on the remote control, choose Turn Off, or press Power Button on the projector to turn off the projector

Using P2000UST-RGB as a Bluetooth Speaker

How to pair P2000UST-RGB with your mobile phone for the first time

  • Step 1. Go to Home > Bluetooth
  • Step 2. Select Bluetooth Pairing. A sound effect will be audible upon pairing.
  • Step 3. On your phone, choose NOMVDIC P2000UST-RGB. Upon successful connection, another sound effect will be audible.

After the first successful pairing, you can turn on the Bluetooth speaker mode by going to Home > Bluetooth, and selecting Bluetooth Speaker. Your device will pair with P2000UST-RGB automatically.

FAQs

How do I clean the lens and exterior of my P2000UST-RGB?
To clean the projector lens, please use a microfiber cloth to prevent scratches or damage to the surface. DO NOT use any kind of chemical cleaner. You can clean the projector body with a slightly damp towel to wipe off any dust.

How do I screen mirror my mobile device content to my P2000UST-RGB?
To do screen mirroring, ensure your device is connected to the same network as the projector. It is recommended to use a 5GHz Wi-Fi network for best results.

For iOS

  • Step 1. Access the drop-down control menu
  • Step 2. Select the “Screen Mirroring” icon
  • Step 3. Choose “NOMVDIC XXXX”

For Android

  • Step 1. Download and install the “Google Home” application and open it
  • Step 2. Pull to refresh the app and wait for 30 seconds
  • Step 3. “NOMVDIC XXXX” will now be visible, select it

It’s recommended to use the APP casting function if Google Home does not work (e.g., YouTube).

  • Step 1. Open the YouTube App on your mobile device and tap on the Cast Icon.
  • Step 2. On the slide-up menu that appears, select “NOMVDIC XXXX”.

How do I install my P2000UST-RGB quickly?
Make sure your projection surface is even or use a professional projection screen to get the best visual performance.

  • Step 1. Place your projector on a stable surface at the recommended distance.

    • Distance is measured from the rear side (I/O) of the projector to the screen. To learn more, please find more details in the NOMVDIC user manual.
  • Step 2. Adjust the two, right and left, Adjuster Feet to change the projector’s height and angle to fit your screen.
  • Step 3. If necessary, adjust the 4 Corner Adjustment or Warping Adjustment via the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu.

Can I connect the P2000UST-RGB to a home theater audio system?
The P2000UST-RGB supports S/PDIF, HDMI eARC, and Audio Out.

  • Step 1. Connect your home audio system to the appropriate audio port on the projector.
  • Step 2. In the On-Screen Display (OSD) menu, go to: Home > Advanced > Audio Out
  • Step 3. Select the appropriate external speaker device.

The P2000UST-RGB can transmit and return audio signal over a single cable, reducing the extra audio cable between the projector and external audio system. If connecting over HDMI, please make sure the HDMI cable supports eARC for better audio performance.

Limited Warranty

What does the warranty cover?
NOMVDIC™ warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, NOMVDIC™ will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product with a similar product. Replacement Products or parts may include remanufactured or refurbished parts or components. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of the time remaining on the customer’s original limited warranty. NOMVDIC™ provides no warranty for any third-party software whether included with the product or installed by the customer, installation of any unauthorized hardware parts or components.
